Grotto Wood-Fired Grill and Wine Cave

It was my first time in Eureka Springs this past weekend celebrating a best friend’s birthday and this restaurant came highly rated to us already. The food was cooked perfectly and drinks were just as beautiful as they were tasty. Tony was our server who gave us exceptional service, recommendations, and had great table side banter with us. Already can’t wait for my next visit to this place!

Experience was truly amazing! First visit for our special 25th Wedding Anniversary/Vacation. We enjoyed special table by the natural spring and staff exceeded expectations with two complimentary glasses of Champagne along with this perfect spot. The food was amazing, from appetizer, entree's, to dessert! Robbie, our waiter, did a fantastic job with recommendations and very knowledgeable. We couldn't have been more pleased. Hope to come back next time we visit Arkansas. Everything was perfect!

What a lovely find!! This was the perfect romantic dinner with an amazing atmosphere. The natural spring runs inside the restaurant. The food was amazing (wood plank salmon) and perfectly cooked. The staff was attentive and wonderful. We will definitely be back!! We made reservations and got right in, so I would definitely encourage a reservation, especially on a weekend.

Had the filet special with shrimp. There’s just something about shrimp over a wood fire. Try it if you haven’t.
Bread pudding was for dessert and it did not disappoint! Dessert arrives super fast so don’t skimp, even if you’re short on time. Speaking of time… of the restaurants we frequent in town, the Grotto has the most efficient service cadence, and seems staffed to handle busy periods, something others could improve on.

Dining room is upscale and open but not too loud. Make a reservation - wing it and you’re not getting in.

We had reservations for dinner last week for our 25th anniversary. I had asked for a quiet table by the caves, and that’s exactly where we were sat. Excellent service and one of the best meals we’ve ever had. My husband has to have steak sauce, always, and he didn’t need it for his steak at the grotto. I had the salmon and it was equally amazing. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough and we can’t wait to return!

Everything was amazing, best salmon Ive literally ever had… and I’ve had a lot. I’m celiac, so I must have Gluten Free, and they accommodated. I also have a dairy allergy so I need dairy free as well, they accommodated. I eat a strict paleo diet, and they accommodated. Thank you so much. Also, atmosphere was delightful. Id add one suggestion, play music that matches the atmosphere. While I love some 70’s … classic jazz would be a total vine!

We visited to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing. We had the qual breast, duck breast with the acorn squash and the lamb ribeye with the asparagus.

This is the best place in town to have an upscale vibe with a low key atmosphere. I'm all about good food but the ambience has to be great as well. They have nailed it here.There is a spring and the restaurant is a cave style atmosphere. You need a reservation if possible, but try slipping in and sitting at the bar if all else fails. We had the wings with dipping sauces, short ribs, salmon and bread pudding. Yumbalicious y'all! Get it!

The Grotto is a must try! The atmosphere was great for a date night. We ordered the bread and butter with the mushroom bisque soup. Both of them were good my wife didn’t like the soup as much but I thought it was delicious. I ordered the filet mignon with the baked potato and my wife ordered the filet mignon and asparagus with Mac and cheese. Both of our main courses were amazing! We also got the chocolate dome for dessert with wasn’t to sweet which was good. The filet will not disappoint and it was seasoned cooked perfectly. Definitely go here if you want a date night.

My husband and I reserved here for our 13th anniversary! We got a tiny lil table for 2 right next to the cave area, it was very romantic. The service was great the food was excellent.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This restaurant is one of the best I have ever been to! The food was outstanding! The Mac and cheese was to die for. I ended up getting their special, which was an Oktoberfest pork chop. So so so so so good. The food is 5 star but the atmosphere is casual upscale. Server was awesome

I love this restaurant! I came with some friends and the food and service was amazing. Ronda was out server and if you can get her you are in for a treat. She was kind and cared about us and made sure we had an amazing evening. I got the salmon and a baked potato for dinner. We also got the fried brussel sprouts, burrata plate, and the goat cheese cheesecake with strawberry balsamic glaze. It was AMAZING! I highly recommend. I also recommend the lavender dream cocktail, pretty sweet but oh so delicious.

Very neat location, but small, maybe 10-15 tables. There may have been an upstairs, but didn't see anyone go up there. Food was fun and unique. I got the lamb, which seemed to me mostly fat and bone with little meat. Otherwise everything else was great.

So good, ate there 3 nights in a row. Wine selection is thorogh and reasonable. Salmon with garlic butter knocked my socks off, so good! Only suggestion is to warm the plates for plated food (steak, asparagus, etc.). Staff is beyond wonderful, each and every one of them!

This is a fantastic date night, out-with-friends, or family night for celebration location. We came to just grab an appetizer and drink and I was floored by the quality of the sliders on the menu!! They were every bit as good as a full meal!! The gentleman next to us had the rib-eye and it looked perfectly cooked! Our bar tender was so kind he showed us around the beautiful facility and made us fantastic drinks. He also answers any questions we had. The food was phenomenal and the location beautiful. Perfect for a night out!

I let them know in my reservation that it was our anniversary, and they gave us the special table right by the rock wall and even left us a card on the table.
The food was delicious (as always!) and Michael gave us great service. Definitely our favorite place to eat in Eureka Springs!

Wonderful valentine's weekend dinner. Food, atmosphere,and service were excellent. Crispy fried brussel sprouts and quail Popper's for appetizers and the wife and I both had the grilled pork chops with baked potato and wine soaked mushrooms and then tiramisu to go for dessert. Pricey but well worth it. Will definitely be back

This is the 1 place you must visit in Eureka Springs. Incredible food, wonderful service and where else can you get this atmosphere?

As with many things about Eureka Sorings that are unique, the vibe and atmosphere in this “underground” restaurant is beautiful. It’s a very small space (also typical Eureka) so in peak seasons you likely won’t get in without a reservation. We arrived early thinking we could have a drink at the bar prior to dinner and even discovered the bar seats are reserved. The Grotto is known for its steak, which was excellent. We did have our Granddaughter with us (she’s 7) and there is nothing for a kid’s menu but she ate the sliders which is how we discovered (of all things) the french fries were the most delicious things I’ve ever had ASSUMING you like a lot of salt because they were loaded with seasonings. The menu is limited so check it out before you go to make sure there is something to your liking. The service was great and the restaurant makes its own sauces so highly recommend you try the horseradish. For your baked potatoes they out a block of butter with seasonings (maybe chive?) in it, also very good. Great place for a romantic dinner, not a great place for kids. Certainly a swanky upscale choice for a delightful dinner in Eureka!

We had a fantastic evening at the Grotto! It's our new favorite restaurant in Eureka. Great atmosphere, good for conversation, great cocktails & wines, delicious food & a nice variety of options. Michael was an exceptionally good server & bar manager!
