Asian Food Store

This is the very best Asian food store in Rochester, Minnesota. We found our favorite rices (we keep four varieties in our home), along with some special items you can not normally find. There is something special for everyone from Asia, no matter what culture. Today, I bought Ponzu with lemon flavor and Natto. There is a huge selection of candies and sweets, both frozen and fresh fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a massive selection of frozen foods and canned. There is an entire room dedicated to rice alone! Is there a chance you can't find what you are looking for? Ask them, and they can order it. BTW, they have fresh ginger on hand!!

I love this place. The owner is so nice, kind and helpful! The staff are also great. I love finding some of my Japanese foods and ingredients here. It is probably the store with the most Japanese food items in Rochester. I highly recommend!

Friendly service and a great selection!

We LOVE the Asian Food Store! This place has so many unique and lovely bits of food that are essential to home cooking; we love the frozen Ramen, baby bok choi, candy, soup bases, fresh noodles, and everything in between. Spectacular food starts here!

What a nice store! They've pretty much got all the essentials you need: rice, noodles, dried mushrooms, fresh mushrooms, seafood, seasonings, packaged ramen, tofu, etc. They've got all the snacks you could think of too! The folks in there were very friendly, and I'll definitely be coming back!

This is one of the best places in Rochester to get fresh fruit and veggies, spices, and snacks. Their produce looks like it is grown locally and the cost can't be beat (ex. $3 for 10-12 baby boy choy). Plus, the staff will answer your questions on anything. They helped me find schezuan peppercorns and recommended a specific brand, and I wanted the best brand of noodle for fresh spring rolls and they pointed me in the right direction. Highly recommend.
Update March 2022: Prices increased a bit but with inflation I understand. All produce besides exotic fruits are grown by the family. Don't buy pea pods, bok choy, or mushrooms anywhere else!

i love coming here to buy snacks and foods from here, they have a lot of foods i always wished to try, mochi, buldak ramen, shin ramen, cool korean/ japanese snacks, and other foods such as Tteokbokki, Ogori Mushrooms, and i just love going there and seeing the huge variety of foods

This has become 1 of my 4 favorite grocery stores in Rochester. Today, I spent more going down all of the aisles. They have things here I have trouble finding elsewhere and most of their prices are fantastic. Also, it's a great place for mushrooms. And the people who work here are so friendly. These are just some of the goodies I picked up today. I will be making some dim sum in the future!

very quaint store, with many odds and ends. varied selection and good prices. a $5 bowl here would cost $10 at target.

Here's a great neighborhood authentic store for all your Asian food desires with very low prices and lots of smiling faces.
I highly recommend if your looking for authentic Asian foods. They are very accommodating if you can't find what your looking for and they will find it and get it into their store for you. There is off-street parking as well.

This is a gem of a grocer in Rochester. So much fresh produce at great prices. Friendly, helpful service. Don’t forget to grab some freshly made spring rolls!

Of all the Asian stores in Rochester, this is the one I prefer. The store is very clean and organized, so it's easy to find what I need. The produce is fresh, and there's a wide variety of groceries. I especially enjoy the cooked food. My family tried the fried fish and roasted chicken. Both were delicious! This is definitely my go-to store for my Asian grocery needs
