Peacock's Plume

Great store with amazing service where you are treated with top priority. This picture was taken on Mother's Day and my wife is wearing a beautiful dress we purchased at Peacock's Plume.

The best!!! You won't find customer service like this anywhere else in NC. Wonderful selection of sizes and labels. My daughter and I had so much fun shopping here! Robin and her team went above and beyond to insure we found pieces we loved! Shop the Plume! You won't be disappointed.

I can’t tell you how many times Robin and her staff have helped me find the perfect outfit or dress in a pinch. I had a wedding to attend months ago. The bride didn’t have bridesmaids, but those she considered “best friends” were asked to wear a black dress. I can explain my style. I’m 38, have piercings and a full sleeve of tattoos. I like to mix really classy with a little bit of “she should have been a punk rock star”. I went everywhere in town. I don’t want to look like a cast member from Little House on the Prairie. Nor can I wear any dress that cuts/has a seam at my waist. I have a short torso and very wide hips. So anything with that cut, shoots off my hips and I look 100 pounds heavier. With an hour left before the wedding. I ran into the store, told Robin what I was looking for. She popped right up and handed me a dress. Even though I wear a medium/large she handed me a small. She saw the look on my face and said it will be perfect, hustled me into the dressing room. Robin, knows exactly what she’s doing! I felt so good in that dress, I decided to take it and myself on tour that night around downtown. You really can’t ask for better customer service than Peacocks Plume. Life savers!

We drove from Wilson NC to visit this highly recommended store, and they did not disappoint! I would put their staff and customer service up against anyone. They were very accommodating, and we will be making that 1.5 hour drive more than a couple times a year. Clothing choice is amazing, and seemingly endless. If you do nothing else for your women’s clothing collection, go to Peacock’s Plume…..and make your husband pay ;)

I bought a beautiful Karina Grimaldi dress from here. The normal boutique I shop at didn't have my size. I ordered it online and the price was great. When I recieved the dress there was a personalized note in there for me. It was such a sweet touch. I will definitely be visiting in person in the near future and am excited to! I highly recommend because they make you feel special and important! Thank you Peacock's Plume for being so special and inviting.

I used to lust after this sensational store since 2007 when I first moved to NC. I live 2 hours away and shop in-person twice a year and do mail orders too many times that I’d like to put in writing. It’s well worth the drive because Robyn and Caroline and Grey always make me feel like I’m not an imposition even though I actually don’t care to shop, have body positivity issues and take forever to make decisions. I probably owe Robyn rent there for the time I spend in the fitting rooms. This is hands down a textbook example of customer service at its finest, a curated selection of clothes to fit most budgets and all sizes of women’s clothing. If they let me live here, I probably would. This is such an amazing store operated by Southern belles who make you feel appreciated and the clothing…sweet Baby Jesus…the clothing is sensational. The best store in NC! Thank you, Robyn for being my friend of over a decade and for bringing your fabulous vision to life year after year.

I can't believe it's taken me over seven years of living in the area to find Peacock's Plume! Their clothing is unique and stylish, and the staff is top-notch. Sally was amazing at finding items that suited my needs and style. I'll be back!
