Beautiful like home feeling restaurant with beautiful views specially during sunset
Very friendly and nice staff though they were running behind
Food was delicious from appetizers to soup and salad to main dish and though it is not on the cheap side but I would say it is worth it
The steak was 100% cooked to order and delicious so was the salmon
The onion soup and the clam chowder were delicious and so was the cocktail shrimps and the tender calamari
I would definitely recommend it and love to visit again
Make sure you leave a space for the huge delicious dessert

Fantastic bayfront locale, great views. Store was slow midday for lunch, and service was slow too. Burger was huge, juicy, and cooked medium as requested. fries were hand-cut and great. Cheap smaller sized 'happy hour' cocktails worth the $5/ea. Prefer the house music volume to be slightly lower, but was not obnoxious.
Great place to stop in if you are in the area.

This place was a great afternoon stop with great views of the bay. Friendly for children, quite a bit of local seafood ooptions available, though the oysters were a little smaller than I had expected, but their Large fried platters were top notch. Decent wine selection and reasonable prices for the quality.

We arrived 10 minutes before closing (Tuesday night) and asked if they were closing at 8:00pm. The waitress confirmed the closing time but asked us if we knew what we wanted to order or which we quickly responded, "Yes! The seafood alfredo". She then felt comfortable seating us & as so kind to get us seated right away. We were able to get a salad, the last bit of clam chowder along with the most amazing dessert! The fact that she made an exception and allowed us eat was such a very kind gesture.

This is the place for a really really great meal. Awesome views and terrific service. Everything was delicious and well prepared. Stick to the seafood, do not combine the seafood and steak meals. While mine was good the steak was not stellar.

The whole dungenous crab and clam chowder were fantastic. Paired with a glass of Sauvignon blanc, great service and a stellar view, it was the perfect west coast lunch.

I can't wait to return to this place! We visited last September and we loved the friendly, prompt, helpful, knowledgeable, and perfect service! They went above and beyond for us, the seating was perfect, and the view stellar! The food though...oh the thoughtful creations and lovely presentation that was the clincher! I see why this place gets a line at the door when opening! Everything was prepared absolutely perfectly and served fresh and hot! Definitely an Oregon coast treat!!

This restaurant was a wonderful find. The food was outstanding and the service was top notch. We stopped here twice during the week for lunch. The food was homemade and the portions were just right. We had hamburgers sandwiches and salads. We sat along side the Bay and watched the boats and the sunny sky’s. We recommend this place. The only problem was they as many restaurants are experiencing a shortage of help so their hours are limited. We would have gone there for Friday night dinner but unfortunately they closed at 5:00. Check their hours before you go.

Wonderful food and views, lovely people helping us enjoy our night! Plenty of parking, short wait at the right time. Sad they ran out of crab legs, but it was the very end of the night and our meals were still delicious. Complimentsry bread (soft, warm, delicious) to get you started.

This is amongst the best restaurants I have found in the area (Northern Oregon Coast). The ambiance and service is excellent and it is also reasonably priced on top of it! The seafood, including fresh Oregon shrimp and Dungeness crab, was fresh and very first rate. They have wonderful house made clam chowder, as well as oyster stew and French onion soup on the menu daily.

All items are fresh and all preparation is in-house. This is not a solely seafood house, either. The selection of steaks is also the best around, there is truly something for everyone.

***Be weary of those that call this "expensive," we had appetizers and full seafood dinners at an extraordinarily reasonable price***

I cannot underscore what a great find this is and I would give it my utmost recommendation!!

We are returning today for breakfast!!!

We told the hostess (owner?) how many were in our party and when we approached the booth with a view, they had laid out sets of utensils and water for all members in my family. That was very thoughtful.

We weren't prepared to try the items from the main dishes, but the appetizers we did have were delicious. We had the clam chowder and shoestring crab fries.

Today the place was packed. A nice sight to see. Clam chowder was fabulous. The chicken Parmesan good I didn’t eat it but it looks great. No complaints. A salad. And a codfish, dinner, wine, and a nice ambience and we loved our waiter Mike. It was awesome. The place was packed for a while and then didn’t out close to closing time. We stayed a little bit longer is very nice of them to let us stay with our out-of-town friends. The view is always spectacular and I think that is the biggest straw. Again I’m so happy it’s open.

Awesome food. Amazing view. Fabulous staff. I had the crab roll. The rest of the table had fish n chips, salmon fish n chips, French onion soup, clam chowder and a salad. Everyone was happy and pleased.

We went on a Wednesday night for dinner and we’re very happy with the overall experience. My parents were in town visiting us in Portland so we wanted to take them to the coast for a few days and have a nice but affordable seafood dinner. My wife and I had the halibut and my parents had the steaks topped with crab. Portions were huge! Views of the bay were stunning! Everything was delicious and service was super efficient! We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

My family stopped at Pirates Cove on the way back from our Oregon Coast vacation. We were blown away by the quality of the food. All of our dishes were absolutely delicious. I had the best homemade hot chocolate I've ever had. The service was excellent as well and the view was beautiful. When we go back to the Coast, we will absolutely be stopping at this restaurant again.

We have been wanting to stop here for some time, and i am glad we did. I was a little skeptical at first as their prices were a little higher than what i usually pay. ($12-$27)
HOWEVER, the food was well worth it! My friend and i both got the Buccaneer Burger, and it comes with all normal fixings and choice of side. Their fry sauce was REALLY good and paired well with the burger. The burger 6 was a good portion, handmade beef patty, and had a wonderful flavor.
We also got a bowl of clam chowder, i would say it is better than Mo's, in my opinion. It had a good consistency, good flavor, and generous pieces of clam! It was also well prepared, with no huge chunks. Great portion, larger than most places give for a cup, and it was just under $5, which is a competitive price.
The server, Mike, was a nice guy and was helpful and attentive. It's a very relaxed atmosphere which was really nice. Food was served in a timely manner.
I do think the place needs a bit more piratey themed stuff, but not your typical items. There are pictures up of historical significance, so i think going along that line and having items or info on local Oregon coast pirate lore or more local historical figures.
The view from dining was amazing and added to the ambiance.
