I love this view mountains on one side river on the other. I always read reviews and I know everyone's opinion counts. I think people get critical about minor issues. Look around you enjoy and take it in its a older park with older trailers and affordable prices. The folks staying here are friendly and love camping as much as you. I hate the places that check how old your trailer is and have rules for everything. I'm enjoying the scenery and I would of liked to stay longer to of fished a few days. I will be back with family to stay longer. Thanks for listening.

We moved our trailer down here this summer and it has been a wonderful experience. The bathrooms are always clean, showers are hot and the staff are friendly. We have never had a bad experience. If we need something someone is always there to help us in a timely manner. After the storms the manager was out here fixing the internet cables as fast as he could given the circumstances. We appreciate the staffs efforts to keep this park running and safe. Thank you!

Needed a last minute booking and the owner was very helpful. Got a great spot right off the river and started my day walking along the river before continuing my journey. Would stay again, very room spot to back my truck and camper into

We spent a little more than a month here. We had some technical issues with the camper on our way and were a few days late arriving. The staff was extremely understanding and held our reservation. Our reservation has been made kind of last minute and only for two weeks. After two weeks in the park we decided to stay longer and had to move to another spot in the back. Site 65 I believe. The entire stay was quiet. There is a sense of community in the park. We full-time in our travel trailer but are still somehow terrible planners and they even were able to accommodate us for Labor Day. This is not by any means and extremely high end RV resort. But for the price you can’t beat it. The staff is great! And above all it is very safe. I left my yeti cooler outside every night for over a month without any worries.
Stan even gave me a bunch of great fishing information and loan me a ride for a couple days. Can’t be that!

We have driven past here many times and we are glad we stopped and stayed. Staff is great! Dog run is clean and doggie bags available.

This place is AMAZING! It is right on the river with easy access to the water. They keep it very clean and everyone there was respectful of everyone around. There is a playground for the kiddos, a couple dog yards to let your animals off their leashes for a little bit, and a volleyball net. The bathrooms are cleaned daily. The showers are hot and great pressure! It truly was awesome to get back from the beach and have a nice quiet place with a nice hot shower. We are definitely coming back!!

My wife and I needed to get away for the weekend so we decided to stay at Misty River. We had stayed here before but had the most horrible experience. However, the new managers made my wife and I feel welcomed from the moment we got there! They keep the park bathrooms/showers very clean and we were impressed how personable they were. Everyone at the park seemed to be enjoying themselves and that speaks volumes about how the managers are respected there. We will definitely be back, hopefully soon! (Covid depending).

We had the most wonderful time glamping in one of the two yurts. Yurt 2 has air conditioning, Yurt 1 does not, but we didn't need it as the shade creeps in rather early due to all the mature trees west of the yurt. Both yurts (and presumably the rental cabins and campers as well) have TVs with Netflix, the whole campground has Wi-Fi and the restrooms were constantly spotless... seriously... super clean. The dog park was small, but an absolute blessing. The playground equipment looked ready for retirement, and we didn't let the kiddos on it after an initial test swing left the whole thing swaying. The riverbank is private, but sadly had quite a bit of refuse scattered about. Everyone we encountered was kind and welcoming. I never once saw a person in the office, but when I called before arrival they promptly answered and answered a litany of questions cheerfully.

My fiance and I just had the most wonderful stay at Misty River! The park was extremely clean, and even had a dog park which was such a great surprise. The managers were so welcoming and friendly, we will absolutely be staying here again next time we visit Tillamook.

My experience in this park has never been better since John and Cindy became the managers this park has never been better...I have been through hell from previous managers so the owner of this park better count his blessings that he has these two people Good luck on ever finding anybody to replace them. They are fair they enforce park rules just all around cool people and the people who are residents appreciate that at least I do very much and without the year round residents this park would not survive so the transient people need to show respect for everybody here and John and Cindy try very had to make sure that happens for everyone not only for the permanent residents but for anyone who comes to stay in this park for a couple days or what have you. Thank You John and Cindy and keep up the good work!

One of the best RV parks we have had the pleasure of staying at. Management is positively some of the greatest people we have dealt with in a long time. The park is so clean, including the bathrooms and affordable quality laundry. Sites are huge, never stacked on top of one another. Nice playground and dog run. Very respect community, long term and short. Once the bad seeds were removed, it has been a very pieceful place. What a blessing to find such a grand park on the river. Theresa goes out of her way to make sure the accommodations and experience is all you could ask for. This is, I'm sure a very thankless job as some seem to think they are above the rules, I do not envy management. I travel the country and I have seen 100's of parks. This is one one the best. I had only been here 2 minutes when the 1☆ review people had approached my husband and I trying to drag us into their management war. I listened to them for 2 days rant and rave outside my RV about nothing and everything. Bitching was what they seem to do best. Luckily, they were evicted so the rest of us could enjoy our stay. It's been such a peaceful place since and we have been here 2 months. 5☆☆☆☆☆

Great for a simple little trip! The cabin and restroom were modern, clean, and warm, and there is direct access to the river. We even had cell service which was a comfort in a new place. Close to many trails and activities, and I'd revisit for a fishing or hiking weekend any time.

As the manager of the park and new ownership since June of 2016, it has been a very busy summer season. The new owner is the nicest most generous man we have ever met. The park has been full again with campers and monthly guest. The park was in need of some repairs and care when we arrived. There has been some cleaning up of the park and restoring it back to an RV Park and destination Resort. We have a beautiful location and setting, the park is quiet, clean and friendly. We spent the last three months working and making improvements to the park, remodeled the men's restroom, put in playground area, added yurts and hunting cabins, overall cleaning of the park and maintenance after flooding last winter. There was also some needed clean up of guest that were unable to comply with the rules and regulations of the park that weren't being enforced. As managers we are doing our jobs and making the park pleasant for all who come and getting rid of the people that are non-compliant and trouble makers. People who quit coming to the park in past have returned and all the feedback over the summer has been positive and good with people happy about the changes and how nice the park is now. I will say that it has been rough as managers to get rid of the trouble makers and people that would not comply, and we could not have made it through without our campers and most monthly folks support everyday telling us to hang in there. It is amazing to us how 6-7 people can cause so much havoc and misery out of pure meanness of heart. You know who those few are by the reviews you read that were the trouble makers of the park......I wish them well......someplace else! Everyone can now walk the park freely without being accosted by them and their negativity on a daily basis. We thank all the rest for your support. Andrew & Teresa Ciupryk

I love being on the river again. It is so pretty here and I love that I get to see an eagle or two daily. The park's new managers are doing an excellent job. From day one we have felt welcomed and everyone we have met are very friendly.

The tent camping sites were separated from the RV’s and very nice. The restrooms were clean. The staff is exceptional and the manager even helped me put air in my tires before I left

I went to visit my son and his girlfriend who are new residents. I thought the park was clean, the bathrooms and laundry were close and very clean. The Wilson River is just steps away and is very busy this time of year with drift boats and fisherman/gals.

My DIL got car sick on the way to Tillamook so we pulled into here. There was a lady and her daughter that were very welcoming. The mom and I chatted and had a few laughs while my DIL grounded herself.

This is a very nice little Park! Set right on the edge of the Wilson River, great sunrises, and beautiful sunsets! And don't forget the resodenr Eagles fishing over the river!
We are heading back for the summer for these reasons and more, clean facilities, daily maintenance of the grounds, and friendly faces...it's got a very nice home-away from-home feel 👍

Nice quiet park with incredibly nice people! Everyone is so welcoming and the grounds are kept meticulously clean, which I appreciate immensely. The river is so peaceful in the mornings. Just what I needed for an easy city get away weekend!
