Greenbrier Shop At Tamarack

I stop by to this gift shop from Houston, Texas. What an amazing place along with food court option. Also, what added the experience amazing was the conversation with Mr. Bernie, who stated to work here in 1996. He share his travel experiences and the history of this place. Amazing experience and bought many Souvenirs especially the coal miners stuff and naturally preserve honey.

I loved being able to purchase local artisan goods all in one place! They have things ranging from under a dollar to literally over a thousand so you are sure to find something you want at a price point you can live with! I ended up with some leather work, jewelry, and art prints!

This place has a lot of local arts and crafts that are of professional quality. There are many sculptures, carvings, paintings, blown glass products, and much more. I'm a truck driver and just wondered in and was pleasantly surprised at what this place has to offer. Lots of unique gifts and it even has a restaurant/grill.

The arts and crafts are interesting to look at. Blinko Glass is interesting to browse through. Many items made out of coal; for example coal people, coal accesories, etc... Book store is under-rated, many local authors with unique insight to West Virginia history and lore.

Always a stop whenever we travel I-77.

Big and nice

Some beautiful artwork, but mostly very overpriced. Even pottery was double what we pay at local art fairs. Still, this is a nice place to stop and browse when you need a break from the road.

Excellent selection of products from numerous vendors and artists. A definite place to stop and shop.

The Greenbrier restaurant has always been our favorite restaurant for lunch when traveling thru WVa. After yesterday’s (6-5-23) very disappointing dinning experience it is now on our DO NOT STOP list. My wife had a vegetable plate that included a corn bread muffin that was aged longer than a good bourbon and a bowl of semi warm water, poorly camouflage as soup. My equally bad white bean soup was also semi warm and watered down beyond recognition. Unfortunately customers can no longer view the food prior to purchasing it. The absence of palatable food is apparently why the restaurant HIDES it from a customer’s view. 1 star only because O isn’t a option.
