Shorewood RV Resort

Clean, neat and organized Resort. Views are amazing. April and May are cheaper prices then summer. Dry season is expensive but so Spring is still rainy season. Price is not bad just dealing with weather.(cold, windy and rainy) family unions, birthday party, graduation party, spring break and all kinds of family activities in here such a wonderful. You can crabbing, fishing and tour cute downtown. Resort has rules if you didn’t have trouble with that. You will enjoy here.

We did a 2 night stay here in our camper with our 3 kids and enjoyed how quiet, clean, safe, and well-run everything was. The hosts were very helpful and attentive when we arrived. Bathrooms were extremely clean and well kept. It seems like most of the guests are actual residents, so it felt like a safe, comfortable community where people care about the overall quality of the place. Beach access was just a few minutes walk and absolutely beautiful. On a side note- we visited the area to go clamming and explore so we were only at the site to sleep/wind down. The lots are fairly close together so it’s definitely not a place where we’d make a campfire and hangout all day. But for us, it was perfect. Would definitely come back here the next time we are in the area!

Peaceful, well-kept park with an incredible location on Rockaway Beach. Private beach access at the front of the park. Everything is very clean and the traffic in the winter was minimal. This is one of the cutest little RV parks we've ever seen, with attractive tiny-house style mobiles and lovely landscaping. The managers were warm and hospitable. I wouldn't recommend Shorewood for party-goers. Respect is a must at this park and we truly appreciate the environment they maintain.

Excellent beach-front location, just south of Rockaway Beach. We stayed here for two weeks in a large back-in space that fully accommodated our 40’ fifth wheel, and offered a nice small picnic area behind the unit with a fire pit and picnic table. The park is not a “resort”, and it’s quiet, casual “beachy” atmosphere was perfect for us. The park is well managed, with friendly staff, and is well supervised. Many of the spaces/units are long-term leased, and the environment is very neighborly. It’s pricey, but consistent with beach-access park costs, and well worth the price. We will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely delightful! Beautiful setting on the beach with a great staff of very friendly people. Limited sites for overnighters but if you can get in you will not want to leave. Peaceful and tranquil. Some units are on an annual basis and the people are so friendly and courteous. Just a magnificent experience. We could stay here forever! Miles of beach to walk on! WOW!!!

After 60 days of traveling the country with a family of 5 living in a 26' travel trailer, we are happy to be home and to share some of our campground reviews. We stayed at Shorewood on July 24-25 in Site 100. Shannon and Ron were fabulous! We only reserved the night before we got there, and they worked hard to get us a site that worked for our family. As soon as we arrived, Ron helped us to our site and made us feel very welcomed. Then we went into the office and had a fun time talking to Shannon and her friend. Our family LOVED the private beach (even though it was so foggy!), and the bathrooms were very clean and cared for. We actually liked that their campground is a well-established rv park that has been in business a really long time. They are absolutely family oriented and kind and considerate. They gave us suggestions about the Tillamook Creamery and other places to visit. We wished we had many more days to stay and hang out in our great site at this sweet campground. Thanks for helping our family build happy, life-long memories.

The hosts of this RV park, Joe and Kathy were very friendly and helpful. It was fun talking to them. Never a negative word. The showers, while a little on the older side, were clean and well maintained. The beach is right there - takes only minutes to walk on the sandy beaches. It was VERY quiet and relaxing. The location was just right for us - we took morning trips to area attractions including Tillamook Cheese Factory and the Pioneer Museum which is a must. The little town outside of Shorewood was a joy to investigate. I would definitely stay here again.

We visited Shorewood RV Park last week. We found this park very quiet and a nice place to visit. Our camp site which was on the end gave us the atmosphere of camping in the woods with the big trees. The owners were a very nice couple who were kind enough to take us to our site and help us park so that we were able to drive out of it with ease. I would recommend this place to anybody. It was great. Also the ocean is about 150 yards from the park.

we are new to RVing and we stayed at the Shorewood RV park in Rockaway beach. What a beautiful place to stay. The park was clean and easy to get into. We have a 35' RV and we had no problem getting in and parking. The staff is friendly and helpful You are right on the beach! it is a great place to visit. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing time on the beach with nice friendly people.

I wanna start this review by saying that I rarely give out 5 star reviews.

Reason being that there is always room for improvement.

Doesn't matter what, there is always room to grow.

Let me then go on to say that these people have this down to an art.

They are absolutely killing customer service!

I have never seen such a beautifully maintained RV park.

Here's a few things:

Location, location, location!

You're at most a minute walk from the beach anywhere you are here! Full hookups, public bath house, WiFi, and laundry all inside a gated community. Minutes away from Rockaway and about a half hour drive from Tillamook to the South.

The beach is freaking pristine.I didn't want to leave.

There are no fires allowed in the actual park, but they are allowed on the beach, as it is public.

Bathrooms, while being public, were by far the cleanest that I've seen, with good water pressure and a book exchange!

I plan on staying here again!

I'd recommend this to any lovers on a first time Oceanside trip, just as quickly as I'd recommend a family reunion with plenty of little children!

Words don't express the beauty and peace that you feel while basking in such splendor... Left feeling so relaxed even with our five children. Awesome experience I would recommend as a must do for anyone.

The Shorewood RV park is tucked away from the hustle and bustle. It's a nice quiet little Park that's right on the beach. They have a shower/bathroom building that is cleaned every day. The managers and owners are very nice people. I will definitely be returning to this place. Staying at the Shorewood RV park really felt like being at home.

The accommodation need a face lift. I would recommend planting some fuller trees, bushes/greenery around the RV park. and remodeling the shower/restroom areas.

Love love love this place! In fact I’d like to give it one star so no one else will come here !! This is a small rv park and there are a lot of permanent/ sold spots so short term spots are limited but they are so worth the wait. Friendly staff, very quiet, rules are enforced, so it feels really safe here. Beach access right in the park. Wish I could stay here every weekend!!

We stayed all the way up the coast, this was our FAVORITE stop! Very close sandy beach access. The workers / owners were more than helpful. We also had a major issue with our truck and the owner drove us into town to get parts, and even came back several times to Check on us!!!! We will for SURE be back!!! Amazing clean place with AMAZING people! highly recommend!

Wonderful location! Quiet and right on the beach. It is like going back 30 years in time. Sites are a bit squashy but the location is fantastic. The beach is at your doorstep.

Older park but spotless n right on the ocean. One of the best we stayed in on our trip along the entire Oregon coast. Staff always friendly n helpful. This is our second time here(from the Midwest), and intend to stay here next trip.

Best "beach access campground" around. Friendly staff and mostly older-quiet campers. Family safe! We've been coming here for over four years and look forward to many more visits.
