Richmond Veterinary Hospital

Thanks all the amazing staff, my 9 years old boxer Ranger was in you care from 7 weeks old til yesterday when he crossed the rainbow bridge. We had to change our vet for a bit due to my health, but when we pulled into Richmond vet yesterday he was so excited cause he knew he was going to see his favorite vet techs and stuff here even when he didn't feel good. A special thanks to Anita Jonathan and Amanda for their amazing care of both myself and Ranger God bless and we will see you soon as my health has become much better and we will return to our most amazing veterinary hospital truly yours the Critchley family

I love this vet. The doctor and the staff are awesome.. It is very clean, and when u walk in, it does not even smell like they have animals unless a dog barks.. I trust this vet to help me make good decisions on what's best for Roxy..

Outstanding service!! Brought our dog in after he had a bad surgery from another office. Dr. Donovan is a skilled, professional vet. She was able to close the wound in his chest. After many visits and bandage changes, I can honestly say the Richmond Veterinary Clinic is amazing! They work as a team which you don’t see often. Happy faces and love for our Axel even during busiest times. The technicians and front desk are very friendly and professional. Thank you 😊

Sadly, we had to visit to say goodbye to our dog Boeschloki. There is a reason we go there for this service. The room doesn't feel like a sterile operating room, and definitely feels a lot more like "home." Great service, great care. Thank you, everyone.

I love this place!!! New owners now and they are fantastic! They helped me and my friend when we brought in a stray cat we were looking after so much! They really cared and made every effort to accommodate us! They are beautiful, all of the staff and doctors!❤

Thank you for graciously taking care of our angelboy’s ear after a dog fight when our vet was closed for the holiday weekend. The friendliness of the staff from receptionist to tech, to Dr G was top notch!

I was nervous to leave my fur baby while away but when I picked her up from Richmond Vet, she was so happy and looked like she had been spoiled for the few days I was gone. I will always trust you to care for my fur babies. I loved the report card, too! Beyond boarding, I feel very confident and at ease with the vet care both of my babies have gotten. We are new patients and I was so pleased. The techs are thorough and super friendly and gentle with my pups. The drs are also amazing. I never feel rushed and everything is explaied to the most intricate detail. I will never go anywhere else!

We had a great experience at the Richmond Veterinarian Hospital. It was the first and only time we've gone there so far, but it was clean, spacious, and well-lit. The staff was pleasant and courteous (to us, and to our dog).
We were only there for an ear infection, so I'm sure other procedures can range higher... But we got out alive [with office visit from the doctor, ear cleaning, culture sample taken her ears (analyzed on-site within a few minutes), and prescription for cleaner and medication, and optional nail trimming] for under $140. I've never walked out of a vet thinking "cool, that barely put a dent in my wallet..."- and this was no exception. But I also didn't feel completey ripped off, as I have elsewhere.
I would suggest this place to others.

My oldest dog...had a hematoma in her ear. Poor baby. The vet assistants were quick and helpful. The vet was to the point and gave 3 options to help.
We appreciatated the precise, quick, easy appointment with the Richmond Veterinary Hospital, and we've decided to keep taking our babies to this Hospital because they treated our babies and us with care and respect.

Update:
I absolutely 💯 ♥ the way the vet assistant greated Nisha. He got down to her level and allowed her to act with her own behavior (trained of course). But it was very sweet the way she held out her paw for him to shake.
The assistant listened carefully and provided good information per any questions I had.
Dr. Chris came in and of course we discussed the best course of action for Nisha's health. I agreed with him on the course of action and hopefully over the next week or so..we will begin to see a better reaction to meds prescribed.
The front desk attendants have a lot of noise they were dealing with, but did a great job none the less. I will continue to take my babies to see Dr. Chris and be treated by some of the sweetest assistants I have ever met.

Thank-you for every single visit being a visit I want to keep returning to.

After my last Vet retired I searched around to find another. We tried out a few options near my area and I chose to use Richmond Vet. I am very happy with the service I have received the past few years. I'll gladly drive the extra time to get care for my animals. There are three dogs in our house and I am very happy with the care I've been provided even in my emergency situations . Cost have been reasonable. I would recommend this Vet.

I highly recommend Richmond Veterinary Hospital. My sphynx had his teeth cleaned by Dr. Guisenger. He took excellent care of my cat, and the staff was so helpful and kind. Thanks to one of the techs, who totally spoiled him, I have discovered my cat loves being carried around in a pouch! :) Thank you so much for his awesome care!

Everyone was so helpful! It was my first time away from Cali And I was a nervous wreck! (Especially since she had developed some bad anxiety after fireworks). The staff was so kind in accepting my calls, and texts. They responded also with some pics to help reassure me that Cali was OK. Ty so much!♥🐶

My dogs are very picky with people. When I started out with my oldest dog, I went all over Chesterfield where I used to live, I searched all over for one that they would like the people. I found Hollow Corners through my mom. That was her vet and went there for a while until I moved and started going to Richmond. My dogs liked them there as best as dogs like vets (lol) and I have been going there ever since. I lost my baby, my first dog and I loved him very much. I did all I could to keep him happy and keep him going. When the time came, I knew what had to be done and Richmonds team was very very comforting. All of them were supportive and some even cried with me. Spaz was the best dog ever. He went everywhere with me and Dr G was his Dr. and he was very nice and did the best he could to make Spaz comfortable. I enjoy all the people there.

My dog had a medical emergency on Sat 9th he was attacked and bitten on his face by a skunk after calling his primary vets emergency number and getting no response I began calling several other Vets only to be told that my dog needed to be a previous patient. I had 2 more places to try I called Richmond vet and they told me to bring him in . I can't say enough good things about this place they are caring, compassionate and very friendly. I am happy to say they will now be Kyokos new vet . Thanks again .

I always feel I am given the best care out there at Richmond Veterinary! I absolutely love the staff Jessica always goes above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. And Dr Donovan always makes us feel comfortable and informed with all treatment coming our way! I have recommended this practice to many friends! I just love them!!

Compassionate staff. Dr. Donovan is a gem!! Very accommodating, professional, knowledgeable and kind staff. Our kittys are well cared for when they visit.

They were quick to get our Shelby in same day. When we called the following day with additional concerns, the Dr. called us back right away. Excellent service and knowledgeable staff! Thank you for taking great care of Shelby!!
