Great place to shop! Was putting down new adhesive flooring. They had just what was needed. I would recommend this store. It was clean and the staff was pleasant!

Store associates are friendly and willing to help. Had to buy some paint and sales associate was very helpful and made some great suggestions when I was trying to match the paint and sheen. Bought a quart and the paint matched perfectly. Was a fraction of the price I paid at a premium paint supplier and much more helpful. Wish I would have gone to Home Depot in the first place. Next time I will.

I haven’t been to Home Depot in at least 5 years. The service was so poor (I relocated from Northern California), I stopped going. Today, my brother asked me to take him to Home Depot because he said the service is always so good. I rolled my eyes. Then, we entered..we were greeted, taken to where we needed to go, walked to the next area where we had to go. Matt was so patient with my brother. We found everything we needed. The icing on the cake was the self-checkout. Amira helped my brother (who was not very familiar with self check out) and she was so kind and patient. This store must be well managed. Thank you, Home Depot, for the great service. We’ll be back.

Here, I met my beautiful wife Suzy. She was looking in the unique lamp section, while I was looking at the pieces of wood. Let's just say, the wood wasn't the only hard thing in the Home Depot after I laid my eyes on her. Anywho, I decided she was the love of my life. She asked me, "What do you think of this lamp?" and I replied with, "You are the LIGHT of my life." We proceeded to get married and have our ceremony at the Home Depot, with those same wood pieces in the back that bring me back to our early days. We also had our first child here. The service was impeccable. I love you Suzy.

I have never liked shopping in this Home Depot store because of the unprofessional and rude attitude of some staff.
Yesterday however, was a different day when I noticed a 180 degrees change in the staff behavior. Everyone was very helping and cordial.

Almost always find what I am looking for, and if I can't I ask an employee, and they find it. Large selection of everything you need in the home and to fix it. And if you can't do it yourself, HD can find you someone you can hire to do it. Good store.

Of course Home Depot has all you need to make your home and garden beautiful. My husband and I gutted our bathroom and kitchen. We bought everything from here. Go online to find awesome deals and items. Most of our fixtures were online only items.

Kaitlyn in the Hardware Department helped me find the correct KWITSET locks and deadbolts for my doors. She also took the time to explain how they worked and how one set would need to be rekeyed so that they all worked with a single key. When I went in to purchase them, she had them waiting and David the person who rekeyed the locks was equally as helpful, professional and customer focused. In short, Kaitlyn is a huge assess to your VanDyke/Metro Pwky Home Depot in Sterling Heights, MI.

They have everything that you need to build a home from scratch. This store never seems to have a long line which nice. Friendly staff that is willing to help when you need it.

I was returning a Milwaukee tool that I had bought for my son almost 6 months ago. The battery kept popping out of the holder. The older gentleman whose name is Michael helped me.
I explained everything to him, gave him my receipt, the item and original box. He asked me if I wanted a replacement or refund. I wanted a refund so my son could pick up the newest model. Michael was so helpful and sweet that I told the manager on duty that Michael should train the new hires. I just love Home Depot.

I want to thank Nadia and the store manager who worked on 5/17/2023 (Mike or Mark?) for helping get my item that I ordered online to ship to my house. The Home Depot help desk online and via phone could not resolve my issue of not receiving 1 of 2 packages. Long story short, I ordered 2 expensive items for the price of one because that’s what was available online as one order number. The only thing online support would do is provide me with a refund of the item that was delivered, which didn’t even add up to the amount I paid. Nadia and the store manager took care of me right of way and gave me the missing item and the Sterling Heights store ate the cost. I really hope online support sees this and improves their customer service. Thank you again to this store location! I have not had a bad in person experience so I will continue to be a life long customer.

I drive out of my way to shop at this specific location. The staff is always nice, friendly and knowledgeable. It’s my go to 100% of the time no matter for what or where I’m driving from.
