The Taquiera connected to the supermarket is so good. Came here in my lunch break! Wow.

Been going to the Taqueria for years. Little bit pricey, but food is tasty, fresh and consistent.
The workers are respectful and helpful and make sure they are making the food the way you want.
My go to place for burritosb can't go wrong with the quesadilla and nachos also.

My first time in and at first glance - it looked great. The store was clean, cashier was more than polite, and whatever was cooking smelled delicious! I ran in for one specific item so not time to explore but will very soon.

An outstanding supermarket with an emphasis on Hispanic products. Their staff are polite and friendly.Their produce section is comprehensive and priced well below other chain stores.Their butcher section carries a great variety of meats, poultry and fish at surprisingly reasonable prices. Overall, i would highly recommend them to all my friends from any background.

I love this place. Especially when you can eat a torta right next door inside their shop. They have delicious food. They have a lot of fresh food and meat. Don't forget their bread. Smells delicious in the morning. Great quality food. I'm a lifetime customer. Great customer service

Freshest veggies and fruits. Best selection at a real, honest to goodness butcher counter!!! Their prices beat the chain grocery store down the street. Customer service is friendly and prompt. The taqueria attached serves up some really good ready-to-eat Mexican. I see no reason to shop elsewhere!

Really clean place. Very well stocked, lots of Mexican , Latin and American products. Good staff service, taqueria and restaurant inside. From the market, I recommend the prepared masa for tamales. Is not too greasy as in another markets,( for example in Fresco, Lucky 7 and in Cardenas, their tamales masas are too greasy.)

Great service! Friendly staff. The folks at the deli/meat counter are knowledgeable and help customers out with questions and recommendations. Fresh bakery items daily.. including cakes and Tres Leches snack items. Overall a quick stop with lots of goodies. AND.. The taqueria onsite is always full so that's a good sign ;)

Great location, easy parking, huge fresh meat section, fresh produce section, always looks clean, there's a taqueria attached to market and the food is great.

Visiting San Jose making Menudo and stopped at Chavez Market! So clean and neatly organized. I forgot my mask and the security guard was so nice he gifted me one! Butcher was so knowledgeable about cooking time for menudo! Meat and produce section were clean! I am doing all my shopping here next time that I visit👌🏼👍🏼⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great products and customer service. I love their pre-preped taco meats. It's my go to for all my parties! Grab fresh meat, fresh salsas and produce.

The food here is delicious! And the staff is very friendly. Even my 3 year old who is a picky eater is loving the food. Definitely 5 stars.

They have the BEST marinated chicken breast I have ever tasted! BBQ, it is amazing. I drive 40 minutes to go there!

Chavez market is great, on this occasion I only went in to use the Western Union, and that was the worst time I ever had doing a money transfer. The guy working inside almost didn't give me my money. I had everything required, but he told me that from now on I can't use the name Mike because my name on my license is Michael. He told me that Mike is not a name. It isn't just not my name (even though my signature on my license says mike), but Mike is not a name. Anyhow,I was offended. Who is he to make a statement like that. RUDE.

This place has fresh products. The produce and meat sections are always clean, and there is never any old meat smell. I wish the grocery section was a little bit bigger, but the attached Taqueria has fantastic food. I highly reccomend the attached Taqueria if you like Mexican food.

I went to Chavez supermarket the other day and bought some groceries including fresh meat. I noticed their produce is fairly fresh compared to other well known stores and yet I only had to pay half the price. I'll be visiting this supermarket more often.

Good store. Went there looking for authentic ingredients for enchiladas we were making. Found everything we needed. Friendly cashier. Clean store. I'll be back.
