RC One Racing

For somebody setting up their first 1/10 scale buggy for racing, the guys at RC One have been super helpful and knowledgeable. The pricing is competitive, the inventory is correct, and not littered with a bunch of filler garbage to occupy shelf space. These guys are to the point, smart, and will give you the right info and educate you. I’ve had the owner and other staff members working with me one on one to get my car set up correctly, even a few minutes after closing time. THAT right there says it all, these people care and are willing to help you out in the name of being good human beings as well as growing the sport. The layout of the pit area is phenomenal and the track is very well kept/designed. I see a few people have had negative things to say but keep in mind this track is designed and thought out around 1/10 scale racing, and if your car falls outside of those specs, then it wouldn’t be competitive/capable on this track. That’s just the way it is, and you’ll have the same experience at most/all other black carpet tracks. Just not designed for your basher car, plain and simple. People who run these tracks spend lots of time and money to keep them up to par for the type of racing that takes place there. Chassis protectors ensure you don’t destroy the expensive CRC black carpet the track is lined with, and these guys even offer parts developed in house for common race chassis that have durability and longevity in mind. The staff and racers who frequent this track alike have all been awesome people to deal with along the way, and myself and others will definitely continue to compete and do business here. If there was a 6-star option, I would have rated it as such.

Excellent track and racer-centric hobby shop with friendly staff. The facility is very clean and well setup. My only complaint is that I live 3 hours away, but it was still worth the drive.

Was there for the Midwest off-road carpet championship on the 21st will say the place has improved I remember when it was a clay track now it's black carpet had a blast good track for buggys 2/4wd and good for stadium 2wd and short course 2wd (I helped out by adding there closet hours i can find on there website to find if are not busy please call ahead of schedule to make sure as for I cannot add this to the hours)

Awesome track, super clean and state of the art facility. If you run a transponder make sure it is a MyLaps branded one. The owner Mike is a stellar guy and all the staff are very helpful.

First time running the track here yesterday for drop in practice and might I say this track is top notch!!! Beautiful clay and facility, clean pit areas, clean restrooms, nice hobby shop that caters to racers. Will be my new regular track

Great staff and nice (but very limited) selection. The track looks really cool and can't wait to use it.

UPDATE: Used the track, fun. They are seasonal. So they should be back open in the fall.

RC One is the best facility for radio controlled racing in the state as far as I'm concerned. The facility keeps getting better as the owner makes improvements that they discover new tips and tricks and as budget allows. The hobby shop has steadily been adding more and more items although like most places it can be tough to get certain things. The guys that work at the shop are extremely helpful and will answer any questions you might have. This shop is definitely geared towards the more serious RC racer/enthusiast though so they won't have any of the toys that some other places might. You can bring your Traxxas it Tamiya to bash on the track but they aren't going to have parts for it or have any real feedback on what's wrong with it. All in all this is one of my favorite local places to go and I'm glad I stopped in a year ago to check it out, made a lot of new friends and most of all I've had a ton of fun!

Michigan racers are thankful for this track. The staff works hard, the building is great, and the racers here are positive and welcoming.

Only been here once. But, an amazing place to care and everyone was friendly. I definitely will get a membership. The place is clean and staff was great.
