Foxy Loxy Cafe

During our holiday in Savannah a while back, we visited a coffee shop that was recommended to us by a friend. We were impressed with the quality of coffee and zucchini bread offered at this establishment, which were very tasty. The courtyard seating area provided a relaxing ambiance, where we enjoyed catching up with friends. We plan to return to this coffee shop in the future, as we would like to try their Tex-Mex dishes, which we heard are also very good.

Foxy Loxy is an absolute hidden gem nestled in the heart of Savannah, GA, and our recent visit left us completely awestruck. While the rave reviews about their coffee are abundant, we ventured here specifically to sample their vegetarian tacos, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint!My wife and I each indulged in two tacos along with a side of queso, and every bite was a flavor explosion that defied our expectations. The fact that these culinary delights were entirely vegetable-based, without a hint of beans, left us in awe of the chef's creativity and skill.Now, it's worth mentioning that there can be a bit of a wait from ordering to receiving your food, but trust us, it's well worth it. To pass the time, we opted to bask in the delightful ambiance of the outdoor courtyard tucked behind the restaurant. The sunny weather only added to the charm, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable.In summary, Foxy Loxy is a culinary haven that exceeded our wildest expectations. From the mouthwatering vegetarian tacos to the inviting courtyard atmosphere, every aspect of our visit was nothing short of perfection. We'll undoubtedly be returning at the earliest opportunity, eager to savor more of Foxy Loxy's delectable offerings. Five stars without a doubt!

I cannot express this enough, this is the place to be! Foxy Loxy has incredible food, a good atmosphere, and friendly staff. We hosted a birthday brunch for my eight-year-old niece here and she loved it! The food was so good. The girls had me go back-and-forth and order more at least three times. Shout out to Kim, Nathan, Jay, and, of course, the rest of the kitchen staff for being so helpful. Good and delicious food! Highly recommend

You get a book store, nice relaxing courtyard, coffee, pastries (mostly vegan), and tacos all in one cool place. You can spend hours just hanging out here. Nice staff and fair prices. Highly recommend!

This place was everything when I was in college back in the day. Comedy nights, poetry readings, live music… the courtyard is out of a dream. The building is so cool. Unforgettable tacos. Did so many group projects here… so many conversations and ideas born. Such an iconic place.

So groovy! We’ve heard about Foxy for forever but it was our first time going! Lovely baristas, the girl who made our coffee had awesome viewfinder earrings- so cool. We hung out in the courtyard which connects to the bookstore next door, also phenomenal. Good coffee, good brownies. Def recommend :)

We were going to try Squirrel's Pizza down the street, but it had some pretty bad reviews.
Foxy Loxy had lots of reviews and a great rating.

Tacos sounded good, so we headed over. I was a bit concerned by first appearances because I'm not a fan of serving myself when I spend the money to go out. We approached the counter and were greeted well. She explained the food and drink options patiently.
She said we could eat outside... once we found outside it was very nice! 2 fire pits were burning, and soft musice filled the air. There was a table with sticks and free marshmallows to roast.
Our food came out nicely presented. CHIPOTLE CHICKEN TACO, BEEF & CHORIZO TACO, and MEXI-DIPS & CHIPS. Everything was amazing. Once the food was gone, we relaxed by the fire and ate marshmallows 😁

Stopped for a coffee and kolache before exploring the more residential area of Savannah. It was quite busy at 10:30 am on a Saturday, but the line moved fairly quickly.

Nice coffee shop to work out of. Went here while in Savannah for a few days. Solid food and coffee. Lots of students and a long line to order but they offer online ordering!

There’s quite a bit of seating out back on their beautiful patio. Good amount of seating inside.

This is my first place I go to once I get off the plane and visit Savannah!

The coffee is excellent and the breakfast choices are plethoric. I never had a Kolache before coming here for the first time over ten years ago! It changed my life. We now have a place in Brooklyn but it’s not the same. They work with local ingredients and butchers for their fillings. Plenty of vegan options as well. There are a bunch of vegan options and lunch choices as well.

There is great seating out back or in front outside–especially if you have a dog. The vibes are southern Texan flare meets central perk from Friends. Kind of an idyllic dream of a space.

Pro moves- try to go in the off hours (which are the hours that SCAD students don’t operate) and before 2pm when the pastries sell out

Hot Horchata Latte

On a cold night, it's always good to have something delicious to sip on. Foxy Loxy's outside courtyard made it even better with the warm fire pit and beautiful decor. This was definitely a fun environment and I thoroughly enjoy The Castro's @thecastrosmusic !!! I can't wait to return.

Amazing place! Feels like home because staff is incredible and so nice. The cookie dough brownie is insane. The Matcha Mondays is a great deal and they have bon fires Saturday nights which is super rad!

The drip coffee refill is the best deal on the block!

The Savory scone and vegetarian taco are both remarkable.

Foxy Loxy is my go to coffee spot whenever I’m in town. The horchata latte is to this day the best latte I’ve ever had. Their kolaches are also killer (their limited edition Thanksgiving kolache is amazing). Aside from the incredible food, the atmosphere at foxy is what really makes it. They have ample seating both indoors and outdoors. My favorite is their outdoor patio in the back.

Beautiful, clean place. They opened a bookstore next door where they also have a bar; I got an iced herb tea and it didn’t disappoint. The cafe also has a patio where you can seat to eat but not to smoke. The food was absolutely wonderful! I got a chorizo taco, and a guacamole and chips; I was a little nervous ordering Mexican food because is difficult to find restaurants here that know what Mexican food is. The taco was superb, the guacamole perfect, and the chips (totopos) crisp. Beautiful, relaxed, cute place to have a bite, and to feel pampered by the great service, and the smile of the employees!

My favorite location in the Coffee Fox family of coffee shops in Savannah due to its courtyard oasis & menu of Auspicious bakery items and made to order Tex-Mex food. I recommend the everything bagel kolache or the breakfast burrito. If you order from the kitchen, expect to wait for a bit. It does take some time especially when they’re busy which is almost all the time.

If you're in Savannah, you HAVE to stop in to Foxy Loxy!

One of, if not THE best cafes in Savannah.

The order style is walk up, then find a table at one of the many seats inside, upstairs, or in the courtyard outback. I recommend the courtyard.

Coffee is tasty with a lot to choose from, but the tacos are dynamite. Seriously, they're amazing.

My goodness... that taco I had was amazing! The pork/ beef one is so good! It was super flavorful and the tortilla was crispy. I had ordered it online from Google to go, walked back 10 minutes to my apartment, and the food was still warm! They were wrapped in tinfoil which was nice and kept their shape. I got a beef/pork one and a chicken one. The beef/pork one was so good, I wish I had gotten more. And the chicken one was good too, but my spice tolerance is low so I was dying from the spiciness. I also had gotten a cookie dough brownie which was very yummy! I recommend ordering your food online that way it’s ready as soon as you get there and you don’t have to wait long for it. I will definitely come back for that taco and brownie for sure!!!
