Sunny Street Café

This place was great! Wonderful service all the ladies were nice, even though busy, the food was fantastic and up rather fast. The chicken and waffles were great! And the Sunny's hot sauce with it was awesome! Can't wait to visit again! Hubby got the chorizo breakfast burrito with hashbrowns with cheese and onion, was really good too!

Great food at a great price… and recently improved !!! Friendly wait staff. I especially enjoyed their Eggs Benedict. And they now serve grits too. Their pumpkin pancakes are amazing, but only available in the fall; and I don’t even like pumpkin stuff.

I went with my family for brunch today and we had a great time. We thought we would had to wait in line, but we didn’t; the place was busy, but it is bigger than it seems and there was a table available right away. We liked the Fall decoration and the coziness; we immediately fell comfortable. The service was very efficient and kind; my parents, who are visiting from Colombia, were able to talk in Spanish with several people from the staff. They are efficient and friendly. All the food we ordered was delicious. I rarely order a breakfast skillet because it is usually greasy, but I followed Dolores’ recommendation and I really liked it. My husband makes great biscuits and gravy, so he doesn’t usually order it because it’s usually a disappointment, but he really liked this one. We tried two smoothies and were delicious; real fruit and not too sweet. My favorite was the Spinach, Banana, and Pineapple. We were also very pleased with the hot sauce, made in house, please try it if you like to add spicy to your food! We will definitely come back, and we are grateful for such a nice family brunch in this rainy, autumn day. We highly recommend it. A good meal makes any day sunny ☀.

We hosted our monthly Jazz Brunch and Sunny Street did a wonderful job. Folks loved the delicious food! Service and working with their team was easy and enjoyable!

I got the Big Bite Breakfast and it was SOOO good! I have never seen eggs cooked so perfect—egg whites fully cooked with the yolk still liquid! On top of that, the service provided is unmatched by any local Café. The servers were extremely kind, and the food was made promptly, and with tons of quality. The owners of this Café are the most involved I have ever seen; they actually work here almost everyday to make sure it runs smoothly. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.

Best breakfast cafe. Good menu with healthier options. Very warm welcoming servers. Neat and clean area. Affordable prices. Less options for vegetarians who don’t even eat egg however I believe we can customize the order. The servicing tools are so cute to use like when ordered oatmeal the milk in which it is served is like a baby feel, loved it!:)

Editing to add a second review: I went two mornings in a row just because this place was so good and I wanted to try something else off of their menu. This time I got the Loaded Hashbrowns, asked for the gravy on the side, and an order of bacon. Sooo good, everything I would expect out of Loaded Hashbrowns. had the same server as yesterday and she was just as friendly as before, and even asked about something she remembered I had mentioned yesterday. I’ll be back the next time I’m in town!! I love breakfast food so thanks Sunny Street!!

First time customer - DELICIOUS - I had the Sunny’s Skillet with sourdough toast instead of corn tortillas, a side of sausage gravy and hot chocolate. I cleaned my plate, which was hard because it was decent portion! Chorizo is always a welcome treat (the dish had a little kick to it from the jalapeño but a bit of ice water was all that was needed to cool things down!). What a perfect breakfast to warm me up on a cold, rainy early Spring morning when you are just so mad at the cold lingering around!! Service was friendly!

Delicious food and cozy environment. Unlimited choices on the menu for all types of food restrictions. I don’t do gluten free, but the gluten free menu has a lot of choices. The server was friendly and made the experience unique for the kids.

I wanted to share more photos of food but I ate alone. So excuse the water cups. At least it’s in a fancy jar. But it’s just water, it’s not like drinking from a jar makes the water taste any better, or does it? I think it does. That Jar looks of high quality. I bet if you drop it, it won’t break. I wonder how the lid would look like. Maybe they can offer the lid for aesthetics. But I’ll tell you what, that orange juice slaps.

We had a nice breakfast here. Waitress was nice. Food was served quickly which was impressive.

Sick of the franchises? Eat here! Natalie was wonderful. She said words like "Warm-up your coffee", and we tried our first scan and pay. Food was very delicious and presentation was excellent.

Great breakfast spot. The waitresses really get to know you, your likes and dislikes, and your favorite order. We love the pumpkin pancakes which are usually only available in the fall. The Sunny Street Benedict is a treat, especially want to avoid salty ham, which is replaced with baby spinach leaves. The breakfast quesadilla is large enough to feed two, which my wife and I occasionally split. They also have occasional specials like cheddar bacon cornbread pancakes. And for a northern restaurant, their grits are pretty darn good. While there are other Sunny Street locations, and they are very good, this one owned by Ash and Kate is the best.

Crowded on a Sunday afternoon, but excellent friendly service. Lots of good things to choose from on their limited menu! Prices are very reasonable too.

I tried Sunny Street Cafe while visiting the area based on a recommendation, and, it was definitely worth it. Their was a short wait, but the service was superb and the food tasted great. Certainly better than visiting a chain restaurant, and, at reasonable prices. Make certain to check out their local treats at check out, they are amazing.

Went to breakfast here with my mom and the food was great like always! 😊😍 I love eating here!

My wife and I went here for breakfast. Ordered the hearty breakfast with pancakes, 2 over easy eggs, link sausage, fresh fruit, coffee and tomato juice. The food was very delicious and filling.
The service was very good even though they were very busy.
Highly recommended.

Love the brunch menu! Food and service is good. Smoothies are worth trying. Don't forget to try their wheat pancakes. Yummy!
