This is an awesome store great crew very friendly very helpful. They pointed of me to exactly what I needed on multiple items and you don’t get that kind of customer service anymore. Choose this hardware store over Home Depot any day.

Excellent customer service and had what I needed

In my experience, its better if you dont try to figure out what you might need for a project or how to fix a problem and just come in and ask them what to do. They will tell you. They are always right. And despite the small size of this place, I have never gone in there for something that i was afraid they might not have and walked away empty-handed. They dont sell BS and have many of the REAL tools and chemicals that get the job done that the big box stores dont stock. Its not a lifestyle store. It IS a Hardware Store. Frankly, i would have to question the character of anyone that has the nerve to say anything bad about Cahaba Heights Hardware.

Old school, locally owned, and open since 1948. What’s not to love?! Every single time I go there’s somebody that knows what they’re doing to help me with what I need help with. I’m thankful to have a place like this in my community!

I couldn’t be happier with my first time in to this store! I was immediately greeted and asked if they could help me. I got everything I needed there and more that I forgot I needed. I was even given helpful suggestions on how best to use one of the products I bought. I won’t be going to the big box store anymore. I am so pleased I walked in today and will be supporting this local store for all my hardware needs.

They were super helpful and even gave me good advice for my project. Doors were held open for me and it was a quaint little spot. Prices were quite reasonable and comparable to bigger stores :)

When "Big Box Stores" do not have it, this store will. I learned years ago, that this little store packs a lot of things that you cannot get at the other stores. My parents have been without power and will be for awhile and they were the only place with 4 prong 240 plug adapters that we needed for the generators we were able to score. Mr. Buddy knows his stuff! Thanks!

I'm glad a place like this exists. I feel so ignored and overlooked at the bigger home and hardware stores. These guys were attentive, listened to what I was looking for, and were extremely helpful. They walked me to my car (I had more than I could carry), and they were friendly. I'll be back for every possible thing I'd never need from a hardware store. Customer for life!

The best hardware store in the entire Birmingham metroplex. The employees are problem solvers. They are courteous and knowledgeable. It is a small well run local business. I will go out of my way to continue doing business with these fabulous folks.
