Pauseful Massage and Botanicals is the only place I schedule my massage therapy when I visit Manzanita. I love Christina's healing massage work and beautiful vibe. She has created a relaxing and peaceful environment with lovely essential oils. I'm always amazed at how in tune she is with my body's needs and how wonderful I feel afterward. I feel so fortunate to have found her 4 years ago, and I look forward to seeing her again soon.

I had one of the best massages I have ever had at Pauseful Massage and Botanicals. I have had chronic back and hip pain for over 30 years now and have received many massages over the decades, what Was so special about this massage was the depth that was used during the massage was perfect for every area. I have experienced in the past that depth (pressure, angles, vector etc.) seems to be an "on/off" concept for many massage therapists; but what I usually need is more in some areas than others. Christina nailed the depth in all the areas we worked on and I felt great after my massage. I highly recommend getting a massage at Pauseful from Christina and team.

As a fellow massage therapist I really appreciate Christina’s approach and understanding of the nervous system’s impact on bodywork. To start the session there is an intentional and “pauseful” few minutes to not only undress and get on the table but to also allow your body to downshift, a much better starting point :) After that, Christina’s presence and intuition effectively restored range of motion to my chronically tight shoulder using just enough therapeutic pressure without sending my body into fight mode. Pauseful is the place to go if you’d like to stop time for just a little bit and get an expert massage while you’re at it.

My massage with Christina was hands down the best massage I have ever received. She incorporated a little bit of breath-work into my massage and reminded me kindly about my breathing throughout the massage which was much appreciated. On top of a fantastic massage, she was so warm and welcoming. She took the time to explain the different types of massages they offer in great detail and went over how I can work on strengthening/stretching my neck to help relieve the tension that I have built up there. The massage space itself is so cozy. Definitely would recommend to anybody in the area!

This was my first massge ever. The overall experience was comfortable and pleasant. Christina made me feel like she wanted to massage me. ( I know that sounds weird) Her hands were magic to my body and my soul. My best friend and I had just been in a car accident on our way to the massage and thankfully we were okay and able to make our appointment. It's a beautiful location in Manzanita, the building is serene and just an overall wonderful experience. If you are in Manzanita and are in need of a massage visit this place!!

We had a couples massage. Both massages were fantastic. The space was relaxing and convenient. They end the massage with hot towels on your feet, which was very nice. Highly recommend!

We were on our honeymoon and Christina and Jamie came to us to do a couples massage. It such a relaxing passage. My husband and I got to experience this intense moment together. They were so precessional and caring as they were asking about any concerns or sensitive areas that we might have. We would book with them again in a heartbeat!!

I visited Pauseful while on a trip to Manzanita. The massage was wonderful and unique to other massage therapy I've experienced. Christina created an environment that invited an active mindfulness while being worked on, and I left the session feeling like the work went deeper than just my muscles. She has a presence of calm and kindness that surrounds her. She helped me with my neck pain and gave me tools to help it going forward. The studio was clean and quiet, perfect for relaxation.
