Wagon Wheel RV Campground

The beds were comfortable but were too tall for kids. The hotel and the rooms were really clean. The staff was very informative and polite. They were very courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff made sure to be fair with the price and gave us all applicable discounts. The price was lower than most of the area but didn't look cheap. The whiteness of the towels was outstanding. The breakfast was decent. I just wish that the eggs and potatoes were warmer but the lemonade tea was very good. I don't know if they get a lot of babies but they should get a high chair. I don't know if you get a lot of groups but it would be nice if the dining area had more chairs and a bigger family table. There was a bathroom right there in the lobby so you dont have to go all the way back to your room. I liked how peaceful it was. Having a Hispanic staff helped when the local people felt racist. Claudia and Deana were very hard workers. Deana kept cleaning and kept the breakfast area really clean and well stocked. After having such a horrible time in Madison, thanks to your hotel and staff we are leaving with better memories than we thought we would. Having a variety of snacks to buy was such a wonderful idea but the hats were too pricey and one tide pod for 2 dollars is outrageous. Having a laundromat on-site was convenient. Whoever the owner is, I want to thank her for such a great team. We called late at night the previous night but the owner wouldn't check us in because she was tired when she answered the phone. So we decided to give it a second chance and I'm glad we did.

Excellent location to Yellowstone Park, walking distance to Main Street. The host couple is also super excellent to provide the best help to make you feel like home. Campground very clean that make you very relaxing when staying here. Definitely a must come back place to stay.

We were nervous when we read some of the reviews, but ultimately we just wanted full hookups near Yellowstone entrance.

The people running the park are very helpful. I saw them work hard and nearly around them clock for the 3 nights we were there. They helped us get parked and backed into our spot. I saw them several times around the park working on things and helping customers.

When making reservations, it’s important to be clear on the size of your spots and slides. As long as you do that, you should be fine.

While you will find the park in the heart of Yellowstone West town, you still get the “feel” of camping with beautiful tall trees. We were able to string up both our hammocks.

Yes. Some of the spots will require on street parking with your tow vehicle. But that’s not a huge deal at all. In fact, we actually kinda liked it (the street made it super easy to back into our spot). Plus it was nice not having to drive through an RV park at 5mph when we were coming and going. The street is nice and wide with no issues.

Downtown is flat and perfect for cyclists or weekend warrior runners. I was able to actually get some runs in- and not get crushed with inclines and declines. Additionally. Be sure to check out the shops in town.

Laundry was fine too. One of the dryers was the quickest drying dryers we’ve come across while RVing which is nice when you are paying to dry. Since we had full hookups, we didn’t use the shower house. But I peaked in there and wouldn't have had an issue.

Nice concrete patio included in our spot and plenty of shade so we never had to use our awning.

Location is everything. If you are not wanting to stay IN Yellowstone and want to stay in town with hookups. This is a great option.

You get what you paid for. It is Yellowstone and this is the only safe place with full hookups at affordable price in the area. I'd rather to fit in between the beautiful trees here at Wagon Wheel with all convenience West Yellowstone town provides than to get bumped by a bison or biten by thousand of bugs inside the park.

Couldn't be happier with our stay. The staff was always friendly and super accommodating. They went out of their way to do the best they could to accommodate the 3 trailers we had in our entourage. The park was kept very clean. All sites are full hook-up. There were plenty of trees to keep us cool in this hot summer. I would 100% stay there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful RV park at affordable price in Yellowstone. Thank you staff at Wagon Wheel RV & Campground. Comfortable stay. Very close to Yellowstone NP. Good WiFi for watching videos. Stayed in a RV for 2 nights. I had everything I need in the RV and got a new paper towel when I need to clean my bike. Hot shower and great host. Talk to the host if you have any questions. Highly recommend. Plus there is a very close gas station and many shops close by.

We needed a place to home base while visiting Yellowstone Park. This is just the spot, full hookups (30amp), trees and very quiet at night. There are showers and laundry. It's rustic (built in 1954) & tight quarters but everything works, at a good price comparatively. Let them know your full length before booking, they will do all they can to accommodate you (including trimming branches). Close to everything in town.

Owners are super helpful and pleasant. Park is clean, amenities basic but perfect if your here for yellowstone. 10 min walk to all areas of west yellowstone. Park and restaurant close by. Each site has power , water and sewage.

Special shout out to the owners who helped us out by printing some items we forgot to print before the trip. I offered to pay for the prints they kindly refused and printed them for us.

We stayed at Wagon Wheel RV Park. We found the park, clean and well kept. Great water pressure, 30 amp and 50 amp hook-ups, sewer connections and cable TV. The Wi-Fi is a little slow but still functioning to work with. We highly recommend this RV park and plenty of trees for shade. The park is quiet and the town of West Yellowstone is just a short walking distance.

The best service in the town. Better than what I expected. I booked a site one month ago, but I have to reschedule the date because of my work schedule. I called them and explained my situation, they changed the date for me and provide their best to meet my needs.

We stayed for a week in August and it was perfect for our needs. The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable and housekeeping was very attentive. We were able to park our car and walk to anything we wanted in town, very convenient. The entrance to the National Park was just a few blocks away. I read some criticism of the game room. It was dated but with so much to do in town, not an issue for us. I would stay there again.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Yellowstone NP. You could not find a better location. The RV park is right in the middle of West Yellowstone. Restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, gift shops.. are all right around the corner. Yellowstone Park entry is two blocks away. The owners are nice and friendly. Really enjoyed our staying here. It is a super busy RV park during the summer season so book earlier.

Just a quick overnight stay but wanted to recognize this RV park. Staff was incredibly friendly over the phone and even accommodated our late arrival. Right off HWY-20 to my surprise it didn't have the road noise throughout the night. Great value considering West Yellowstone is an expensive tourism town!!

Very basic older park. Staff that went above and beyond. Very caring and beyond helpful.
My cat disappeared after jumping out of the trailer. We could not find her anywhere and were forced to continue our journey. The clerk kept looking for her and agreed to keep her when she found her. However the cat when she peeked out 2.5 days later would not come to her. She fed her and watered her until we got back to West Yellowstone. Great customer service.

The only place with reasonable price in town. Quiet campground with great location. Host is great and very helpful. Beautiful trees a lot shades.

I stayed one night at Wagon Wheel at the very end of the season. My accomadations were warm and comfortable. Geronimo, the manager, was so kind and cared about my comfort and well being. I had a great experience at this campground. I will reserve a spot here next time I visit Yellowstone.

We stayed at RV park for a week, the location is very good, close to everything in the town. The RV park have a lots of trees, WiFi is very fast and very quiet at night time. The owner were very nice and friendly. I will recommend this place to the people who want RV travel to the Yellowstone National Park. Thank you very much!

Great little campground just outside yellowstone national park. It's a real gem! The owner was very nice and easy to work with. We pulled in with no reservations in the middle of summer and she got us a site with electric. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. Highly recommend if your in west yellowstone and need a campsite.

Stayed here two nights, nice and quiet and convenient. Close to all the restraunts in town and the park is an older west yellowstone rv park but nice. The folks that run it are very accommodating. I will return here.

This RV park is stunning, super clean!! Shower and bathroom was the cleanest we had ever visited!! We enjoyed it so much! Every site had shaded area and picnic table. We borrowed the BBQ grill while kids playing in the game room. Everything was perfect.
