Plato's Closet Roswell

I went in for the first time yesterday and asked the store associate how I could sell some clothes to the store. She was very helpful and nice in explaining the process to me. She also recommended following the instagram page to see any daily updates for the store. Walking around the store I was very excited to see so many of my favorite brands there and am excited to come back and shop again.

This Plato's Closet location is my go-to! Smooth selling process for my clothes every time. And I always leave with something new—I love that! 5 stars for their fantastic service and great finds.

I went to this location yesterday (9/25) after being low-balled at the Sandy Springs location on 9/24 and the first person I encountered upon walking in was the "middle aged blonde white lady" that I've seen referred to in many of the negative reviews. She greeted me and I asked her if she works there. She said yes (still very friendly) and I ask if they are buying because I don't want to haul all my stuff in for no reason. She tells me they are buying but ask that all items be in reusable containers because trash bags sometimes rip, items get mixed up, and she would not want clothes that need to be picked up to get mixed up with items they are having to donate. She suggested I go to Kroger and get some of their reusable totes, but I said I was going to Walmart. I did, but I didn't want to spend $25+ on what I would need to be able to hold all my items. I just went back home and put my things in containers I already own.

I returned today, was greeted at the door from a very nice young lady who was behind the counter, and again I asked if they were buying. They were, so I brought my stuff in, checked in, and left. I continued to check the status, but it was getting later in the evening so I just drove to the store. I was told that my items were being worked on and it would be another 30 minutes. When my items were ready, I was offered a satisfactory amount of money. Everyone was kind and I was not low-balled so I will always come back to this location to sell.

I’ve been coming here for years since their old location! Love this location! The manger Jess and her team are always soo helpful, friendly, and respectful! This is my go to Plato’s in GA! Thank you guys!

I don’t have a review yet to share, however Im looking to sell some items (brand new ) so I’m hoping my experience be a pleasant one , and I receive a decent amount for my items easy Peasy lemon squeezy lol 😆 😂

I’m not normally one to leave reviews, good or bad, but after seeing so much negativity in these reviews I wanted to share my very positive experience. I dropped off two laundry baskets full of clothes and shoes on a Friday after checking instagram for their updated buying hours for the day. When I got there, they clearly had already had a lot of people come to drop off items. I got checked-in and the woman behind the counter told me it would be ready for pick up tomorrow and that I would get a text when it was ready. I got the text on Saturday while I was at work 25 miles away and was not going to be off until 10pm. They informed me in the text that if I did not pick up by the end of the day I risked having my passes donated and my cash turned to store credit. This is pretty standard policy for Plato’s. I was pretty panicked because I really needed the cash for some bills. The next day was Mother’s Day which they were closed for so on Monday morning I made the drive to get there when they opened in hopes of still being able to get the cash for my items. There was a younger looking guy working by himself it appeared and he told me he was still able to offer me the cash since they had been closed the day before. He also asked if I wanted to take my passes back or donate them and I said I would take them. To my surprise, they wanted all of my items except for one which I would have donated if I had known. It was definitely stressful considering how badly I needed this cash but I stayed calm and positive. You can tell the people in this store are overwhelmed and overworked and just trying to do their best. I know not everyone will have a similar experience as mine but I’m very thankful for the experience I had and please remember to be kind to those who show up.

I stopped in to trade out some clothes right before closing time. The owner Jessica was welcoming, gracious, and patient. Not only that, but with just a short visit it was plain to see that some excellent decisions being made for the clothing and merchandise. I can’t wait to get back when I have more time. Thank you Jessica for maintaining beyond what is expected from Plato’s Closet!

I am an avid Plato’s closet seller and I drive all the way from midtown to go to this store! Seriously best customer service out of all the Plato’s closets in the atlanta area. Please ignore all previous bad reviews. Special shout-out to Josslyn and Caroline for going above and beyond to make my experience so great.

This place is so amazing and such a fun place to spend your time digging through things! Come here everytime im back from college!

Best Plato’s Ever. They always have a wide selection of clothing and are super active on social media letting people know when they have new clothing events/sales! The owner Jess is the sweetest!!!! Only place I sell my clothes to. 🫶🏻 And all the staff is super friendly!

Plato's closet Roswell always has great items at really low prices. They are super active on social media which I really like (sneak peaks at new drops and responsive to any questions asked). I would definitely recommended checking them out if you like fashion at affordable prices!

Just needed to share the really great experience I had there! You have a very hardworking owner, that's hands on, named Jessica, that truly must love people! She's patient, effective with communicating directions, and super efficient when you're trying to sell. I've sold twice here and its only gotten better each time. Great customer service and a large variety of clothes

The staff here is extremely helpful unlike most stores. I’ve found that stores at the mall or bigger stores tend to not let me try on dresses, and skirts, or other items. I shop at Plato’s because I know I can try on what I want and not be judged. Jessica the owner has set this store up and has taught her staff the right way I will continue to support this Plato’s due to the hard work and the dedication the owner and the staff have to maintaining the store and the relationship with customers!
