It was nice, we were here during the slow season. We stayed in Yurt F. It was a bit cold at first since it's winter. But it warms up quick with the heater they provide. I took my husband for his birthday, it was his first time staying in a Yurt. The lady at the front desk was super helpful, and a lovely person. Thank you for your hospitality.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SMALL THINGS THAT MAKE TILLAMOOK BAY RV PARK A TRULY BIG THING!

We travel a lot, especially in Oregon as our beautiful state has more things that we could possibly see in a lifetime but we're giving it one hell of an effort. We are always looking for the quaint little place away from the crowds and away from the jam-packed campgrounds this time of year.

Rooms... Impeccably arranged for your visit including bunk bed, comfortable futon couch and there's also a refrigerator and even a hot water pot. Electricity! Heating! All of it comes into play even on a hot summer day. The coolest thing about the room is the little clear dome where the light comes in and just brightens everything up. THE ABSOLUTE CLEANEST AND WELL-MAINTAINED YURT....

Location... North of Tillamook about 10 minutes. That damn cheese factory has millions of people crawling all over Tillamook and it was nice to get away to a quiet spot. Three quick right turns and you are at the front door. We reserved a yurt. But man, plenty of RVs of every size and shape with its own spot. Our very yurt was in the back and the key thing for our location for us was we were just steps away from the dog run where our pooch was able to run freely off leash. The dog run was green grass very well maintained, no poop all over the place whatsoever, and we went out there six times during our visit.

Customer service.... That's what makes this place truly special. When you go to check in there's a 24-hour area provided by management including ice, microwave, magazines, and a buck load of magazines and maps and such of Oregon and traveling. Again the small things made our trip fantastic. The manager that runs the joint is another reason we will return many times simply because she treated me so kindly and had information galore. Everything she wanted us to follow as far as rules were explained, she took the time and had the patience to explain the code numbers to go take a shower which by the way was the most fun I've had in a shower. 3 minutes for 25 cents I dropped in a dollar and wished I had a magazine to read while I was in there. A highlight of the trip before going to bed..

IF YOU'RE A TENT CAMPER AND WANT A BREAK, IF YOU'RE SOMEONE TRAVELING THAT DOESN'T WANT A PAY A BUTT LOAD OF MONEY FOR A MOTEL ROOM, OR IF YOU'RE OUT EXPLORING THE OREGON COAST THE YURTS AT THIS PLACE ARE VERY REASONABLE PRICED FOR WHAT YOU GET.A+++++

Stayed here for one night on a weekday and everything was great. The yurt we rented was nice and clean. The have a mini fridge, coffee maker and little stove in them. I found the bed a bit better quality than the state park ones -it was thicker, and the metal frame disperses weight better. Bathrooms were very clean, and they had good quality products. While the park is between two roads, there is a beautiful huge nature reserve in walking distance, and it’s the kind of spot you come to enjoy the coast mainly so it made the perfect inexpensive base camp for us.

Check in was fast and easy. Have us $2 in quarters for the shower. We stayed in a 16' yurt, which had a mini fridge, heater, and electric fireplace. Much nicer that the ones at the state parks and mattress was surprisingly more comfortable. Because it would get hot in the afternoon you can easily open the windows to let the air through. The park was quiet other than the hwy 101 traffic, which I actually found soothing. there was a fresh porta potty so we didn't have to walk all the way to the bathroom. The bathroom must have been cleaned twice a day, it was immaculate. There was laundry available and only cost $250 to wash and dry. Tillamook is only a few minutes down the road for any essentials you may need. This was such a great stay and I look forward to coming back.

We arrived after office hour, they sent all information to my email box and kindly put some quarters in the room for us to shower. Very thankful to those helps and we spent a wonderful night at the yurt.

Great spot, kept up nicely, and a nice price! The spots are tight to park if you're 50' or more (we have a 32' trailer behind our dodge 3500). We had to park in the grass to not stick out into the path where people drive.

We reserved a 20’ yurt for 6. It was very roomy, more room than we needed. The yurt was clean, it included a mini fridge, space heater, coffee pot, sound machine, extension cords, table with 4 seats, the two bunk beds, a futon and a small coffee table. I might be forgetting something. The restrooms are clean and secure, requiring a code to enter. Showers and laundry are also available and require $ to use, reasonably priced. We did not use either.
We like the location between Tillamook and Rockaway. The traffic on the road is a bit loud, but once we were asleep it did not bother us.
Check in and check out was easy and the lady at the desk was friendly and helpful.

The yurt is very clean and everything in it seems new. They keep the park clean. The bathrooms are clean. We were in Yurt Q which was a little walk to the bathroom. But not bad. They do have a couple outhouses by the other yurt.
Update; we came back a week later and stayed in yurt F. Looked identical to Q inside and out. If you want to be right next to the bathroom then you should try to reserve A. It was already booked both times we stayed. The woman we dealt with was friendly, professional & accommodating.

The yurts are super cool. It was our first time in a yurt. They had power, heat from an electric fireplace, fridge, coffee pot, dining table, etc. Glamping in a sense. The restrooms were clean and the staff were so accommodating. I would love to stay again!!

We made reservations online and it was after hours. Got to the yurt and it wouldn’t work. It was far into 10pm and the office helped us with no problem when bookings shouldn’t of let us make the reservation.. the yurt was cute, clean and perfect! The moon was full and we got to watch it through the top! Definitely will go back

It's a little noisy near the highway, but we stayed in a yurt that was further back, and it was great. The yurt was spacious and had two bunk beds, a faux fireplace heater, a mini fridge, coffee maker, and a nice table and futon. The ladies who run the park were very accommodating and kind, and the showers/bathrooms were nice and clean. There is a nice kids play area and lovely flowers around the walkways.

Went on a fishing trip in the area and this seemed to be a fitting accommodation choice for the trip. The yurt itself was clean and well appointed although space. It made camping in a potentially damp and cold environment pleasurable. We availed ourselves of the fire pit and the indoor electric heater to be comfortable. The on-site facilities were clean at all times. I definitely recommend staying here for camping or RV-ing

I can't say enough good things about this place. We stayed in a 6 person Yurt (just two of us). It was clean, clean, clean and had many nice touches such as an extension cord, a kettle, and a little electric kettle. The bathrooms were clean as well. We were very pleased and will most likely be back.

We stay at Tillamook Bay City RV Park about 5 times a year. We enjoy the manager Linda very much. She's always very nice.

Just got home from staying at this campground. We were traveling with friends and set up facing each other. The hostess, Linda was great. This is a good location on the NW Oregon coast. We traveled to Cape Mears, Ecola State park, Cannon Beach, Tillamook Creamery. And Bay City. We had a great time!

This will be the second time we’ve stayed at one of the yurts on this property. We we super impressed the first time and even more so now that there are some covid precautions. We watched as they serviced a newly vacated yurt and were using state of the art equipment for sanitization. Super friendly services, very friendly with the fur babies.

There is some highway traffic noise but that never bothered us, if it does you, she has sound machines in the yurts which was a nice new touch.

My family and I had a really wonderful and relaxing time here. We stayed in one of the small yurts on New Year's Eve and it was a quiet, peaceful place to see the stars and toss last year's old habits into the fire pit. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. A bit of a terrifying drive from the coast when traveling in the dark though. Try to arrive before dusk.
