Whispers Cafe and Creperie

I loved that they offer patio seating. Its a great location if you are strolling through the Downtown, San Carlos Street area. Crepes were very good. Although, I am not a huge fan of the order at the counter and take a number. If you're going to encourage me to tip the server, I would prefer to be served. I tip anyway! Staff was friendly and food arrived very quickly. The Pomegranate Mimosa was refreshing without a super sweet juice. I highly recommend.

The best way for me to describe this place is to tell you to think of a more pleasant and way tastier IHOP or Denny's experience.

From the outside, the place looks like one of those older steak joints in Vegas. You know, the $2.99 steak spots, but cleaner and nicer. Don't let that prevent you from going in. The inside is super cute and nothing like what I expected. The staff are super friendly and the restaurant is clean and cool.

I love real brewed iced tea and they have it. The service is also great and the food came out within minutes, which caught me off guard. We didn't have time to take our phones out and check social media, which was funny. This was the case for every table. Everyone's food was coming out within minutes and everyone seemed happy with their food.

I recommend the fish and chips, or the Texan BBQ Savory Crepe. They were yummy and very filling.

This place is perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch date. Service was speedy and the food was so good!! They have both sweet and savory crepes. We tried both the Whisper and Monterey. The whisper was very light and sweet. Monterey was fully loaded and was enough for two people. We were very satisfied and will be back! Short walk from SJSU campus too. This is for all you SJSU peeps :)

Nice brunch place right next to the San Jose State University campus. Lots of great brunch options like crepes, benedicts and omelettes, as well as sandwiches and soups. They also have adult beverages like beer and mimosas. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoors. Great brunch spot in downtown San Jose.

My first time to Whispers Cafe and I left with a great first impression . A genuine, friendly greeting with continuously good and friendly service. The food selection is ample. The food was very tasty, and the seasonings blended well with the food. The atmosphere is welcoming. The cafe is well-kept and clean. There's plenty of parking. It's paid parking, and there's lots available.
I would definitely recommend Whispers Cafe. (no pictures while I was inside. it was a great visit, and trust me, the food is delicious)

Delicious food. Mimosas aren't the best but the food is where it's at. Been here twice now and the food has really been fantastic. Would recommend the Texas bbq crepe. And the whispers crepe comes topped with ice cream. Order that after food or ice cream will melt while devouring other food.

Coffee was good, food was very good. Big portions and hearty food. The staff was pleasant and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed, perfect for Saturday morning. The menu had several options, and my wife and I both got to pick something we wanted.

on my plate is the pesto sandwich that was very tasty, the fries were just okay nothing out of this world. i also got an iced coffee which was very tasty. not too sweet and not bitter.

on my friends plate is one of their crepes. she enjoyed it with the scoop of ice cream it came with.

Amazingly good 😁 being from Texas where our food is usually full of flavor, I must admit my daughter and I were very well pleased. The service was awesome, and even though we're not accustomed to dining outside (because Texas it's always hot!) It was great! The food was aesthetically pleasing. 👍👍 Up!

I ordered the Texan BBQ crepe and it was delicious! Savory and full of flavor, I would totally come back to try more variety of crepes as they all sounded delicious on the menu. My husband ordered the Salsa inlet with breakfast potatoes and the portions were huge! I had to take a few bites to help, and confirm that the inlet was also delicious. We totally recommend this spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

I came during lunch on a Tuesday, and it was not crowded at all, so we were able to order quickly and got our food quickly. Service was excellent. They are not just a crepe shop though, they also have sandwiches and salads. Ingredients in my crepe were very fresh. I would definitely eat here again and try some of their other items on the menu.

I love these crepes!!!! There's usually a line, but don't let that discourage you. The food comes pretty quickly. I got the Tetrazzini crepe and my hubby got the BBQ crepe. Both were excellent but I feel like the Tetrazzini was better. We also split the banana carmel sweet crepe and it was soooo tasty! It's perfect with the ice cream!!! Three crepes for two people was admittedly a lot, but we were hungry and we ate almost all of it. Recommended!!

I love the coffee here. They have an all day menu so if you're feeling burgers in the morning and eggs later (or the other way around), this is your place. Unlike other reviews, I do like ordering at the register and sitting to be served. The wait staff was friendly but not overly so that it was forced. I had eggs with hot links and they were delicious. I plan to return for some of the other menu items that look so good!

Had a wonderful time at Whispers, food came out faster than we expected. The Monterey crepe was great, the Buenos crepe was okay (was better after putting hot sauce on it). All in all, it met our expectations and we had a good time

Gorgeous location with great outdoor seating, attentive staff, and great atmosphere. The crepes were incredible!! Absolutely perfect balance of sweet and savory and their sides are fantastic!

Been here a few times, enjoyed the sandwiches I have ordered. Pretty quick service, amicable staff. Centrally located in downtown.

Pandas club, latte and mimosa. Large portions very filling, good service, nice atmosphere. Will always come here for breakfast when visiting!
