NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Dental Services

I just had an incredibly good experience with walk-in emergency dental. I honestly don’t understand what the negative reviews are about. I arrived at 7:30 AM on a Friday, so I was the first to be seen. But really, the second person came right at 8:00 and when I left at 9:00 there were only 2 people waiting. Maybe I just got lucky. The check in staff were friendly. After filling out the intake forms, I was seen within 10 minutes. The woman who took my vitals was so friendly. The dentist I saw was amazing. I’m so afraid of the dentist but she completely put me at ease, explained everything she was going to do, and explained everything they found that would need to be done. She even warned me about how long it might take to get the appointments and an estimate of out-of-pocket costs through a private practice, and just really cared all around. I would give them 10 stars if I could. That’s really impressive for a teaching hospital that sees patients on Medicaid. Highly recommended.
