Mike was awesome!! My trucks after market security system locked up when I replaced my battery and wouldn't allow the vehicle to start. I spoke with multiple mechanics who were clueless. I finally spoke with one who recommended that I call someone who installs security and stereo systems. I called Safe and Sound, and Mike knew the issue immediately. Not only that, when I was finally able to get it hot wired to drive, he literally had it fixed in 30 seconds!

Fantastic experience. Mike did an amazing job installing a new Alpine head unit in my old Tacoma. I told him what I wanted regarding USB placement and controls, and it came out exactly as I had hoped. Very pleased with the service and I highly recommend his shop.

Once again, Mike at Safe and Sound Auto Accessories comes through! I bought a remote start from Mike over 4 years ago, and after a battery replacement in my MDX, the remote start no longer worked. I called Mike, who walked me through the reset process 3 times over the phone, but I failed to get it to work consistently on both my remotes. Mike said to drop by at my convenience, and he'd check it out. I did, and in 2 minutes, Mike had both of my remotes working.
I asked what I owed him, and he said "nothing, it's under warranty". What great, friendly service.
I've bought 2 remote starters from Mike, for my wife and daughter, and will certainly buy another from him, when we finally replace my wife's car.

I took my son's car to Mike at Safe & Sound after doing a Google search and reading a few online reviews. My son had attempted to install a new car stereo in his 2005 VW, but it wasn't working properly. Compounding this issue was a broken antenna.

The reviews I'd read about Mike and Safe & Sound were all positive, with numerous comments about the quality of workmanship and finish Mike and his crew bring to their craft. My experience only confirmed everything I'd read. When I arrived Safe & Sound, Mike spoke with me about my son's car while working on a wiring harness. He took the time to show me his soldering technique and why it's important to do things a certain way to ensure the work is done right and done once. After finishing the harness, we went my son's car and he deftly removed the stereo from the dash.

I was fully expecting a rat's nest of wiring issues and a big wince from Mike when he got a look at my son's install. To my surprise, he said "not good, but I've seen worse." Mike then proceeded to fully remove the stereo and get to work on my son's wiring harness. I was a bit surprised by this too, because I was expecting him to setup an appointment for me to come back for him to do the work. But he said he'd had a cancellation and he could knock this out while I waited. In about 30 minutes, the stereo was back in the dash and working great. Mike also found a part in his parts bin for the antenna and got it working perfectly as well.

I cannot recommend Mike and Safe & Sound highly enough. Truly a good person, a true craftsman, and honest and fair business man.

I just bought a 2020 Subaru. Love the car, but the sound system--nope, sorry, not good enough. When I talked with Mike about it, he clearly understood what I was after, and he was forthright in recommending a solution that would really deliver a satisfying listening experience. I am delighted with the results--the sound is clean and clear, and sometimes I hear things in the mix that I hadn't noticed previously. I'm not a serious audiophile, but I am a musician and have a decent ear. I highly recommend Mike and his company. His work was very professional, with all the electronics and wiring as clean and unobtrusive as could be. If someone is doing this kind of work on my car, I really want to be confident that is it being done right, and with Mike-- no worries. He knows cars, music, electronics, and customer service, and he does quality work. Now driving my new car is satisfying in ALL ways--something I look forward to!

Mike is the best around and it's not even close! Bought a Jeep took it to him to get a sound upgrade and he hooked me up! Told him my budget and he made sure we didn't go a penny over. Couldn't be happier with the service, he even worked on a Sunday and a Holiday to make sure my Jeep was hooked up! If there was ever someone who deserves more than 5 stars it's Mike! Can't recommend him enough!

Mike is a legend!! I have a Volvo which is a car that is notoriously hard to work on. I've had a Bluetooth unit that I purchased that sat around for months because no one I talked to could/wanted to install it into my car. I found Safe and Sound Auto Accessories and without hesitation Mike installed it in literally 30 minutes!! I was so impressed by his expertise I tipped him an extra 100$ for his amazing service. Will definitely be talking all my sound needs to him in the future and referring anyone I know. If you take your car here it will be in good hands!

I bought my Jeep a year ago and it came with an auto start. It randomly stopped working and Mike fixed it in no time. He's super knowledgeable and has been doing this forever. He goes above and beyond and I'd love to keep supporting this great business! So come here for all the cool toys

I was referred by an acquaintance and stopped by to set up an appointment to get my older systems components checked because of poor sound quality. I didn’t look at the reviews until now that I decided to leave one. None of the reviews surprise me. Mike went above and beyond my expectations. Mike was great, professional, and prompt. I wanted blue tooth capability in my 2006 Audi A3. Mike gave me an honest quote, better than anyone else around, and he told what the cost would not exceed, and he came out significantly under. Love this place. I got a stereo installed in my VW last year, perfect job. I also just got a sub and amp installed by Mike. Lowest price around and a perfect job as well. Mike installed a new deck, replaced front speakers and backup camera. Very competitive prices and top notch service. I am very happy with the workmanship. He took time to explain everything he would be doing when I dropped the car off. He stands behind his work and is extremely knowledgeable. He also installs seat warmers. Got a new car stereo GPS receiver for my son for Christmas. Called Mike on 12/26. He took it in the same day, and installed the new GPS receiver in a VW GTI. Full attention to detail. Looks and works great. Took about 1-1/2 hours. Final bill $100. Highly recommend this shop and Mike. Could not have asked for better service or a quicker turnaround.
