We needed hockey gear for our 4 year old and had no idea what we needed or anything. From the moment we got there the store was busy but an employee (receipt says “MEH”) did a fantastic job between helping us, running back to the counter to check other patrons out, and ensuring we got what we needed. As a business owner myself this is the EXACT type of employee I could only dream of. A++!

Stopped in today to buy some football equipment for our 11 year-old. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were in and out in about 15-20 minutes. He knew exactly what he had in inventory and quickly grabbed a few options of each item we needed. Helped our kid try each item on to make sure we found a good fit. Very well organized and plenty of quality new and used equipment in stock to choose from.

We were on our way to US Bank stadium today and our son called us from the bus saying he was missing one of his cleats. We are from New London so we called and this awesome employee named Jeremy helped us out. He had a number of different cleats waiting for us when we got there. So helpful and relieved the stress. We are forever grateful!!

Must be new owner since I was in last year. The last owner was extremely rude!!!! Me and my son were dreading going in there to look at football gear this year. To our surprise we were greeted by a very nice and helpful gentleman......he really took his time helping us find what we were looking for and what he didn't have he took down my number to call around for us. Very impressed and highly recommend them!!!

There was an issue with a couple products I was interested in that happened to be mislabeled & mispriced. I brought it up because I wanted to buy the products. The guy working at the time checked up on it and Verified that something wasn't right. He was very reasonable and helpful. I ended up getting the products I was interested in at a fair price. I'll definitely be coming back in the future!

I got skates as a gift but they were too big, they helped me find ones that fit and sharpened them. They helped me find a hockey stick that's the right size for me as well. Great service, super pleasent and helpful! Definitely will be going back.

The owner helped me get ski & snowboarding gear for my kids. Very friendly & helpful, not pushy. I would definitely recommend this location.

Store is now located in the old Hallmark building. It is bigger and very organized. The owner was very nice and helpful. New and used stuff available.

They have everything you could every need for your sporting needs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff when you walk in the door. I would highly recommend visiting Play It Again Sports in Buffalo, MN.

I took my son here to get a hockey stick and 2 pucks. The 2 very nice young men helped size the right stick and made sure he could handle it properly. They even hit a ball back and forth. I've never had such great customer service! If you need sports equipment of any kind come here for a good deal too.

Original post: This Buffalo store will not accommodate those who want to purchase at the doorway due to COVID choices. On the phone before I arrived, they said they could do so, but when I actually arrived, they said no. I knew what I wanted and they had put my name on it inside after my phone call. I have purchased successfully from this store before, and think it is important to shop locally. But businesses should try to assist customers who are still trying to patronize them during COVID.

GOOD UPDATE, one week later: I am glad to report that the store reached out to me and has addressed the situation by speaking to its employees. I have every reason to believe that no one else will encounter this trouble. I was able to make my purchase at the door, and I thank this long-time and popular local business for "making it right", not just for me, but for everyone.

Absolutely the best! Al and family have helped my family for years. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Honest. Anyone who accidentally overcharges me, unbeknownst to me and gives me a $20 bill months later when I returned definitely has integrity and my respect.

These guys rock. It must be a franchise because the boss takes great pride in his shop. He and the staff have been very very helpful, informative, and guided me in the right direction for hockey equipment and golf equipment. One of them even showed us how to tape the hockey stick. My son loves this place too! It's the place to go in Buffalo for used and new equipment and even if you aren't too familiar with a sport. These guys rock!
