Adventure Sports Scuba

I did my open water certification and went on the Bonaire trip in 2022. The instructors are top notch and the trip was amazing! I purchased fins that ended up being a little too small and Ron let me swap them out for a different style when I returned. Had zero problems with the equipment I rented as well.

I had a great experience getting open water certified with Ron Tinker’s team! Ramon was a great instructor! He was patient yet thorough during the skills training. And the ‘fun’ dives beyond were definitely fun and worth the effort.

I feel (and have been informed) that the certification I’ve attained thru Adventure Sports Scuba will be useful and relevant no matter where I choose to take a dive vacation!

Ron and his team are VERY knowledgeable and go out of their way to ensure you're able to absorb that knowledge. Just earned my open water cert. If your in the area and looking to dive, this is the place to start. Thank you for a great beginning. Looking forward to many more exciting adventures.

I got certified at Adventure Sports Scuba with Ramon, Mark, and Irene at Ron's shop and can't recommend them enough. They were extremely patient with all the students, the instruction was clear and well paced, and the SDI certification and knowledge from the instructors put me in a great position to get my open water referral at my dive sites in Maui. I saw poor divers firsthand on my actual dives and was very thankful for the instruction I got here.

Ron was a huge help in processing my certification when my referral dive company was a different certification group and was knowledgeable and patient through some logistical hoops I had to jump through due to the dive companies I chose.

I'm recommending Adventure Sports Scuba to all my friends for certification and I hope to dive with their team and social dive network a lot more in the future!

Incredible little shop for all things scuba. The owner is very kind, knowledgeable, and passionate to help us get what we need for this special underwater sport. Highly recommended. He has nothing but high quality gear, which is what I'm after.

Super awesome place. Fantastic experience becoming SDI Scuba certified.. Ron and Doc are experts and great instructors. Patient and attentive. Laid back, but saftey conscious.
We are now using them to rent gear to go out diving on our own. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

I had the pleasure of a one on one refresher diving course that I wanted to do before a week long diving trip I'm taking. The folks there were friendly and very professional, caring and patient. The equipment was top notch. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and at a very reasonable price for the time they spent with me. Highly recommended!

We recently got certified through Ron's shop. Mark, Irene, Jack and Steve were are wonderful and helpful throughout everything. So much knowledge and passion! We had an amazing experience with these guys. We cant wait to go again.

I got Scuba certified here and had SO MUCH FUN! The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and made the class very interesting. I recently traveled with Adventure Sports to Cozumel, Mexico and had an amazing trip!! It was so fun to have the trip well organized and have lots of fun people to dive with in our group. My 14 year old daughter and I took the recreational scuba diving class here recently. The staff is very professional, warm, and helpful. They do a great job of focusing on the individual diving needs of their customers. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants to learn how to dive.

Absolutely the best place to rent tanks and get diving support.

We recently did the 5 day live aboard in the Channel Islands. Was an amazing trip and a great group to dive and hang out with. Made sure we had everything we needed and we very helpful. Highly recommend.

Went on the channel island trip Ron tinker knows how to pick a charter captain George of the sand dollar and crew know how to make their guests feel welcome and comrortable the dive sights on the trip were amazing and easy for a novice or expert diver full of cool critters I myself did not catch one single lobster but captain George caught lots and his cook made us a lobster dinner to die for if you art diving your eating yummy food or enjoin cocktails and recharging for the dives the next day I am supper stoked for next year's dive trip on the sand dollar and if your lucky enough to go I will see you on the boat

Small shop, but great service. Stopped in because my normal go to shop wasn't available. The staff has a high level attention to detail.
