Pepper Palace

Bradley was very helpful and took his time to explain to us all of the different types of BBQ sauce and Hot Sauce. He even explained to us about Scoville’s and of course we asked about Flat Line but have no interest in getting that for ourselves although it was great to hear of the different peppers being used. Although it is off season and the store could’ve closed early due to lack of foot traffic, it was great to have Bradley great us with a smile on his face and treating my family as if we were his family! Thanks Bradley, we went back to our place and cooked up some steak with the 3 different BBQ sauces we purchased and we all love Mountain Q Select Bourbon BBQ Sauce the most! Thanks again!!!!

Montana was very helpful and informative when it came to recommending different hot sauces, spices, and salsas. He even made sure we got the buy several get several free also. We will definitely be going back again the next time we visit Gatlinburg.

Awesome little place with so much selection. The guy working was really nice and let us try a few sauces.

I did not have high hopes when I first walked in, but I'm am pleased that I did. We were greeted immediately and the worker was very detailed in explaining how the taste testing worked. The other gentleman, I assume he was the manager, is a great salesman. He walked us around and around pouring samples into our spoons, showing us how to mix a few to get new flavors and listened carefully to what I asked for in terms of flavor. We left with a pepper rub and a honey garlic sauce that I cannot wait to cook with! Highly recommend this store for the service and the variety. If you love heat, they've got just about every variation of it from sweet heat to smack ya mama hot!

I can’t remember the name of the man who helped us, but he was knowledgeable, helped us with samples, and shared some history with us about Pepper Palace. The sauces were GREAT and we bought a few bottles to bring back home with us to Florida. You MUST go there, and support local!

Montana was so incredibly helpful! He helped me to get a gift for my husband and took time out to make sure I was well taken care of. You can taste each item to make sure it's right for you, which I loved. It really helped the experience. I've never been to Pepper Palace but I will gladly go back! I really enjoyed being in the store and did not feel like a bother even though I had a lot of questions. Thanks Montana!!

My husband has an obsession with hot sauce. We came here while on vacation so he could get some hot sauce to add to his collection. The guys here are super nice and friendly. They talked to us, asked questions, and gave recommendations. We left spending more money than intended. You can tell the guys at this store care about their customers and genuinely enjoy working here - a rare quality today!

I can't say enough good about the Ober Gatlinburg location AND THE AMAZING sauces. Upon entering we were warmly greeted by the manager (sorry forgot your name dude) He was AMAZING. He had a back story for many of the sauces, and stayed with us, listening to what we would like, and took us to that part of the store for SAMPLES! hot, mild, smokey, fruity... They had it all. He recommended a blueberry barbeque sauce (Eww, right?) but it was AMAZING. We bought that, plus several other varieties. It was interesting that Pepper Palace makes ALL their own sauces! The great customer service plus being able to taste before you buy sold us! Great shopping experience. I would definitely recommend Pepper Palace to any hot sauce aficionado!

Awesome selection of hot stuff. The lady working there was knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy a lot of product they sell. Being able to sample all those hot sauces and salsas was great. We spent more money than we should have there, but for some good, spicy stuff to take home. I'd definitely visit this place again.

They have a great selection of sauces. There were so many kinds that sounded good but I had never tried them before. Being able to sample them was a bonus because it alleviated wasting money on something we wouldn’t like. The staff goes above and beyond to help you. We will definitely stop back.

If you love hot sauce or anything spicy this is the place you should explore! Free tastings and you get to learn about the history of hot sauce and is a over all fun time!

Visited the Pepper Place this past weekend at the Ober Gatlinburg shops. The variety of choices was amazing along with Michael being freakin amazing. He taught us so much. We will be ordering from The Pepper Place again. Michael, keep up the good work all the way from Florida!

This place is awesome! Brad is incredibly helpful,, he makes great recommendations, and you can sample everything. All of the products are made locally. You will have a hard time choosing what to get!

Loads of medium to hot to crazy hot sauces! Good selection but not really for the meek.

They were very friendly and helpful. The workers were stocking the shelves but took time to help us.

This location had a cool museum in it as well.

Excellent service and delicious flavors!
