What a lovely time and experience at Hokkaido Ramen House! Located in Hoffman Estates, IL., this restaurant was amazing all around! If you're looking for ramen and in the area, Hokkaido is your next stop.

The food was outstanding! We experienced the Miso Ramen with pork, Spicy Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen with chili oil, Crab Ragoon, and Gyoza (I took Spicy Beef Ramen to go). Flavors were on point, meals were delicious and innovative, and the prices were moderate. Don't dress your best, bring a messy shirt to eat in!

The service was admirable. There were great table manners, water cups were filled, the food came out hot and fast, and the staff appeared to love serving. Can't ask for a better experience!

The environment was great! The restaurant was clean, has a nice vibe, and had great pictures of the culture.

Hokkaido Ramen House was an all-around great experience. I loved it!

Excellent first experience here. Top notch 👌 garlic Tonkotsu ramen. Our whole table agreed that each item we ordered was great. The drinks were also well made. I usually recommend Misoya Ramen in Mount Prospect, but if you are closer to Hokkaido Ramen House, then definitely give this one a try. You may find your new favorite Ramen bowl. I can't wait to try the other options available here as well. We will be back!

Simple unassuming place and just so so good!
Service is very friendly and attentive. Food comes out pretty quick. Rice dishes come out faster than ramen bowls so be aware.
Can't really go wrong with anything on the menu from teas to rice dishes to ramen. Everything we have tried has been absolutely delish.
We have had as appetizer: the crab salad (has bits of apple for added crunch) , the bang bang shrimp , karaage, and crab Rangoon. Recommend them all.
For dinner: we have sampled the spicy ramen (I picked spicy), tonkatsu pork and chicken ramen, the tantamen (ginger sesame broth), shoyu ramen and the beef shank ramen. Loved them all!
I typically make sure there is an egg and bamboo in all my broth based ramens.i Like the added protein and texture they bring.
I can only eat about half of a bowl and have enough for another meal the next day which is awesome.

Best ramen, hands down… and I have had alot of ramen. The broth was delicious and savory, the perfect amount of spice. The pork was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. Everyone so friendly and had a smile on their face. New favorite place!

In looking for a top ramen restaurant found us driving a hr and half to try what turned into the best experience we have had from the nice seating choices of booth or table… the spicy beef ramen wasn’t anything to burn your face off our 10yr old son just loved the flavor and that big ol beef bone just made his day… the spicy ramen at the hot level wasn’t bad at all scale of 1-10 I would give the heat a 4 will definitely try the hottest next time the chicken ramen was full of flavor the only
Down side was the chicken was dry and tough otherwise it was a amazing experience all the wait staff was very polite

My boyfriend and I have been going to this restaurant every week after church for over a month now. Everything we have ordered has been phenomenal! That’s a huge plus, but even more than that, it’s a family owned restaurant and the son of the owners is the server and he provides top tier customer service. I have been a customer service expert for Chick-fil-A for 15 years and would say he easily provides 5 star service all by himself. Great job to the team there and keep those crab rangoons coming!

Really rich broth and good amount of spice. Ramen here is great if you're in the mood for it. They also have a variety of Japanese appetizers and rice dishes in case you don't want ramen.

Really nice place. Actually had vegetarian ramen, which is a major plus for me! Their staff is really friendly and their ramen and boba were delicious! The area they're in doesn't exactly have a ton of ramen places so this place is definitely a welcome addition. Really pleasant place, too.

Amazing ramen! Excellent service every single time I’ve gone. I just love this place and their employees are seriously amazing and deserve raises/bonuses or something because they are always super sweet and quick to get you whatever you want. LOVE IT

Stopped in for lunch during a work trip and was extremely impressed. Ordered the spicy beef ramen and Takoyaki Octopus and was very happy. Excellent flavor with both plates. Looking forward to going back sometime.

We tried veggie ramen, spicy beef ramen, spicy ramen and tantan ramen yesterday. Everything was so good! The service was very good as well! And the galaxy bubble tea omg tasty! We definitely will come back.

I love their garlic chashu ramen! I added an extra shoyu egg just cuz that's how I roll. The broth is rich, flavorful, and not too salty. The chashu is luscious and tender. Their tea/boba drinks are "not too sweet", just how I like em. And best of all, they have aloe jelly, which I personally love more than a chewy boba. They make an outstanding karrage chicken with (1)coconut aioli and (2) sweet chili that doesn't taste like it's out of the bottle like the stuff I have at home. I've made the 1 hour drive to Hokkaido Ramen House twice this month. (I live out in the sticks with the cows and goats).
Only thing that was kinda a bummer was the matcha tiramisu was served frozen and we didn't have time to let it thaw to proper texture.
I love the waiter, fo' sure. Friendly, attentive, and thoughtful without hovering. I appreciate that.

Food is very good. Always a favorite on cold rainy nights. Never eaten in before but just did for the first time and the service was exceptional. Very attentive, quick, and friendly.

Great food. Good atmosphere. Kani salad was fresh and tasty. Ramen and the matcha tiramisu were perfection. Lots of tea options.

I ordered the Tonkatsu with garlic broth and marinated eggs. It was off the charts phenomenal. The broth was rich and full of flavor and you could tell that the ingredients were fresh. I ordered takeout. I also got the egg rolls. There was too much peanut butter (yes, not peanut sauce) for my liking but the other favors and crunch were good.

I’ve had ramen in Japan many times. This is the best ramen I’ve had in the states. Rich broth, noodles are perfect. Chasu has great flavor. 100% worth it every time. Staff is very attentive. Wonderful experience.

It was a nice experience, good service and the food was good. The noodles were delicious. My dish contained pork. I am not a fan of pork. Other than that it was good.
