I must commend the exceptional hospitality extended by Desiree, the host at Best Western Desert Inn. Her warm welcome and genuine smile immediately set the tone for my stay. Not only was she incredibly personable, but her extensive knowledge of the local area proved invaluable. Desiree went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and enjoyment, offering insightful recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options. Beware, though, as you may find it hard to tear yourself away from Desiree; her infectious personality and humor are truly captivating!

The accommodations at Best Western Desert Inn surpassed my expectations. The room was spacious, beds and pillow comfortable and impeccably clean, and adorned with tasteful decor, providing a tranquil haven after a day of exploration. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the microwave and fridge, which added convenience to my stay. The meticulous attention to detail, including the pristine ironing board and iron, underscored the hotel's dedication to guest satisfaction.

Strategically situated within walking distance of shops and restaurants, Best Western Desert Inn offers easy access to all that West Yellowstone has to offer. Whether indulging in a hearty meal or seeking out souvenirs, everything I needed was just a stone's throw away from the hotel.

One of the nicest Best Western's I've stayed in. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Everything in town was walking distance. Only stayed a night, but if visiting the park again, Desert Inn would be a great spot for an extended stay.

Excellent service (staff) and morning continental (hot) breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious.
Desiree and Amanda at the front desk have exceptional customer service skills and were polite, helpful and friendly. For the price this place is the best in town, hands down. Good location access for the western side of yellowstone park.

I had a great experience here! Breakfast was delicious, they have jalapeño peppers and my mom loves it! It’s very close to Yellow stone West gate. Breakfast Staff are nice and helpful. Room is average size but given it’s location I’d say it’s pretty neat. Front desk service is quick and informative. They also have a pool but I didn’t have a chance to try it. Parking lot is sufficient. Nothing to complain about the hotel. The only downside is every morning someone is playing their motorcycle outside and it was kinda loud and keep waking us up.

Loved this place. Service at front desk and breakfast was lovely; attentive and friendly. Room in the annex at the back was spacious and silent. Entrance to the park is 5 to 10 mins but Madison junction is a bit further.
West Yellowstone is small and almost everything can be easily reached by walking.

Byfar, the best breakfast at a hotel we had during our many travels. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We even spent 2 nights here as we explored Yellowstone Park for an extra day. Also add helpful on suggestions of restaurants to eat at during our stay.

We spent 5 nights at this location for our trip to Yellowstone. This hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable. The room was very nice and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was a great option and they have hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate available at all times! Plus it’s a prime location.

This location was absolutely incredible. We had been working in the area and stayed at a different hotel that turned out to be a nightmare. Booked this hotel for the night to just try and get some sleep. Once we got there we realized that we had hit the jackpot. Management was absolutely incredible, staff was phenomenal. We even locked ourselves out of the room and they came up and helped us immediately. Treated us incredibly well. Rooms were insanely clean, bathrooms were great. Hot water was absolutely amazing. That may sound a little crazy but the location we were in didn’t have any of that. Breakfast in the morning was second to none. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, the array of choices was incredible. If you are in this area, do not miss the opportunity to come here, get a great nights sleep and an amazing breakfast the next day. Oh and did I mention that the staff and management was absolutely incredible?!!! They absolutely were!!!

So we booked snowmobiling through Yellowstone Adventures and this is the hotel we stayed in for the weekend. Bow at the front desk was really nice and very kind. He was very helpful and got us all set up for our room on the 3rd floor plus he made us feel welcomed. We stayed the weekend here and really enjoyed it. Our room was clean, comfortable and affordable. Spent one night going to the buffalo and the other night at the slippery otter. The breakfast was nice, it's been a while since I sat and had a hot breakfast at a hotel but enjoyed it. Loved the apple juice and orange juice for breakfast as always. Thank you for your hospitality, I would stay here again in West Yellowstone

Best thing about this place is customer service and breakfast. Their breakfast options are by far the best I’ve seen lately. And the place is just a couple miles away from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

Desireé was absolutely amazing. Super friendly, very helpful as well. Gave us a great dinner recommendation, and you can tell she cares and enjoys her work. Very thorough in telling us all the amenities you have to offer.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had an oversized double queen room, it felt so open and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked well, even though it was a larger room. The staff were friendly and helpful, even gave us restaurant recommendations. The location couldn’t be beat. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. The pool and the hot tub provided a nice end to our days. Only thing is to watch your step as you get into the pool as the stairs are very slippery. This will definitely be our go to place when we return to West Yellowstone!

Glad I chose this hotel when looking for places to stay before our vacation. Awesome location just a few minutes from Yellowstone's west entrance. Walking distance to several restaurants and convenience stores. They still do a good got breakfast during COVID. Buffet style with gloves provided for you to serve yourself. Each day was French toast, sausage, eggs and potatoes for the hot options. They also had yogurt, fruit cups and a variety of cereal for grab and go and cold options. Beds are pretty comfortable and it's been pretty quiet despite the hotel being full. I liked being sent the pre check in option the day before our arrival and that I was able to choose to be on the 3rd floor, so definitely worth booking early. There is also express check out so you don't have to worry about an extra stop at the front desk when you leave. Property and room is clean and the front desk staff have been nice. Would stay again.

OMG. We booked a complicated stay at BW Desert Inn for a family of 5 adults. We were here last year just the wife and I visiting Yellowstone NP and enjoyed our stay very much. This year we are coming back with more family members. This stay is in need of specific needs that the online booking was not able to help with. We called the hotel and Amanda was awesome to help us getting the rooms that we needed. Thank you Amanda. You made us feel special for attending to our needs. God Bless.

This hotel is in a prime location and just 5 min drive from Yellowstone park -West entrance. The parking lot in the main entrance is pretty full but there are additional lots at the back. They have an indoor swimming pool and the safety measures are enforced everywhere, they serve pretty good hot breakfast with lots of options and it comes with great safety measures. Special kudos to the breakfast setting up team, they are very prompt and attentive. They provide you with high quality hand gloves. The room is good enough size and all the amenities are good, baby crib is provided if needed.Wifi has better signal. Overall a nice and clean and good hotel for extended stay.

Staff was super friendly. Our room was nice and clean when we got there and cleaned during our stay. This hotel is nice and close to the west entrance of Yellowstone. Additionally it is close to 2 bars that were very nice and had food late at night. Will definitely come back for future visits.

My family and I stayed here on our Yellowstone Vacation. Every aspect from the time we arrived till our departure was a great experience. We didn't go down for breakfast so cannot comment on that however based on the quality of service provided to my family, I'm sure it was good. The room was clean and comfortable. Well within walking distance to several restaurants and gift shops. The only improvement I would recommend is the parking lot was small and had to park in the mud lot next door. I will definitely stay here again.

Extremely helpful staff. Clean nice rooms. Absolutely amazing breakfast. Excellent location for seasonal Yellowstone West Entrance entry. We were there in the off season when only the North Entrance was available, but this was a great stop to sleep and eat well before continuing on our journey to Big Sky Montana and the North part of Yellowstone which is open all year and beautiful and uncrowded in the winter.

At first I was sticker shocked but then kids had a blast room is huge with everything you could ask for. The breakfast is worth the price wow would definitely stay again
