The Stage Coach Inn is by far my favorite place to stay in West Yellowstone. We go almost every year in the winter to spend some days skiing the Rendezvous trails. The Stage Coach feels like home -- we enjoy curling up next to the fire in the evening with fellow adventurers and hearing about their experiences. The staff are always friendly and helpful and want to ensure you have a good stay. And the location is perfect for walking everywhere.

This was our 3rd year staying at this hotel. The beds are always nice, the front desk is always so friendly. This year Don at the front desk was a blast he always asked how our ride was and was full of information about things to do in town. This will always be our go to in West Yellowstone.

Great Hotel! The staff were very accommodating and it was nice to have a Continental breakfast. The hotel is pet friendly for $25/night and the price per night was very reasonable. We hope to come back again!

Stayed at The Stagecoach Inn in Salmon, Idaho. Very clean, nice firm beds. Which I needed and the staff was wonderful. Darian at the front desk was very kind and made us feel at home.

Great stay in West Yellowstone

Fantastic, clean little place with really good, accommodating staff. Staff even gave us recommendations on places to eat.

We stayed here one night and were planning to head up to Gardiner. But a snowstorm came in and turned us around before we could get to Mammoth Hot Springs. So, we headed back to West Yellowstone and The Stage Coach. They simply opened up our previous stay and put us right back in the same room.

Great place. Great staff. Can’t wait to come back and see them again!

Very good location close to Yellowstone NP. The hotel was old style in a quite charming way. We really liked the “Wild animal theme” in the rooms and the beautyful lobby. Rooms were cozy, clean and quiet. We would recommend the hotel and would like to stay here again if we come back to explore Yellowstone

A beautiful old time hotel with generous hospitality, a cozy
large sitting area with a fire and many taxidermy animals from the past. Atmosphere very nostalgic as is the service, in the best possible way. Very friendly. Beds comfortable and shower good and hot. Everything we could wish for in a great little town.Pi ty we had to move on.
THANK YOU

Charming, old fashioned heritage hotel located close to Yellowstone Park. Small but comfy rooms. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Lovely lounge room with fireplace. Breakfast was pretty basic. No fresh fruit or peanut butter Ha! but simple for those wanting a quick breakfast. Pool and sauna are a plus.

Stage Coach Inn is an awesome place to stay. You are very close to the west entrance and it’s an easy drive. Was there from Saturday to Saturday the staff is knowledgeable about the area and makes great recommendations for dinner. Mark the GM is a wonderful person to chat with about the area. The restaurants in town are mostly family owned and offer a wide variety of meal selection. Can’t say enough about this hotel and the area it is located in.

They are one of very few in this town with a night person working. We came in very late and needed a place to crash for a few hours before heading to Yellowstone. Most hotels in this town were closed or had nobody working late night. So I was very appreciative that they were open and had vacancy. The staff was hospitable and accommodating, from the night person to the daytime personnel was very friendly… The room was on the smaller side, but we made it work. Also, I was glad that the room didn’t stink like our previous hotel a few days earlier. Other than that, it was a quick in and out.

I enjoyed my stay here while visiting Yellowstone National Park. The location is terrific with easy walking access to restaurants, shops, the park, and all of town. Our room was clean, with some wear and tear to carpet in one spot. Importantly, the room did not have a smell of any kind that we noticed - I almost always notice odors when I travel, and there were none to be noted.
The lobby is a nice place to hang out and meet other travelers or play one of the games on the shelf.
Front desk hosts are really great!
I only wished for some free weights in the weight room. I got so much walking in while hiking in YNP that I really didn't want to walk on the treadmill or use the elliptical, but I missed lifting. There is a machine that could be used, but I just prefer weights - it's a small thing.
Breakfast is a continental style. It 8ncluded hard boiled eggs, yogurt, pastries, waffle makings, other bread like bagels and muffins, and instant oatmeal.
We would stay here again for sure.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town and very close to the western gate of Yellowstone national park.

Rooms.are.a little dated. Bathroom fixtures especially the shower heads are in bad shape. Need to have those updated / replaced.

Acceptable amenities in the room.

Service was very nice friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast is very simple and continental.

very nice hotel, most conveniently located, and ideal if you are planning to explore yellowstone Park for multiple days! located less than half a mile away from the west entrance. and there are excellent restaurants, bars, cafés, gift shops, grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacy... in walking distance from hotel.

when we were planning our trip, first we were thinking of staying at lodges located inside the park. but glad we did not for many reasons!

hotel staff is excellent, descent breakfast.

and Hunter at the front desk is a very nice and friendly guy! he is a good resource for local info and park details.

Very clean! Spacious! We missed breakfast because the website said it ended at 10, but it actually ended at 9. We were there during the week, so perhaps they closed it early? We did get a knock around 7:30am citing room service, I didn't put the do not disturb sign out the night before, as I didn't think they would be coming around that early. Aside from that, it was great.

Great hotel and location for our needs. Clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend. Brenda on the front desk was great!

Only gave 4 stars for the room as cleaning could have been a little better.

We stayed 3 nights here and were very satisfied. Staff was courteous and accommodating, room was cleaned every day, bed was comfortable, breakfast selection was varied, and the lobby has this very nice old western feel. Some facilities/amenities we didn’t use but observed - pet friendly, sauna, pool, board games, computers. It’s a great spot if you want to explore Yellowstone National Park for a few days. Our king bedroom was a little tight with all their furniture and the bathroom had little space to move around, but these are really minor inconveniences since we were only in our room to eat and sleep.

We booked this place for our first visit to Yellowstone National Park. The room was spacious the TV worked. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was a proper breakfast lots of choices. The main lobby is beautiful the taxidermy animals are cool. The place is unique and screams Montana.

Definitely will be staying here again on our next visit.

After running into some troubles checking into a vacation rental I had booked for my boyfriend and I to celebrate his birthday weekend, I booked a last-minute stay at the Stage Coach Inn through Expedia. After we had confirmed the reservation, on Expedia it said our check in time was for the following day, when we had made the reservation for that night at 1am. I was about to cancel it, but it showed on Expedia that a cancellation would be non-refundable. I called the hotel and spoke with Barbara. She was so kind and told me that I could meet her at the hotel to check in and she would get us taken care of. She was somehow able to fix this glitch we experienced with Expedia's app. Before Barbara came to save the day, I was a hot mess. I was having a mental breakdown crying because I thought we got screwed out on our accommodations twice in one night. She was such a compassionate woman, who helped to put my mind at ease and get me back into 'vacation mode'. She was a saving grace during this difficult moment. The hotel itself had a lot of character, and was overall a great value for the price, in comparison to other accommodations in the area. The continental breakfast had a wide variety of different options. The rooms were very vintage looking, but clean and cozy. The hotel is in a prime location of West Yellowstone. I was left with a great first impression, and next time I vacation to Yellowstone, the Stage Coach Inn will be my first choice!!
