Pure Hockey

We visited this place for the first time this week and returned later in the week. The staff was super knowledgeable and took their time explaining things to us as fairly new hockey parents. Their interaction with my son was fantastic and we were able to find what we needed without being pressured. We will definitely be going back!

My experience with hockey is minimal to none, as this is only the second year my daughter has played. We needed to purchase some equipment such as skates, helmet, and stick. Dustin was absolutely the epitome of what customer service should be. We were asking a million questions and he kept his patience with us both times we have been in the store. Just ask for Dustin when you go! 🤩

I'm a 10 year old who loves to play hockey and I needed new skates and my coach suggested this store Pure Hockey and as soon as I looked at the pictures I told my mom that this was my dream store I love Pure Hockey and it is an amazing store you should alll stop in if you play hockey.

I haven’t played hockey close to 4 years. I went into pure hockey trying to get new skates. I bought the m4’s Bauer skates, I went ice skating with my family to try them out they hurt extremely bad. I did not enjoy myself at all. I went back into pure hockey and told them my situation . They handled it to a perfection, very professional and the staff they have working for them is top notch ! I will be back and will be spending my money there without a doubt.

This is a great store in Monroeville for hockey equipment/supplies. It is very organized and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Helpful staff. Don't fall for it's cheaper online. Price shopped several items from online retailer. Skates, stick and elbow pads were same price.

The initial service and product selection was great. We needed a special order for our sons hockey skates and the team knew by when he needed them. (Ordered Monday, needed for Saturday). They were going to ship to us but then changed that plan. They instead decided to call us and see what we wanted to do (pick up or mail). They left one message and when we tried to call back we never got an answer. We left a message saying we would pick up but they claim that they never received it. They claimed that they tried to call us multiple times but we did not have any missed calls or voicemails. They then decided to mail “next day” but didn’t select Saturday delivery. This debacle left our child without skates for their first hockey practice. What was even more disappointing was when I called to inquire about the tracking number, to find out what was going on, they said they would call me back and they never did. Leaving me to have to follow up. Saying they were busy with other customers. I felt like now that I paid, I’m no longer a priority/customer. I think all would be good if what you need is in stock. If you need to go beyond that, make sure you over-communicate and ask a lot of detailed questions to ensure that you get what you need, when you need it. Otherwise you might feel in the dark, like it’s your fault, and a burden on the staff.
