Cafe Presto

As many times as I have been in the area, I have never eaten here. I have now realized that was a mistake. It is a quaint establishment with fantastic staff and even better food. Greek, Mexican, and America cuisine is the best of all worlds. The souvlaki is amazing, food is fast and prices are extremely reasonable. I will be eating here a a lot more and recommend it to everyone.

It's easy to walk by Cafe Presto, but that would be a mistake. Their simple decor, hides excellent American, Greek and Mexican comfort fare. Service was quick and with a great smile. Try a shake, they're great. BTW, they are right across the street from St Mary's Hospital.

A great place to eat! It's quaint, easily accessible from the hospital, and fairly priced! Also, one of the few restaurants in Rochester that has breakfast before noon haha. It's good portions and we'll be back for the crepes!

Parking is a little difficult though, wish there was a parking lot for those not at the hospital.

My wife and I stopped by for breakfast. It was fantastic - quick friendly service, delicious eats with nice but not oversized portions. We'll be back for more meals.

A fantastic diner! Had breakfast here several times this week while my dad was in the hospital. Great service too!

Parking in back, but thats expected for 2nd st. Reasonable pricing and good breakfast.

Amazing breakfast! The food was all cooked perfectly and the service was great. The cafe is well updated and clean.

My friends and I went here and the experience was awesome, great atmosphere, and excellent service. I'm glad to hear that a family-owned business like this one is still thriving during COVID. The food was fresh and hot, and server Peter was great! Great sense of humor and made sure everything was great. We stopped in 20 minutes before close and we were still treated with awesome service. Keep up the great work Cafe Presto, and thanks for the great service Peter. My friends and I will be coming back as regulars soon enough!

We went here for lunch and it was great. The waitress was friendly and very attentive. We ordered enchiladas and had a party melt. Food was delivered quickly and everything was delicious. We arrived at the end of the lunch rush and the place was full of Mayo employees. That's always a good sign if the locals are eating there! They serve breakfast all day and it looked very good as well. Prices are very reasonable.We are in town for a couple of days and will definitely be going back.

It was really great for breakfast. The food selection was unbeatable for the price. Also we ordered a wide range of things, and they were all tasty. They have classic breakfast food for a very fair price. I'll definitely be returning for breakfast and lunch in the future. The service was also great, and they refilled our drinks quickly.

A nice small town cafe feel with a really diverse menu. Typical Americana, Mexican, Greek and even French food (crepes) on the menu. Our food was tasty and portions were large. Service was great. We'll be there again soon. Nice to give the little local guy business instead of a big chain.

This little diner is across the street from St. Mary’s. I’m so glad we found it!! We had breakfast there 3 times & lunch once! Breakfast was perfect, not too much food. Great hash browns & coffee. Oh, they also gave gluten free bread! For lunch, I had the BLT ( on gluten free bread). It was delicious & the fries were nice & crispy! All the staff is super friendly & the prices more than reasonable! I wish we had Cafe Presto in Parker, Colorado!

GO HERE! We are from out of town and had 1 night to pick a quality meal - so happy we went with this family owned restaurant. The food was delicious, we got a greek salad and buffalo chicken sandwich - both were quality. The thing that sets this place apart was our interaction with the extremely friendly gentleman that took our order and greeted us at pick up. He was personable and kind, but also very efficient and made sure we had everything we needed for a to-go order. The whole experience was so good we decided to go back for breakfast the next morning. Unfortunately we were heading out early and they hadn’t opened yet. The hours listed on google were a little off so you can call ahead to check but what we found was they closed at 8pm on a Tuesday and opened at 9am on Wednesday. We’ll be back on our next trip to Rochester !

One of the best cafes I've ever been to. The service is top notch. The food is amazing and the coffee is way better than a 5 dollar cup at your corporate coffee chain. The food comes out quick and the restaurant is clean. The prices are low for the amount of food you get. There's nothing to dislike here.

I went out for a walk from Mayo Clinic and stopped here for breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised! This place was a nice quiet small place. The guy who waited on my was super friendly and fun. I had a meal of 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and 2 slices of toast, with coffee (free refills) for a total of $6.70. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. I don't usually review places but this one deserved it.

We were looking for someplace to have breakfast other than our free hotel breakfast and found Cafe Presto. We arrived on the parking lot side and were a little doubtful about going in but we did. What a great place. We both had omelet which were very good. The service was great. It was also an incredibly friendly place. We felt at home even though we had never been there before.

The beef barley soup was delicious, the crepes were very tasty and reasonably priced. Waitress was really nice. Love that they serve breakfast all day! Would definitely go back. :)

Love this place and even though we don't go there all to often we have a somewhat of a connection there. My father was at Mayo Clinic for a really long time and until he passed away we would often take a break and grab a bite. The owner is a great guy and they have awesome food we have Gyros every year for Easter new tradition that started a couple years ago and I hope it continues on great food great people that work there and the owner is a awesome guy that will come and see how you're doing and make sure everything's okay highly recommend that you try this place out you won't be sorry

Our waitress was friendly and on top of things. The food was hot, fresh and one of the best breakfasts I have had in a while. They were picky making sure our food was what we ordered. The gentleman helping out behind the counter saw my wife's eggs were not over easy and corrected the problem before it even got to us. GREAT RESTAURANT!!

Love love love it here. Very friendly staff, energetic and helpful. Very good location , easy to get to if you are close to the hospital. My boyfriend and I have eaten here our last 3 meals and love everything we have gotten .
The chicken fingers are soooooooo good hand battered for deliciousness.
Only thing I would change is maybe have the salad a little cheaper. But everything else is priced very well. And well worth any wait you have .
They do get busy .
