Shipley Do-Nuts

Reasonably priced donuts compared to the ones sold by a chain and they aren’t affected by shrinkflation. Good variety of donuts to choose from and they’re really fresh and filling. If you’re lucky enough, you get coupons in the mail too. Parking can be a bit right in the morning when most folks want fresh donuts.

Compared to others— Shipley Do-Nuts are EXCELLENT! Their donut dough is light and fluffy but has a much better chew than most donuts. They have a large selection of delicious donuts at a great price. The chocolate covered Bavarian cream filled is my personal favorite. I also love the donut holes! My wife likes the buttermilk donuts, and my kids (less refined palate) like anything with colored icing and sprinkles.

Fantastic Do-Nuts. The standard flavors plus cherry iced which is hard to find. PLUS the kolaches are great. Sausage & cheese, with or without jalapeños, ham&cheese too.

I'm so excited! They have Shipleys where I'm from, and I found one! Tried all my old favorites, if u like fritters, this the place!! Highly recommend, it was like a taste of home!

Unreal selection of fresh donuts! We were in Birmingham for 3 days and got Shipleys all 3 mornings for breakfast. It’s that good! The coffee is excellent as well. Oh and we even got a dozen for the trip back home!

They have a lovely selection of donuts. They also have bear claws, cinnamon twists and kolaches. I ordered two sausage and cheese kolaches. I also ordered two ham and cheese kolaches. I recommend the sausage and cheese! I first had kolaches in San Antonio years ago. FYI Eat them while they are still warm. I also ordered 1/2 dozen donuts: chocolate iced, chocolate iced with sprinkles, strawberry iced with sprinkles, plain white iced with sprinkles, crunch donut, and maple iced. I spent about $20 for the entire order. They are reasonably priced. The lady behind the counter was nice and helpful. She even gave recommendations since I was new to the store. Make sure to check their times, you may miss them if you show up too late.

The food and service is always awesome when I go. My favorite kolach is the pepperoni pizza. You should really give them a try when you are in Hoover,Alabama

Love Shipley’s! Haven’t had any since the store in Monroe Louisiana went out of business. I’ll be stopping through each and every time I go to or from my hometown.

Shipley donuts are delicious and terrific and the prices are great, everyone knows that. But what really makes this a 5-star location is the staff; they're almost as sweet as the donuts themselves. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, week after week. This is the place to go if you want service with a smile. Truly a pleasure and worth driving a bit out of the way

The best doughnut stop in town. Everything is great! Small dining area but most people take out. Small parking lot and it is often crowded because the food is so good

This place speaks for itself. Shipley's has the best donut holes in town (no doubt) and the most fresh variety of donuts daily!! Grab a cup of coffee or soda (with the good ice) and sit outside on a picnic table soaking in the sun or grab and take wherever! Good prices and yummy donuts!
