Bruce's Barber Shop

Bruce and Joey are both excellent barbers. They do a fantastic job of cutting hair. They charge a fair price for outstanding work, unlike many other barbers out there that do quite the opposite. The conversations between them and the customers are absolutely hilarious and they do a great job of making you feel welcome.

My barber is Bruce. Does a good hair cut. Been going there for many years. The look of the place has been updated, 2 more barber's have been added. The price has gone up considerable of late, but still in line with prices elswhere.

Ive been coming to Bruce for about 10 years and never have had a bad experience. He has had some health issues and I’m sure would enjoy the business. Come support Bruce guys, and girls if you want an amazing barber.

If you're looking for a legitimate old school barber shop in the Hillsboro area, this is it. He even stayed a bit late to get me a haircut same neck shave.

I walked in to get a haircut on short notice, and was very pleased with the result! The line wasn't long and the haircuts in front of me were quick. The only thing is that they don't take card, only cash. I could tell the barber cared about me getting a cut that I wanted and that looked good. Very reasonable prices for a quality service you won't find elsewhere. I will definitely be returning here!

Funny, fast, and obviously talented, Bruce and his companion have earned their place in the barber shop world. I came in with an overgrown undercut and Bruce cleaned it up in a matter of minutes. No bs, great prices, and wonderful service.

Best barber shop in town! You get a much better cut for a much lower price. I always leave a big enough tip, so the total cost of getting my hair cut, is the same as the price at those other shops (which don't do as good a job).

Went there for the first time today. Great barbers, very, very reasonable prices, good conversation. If you want fancy pants stuff this isn't for you, if you want a great haircut done by professionals at a reasonable price, pleasant, friendly staff, this is the place.

Absolutely hands-down the best barbershop anywhere in the world. Why? Bruce and Joey are absolutely awesome they do a great job for a reasonable price. It's great to have Manland again.

Joey over at Bruce's is the kind of straight forward Barber who knows his stuff that makes me happy to go to this long established barbershop in downtown Hillsboro. Friendly heads up this place is cash only and prices vary between Bruce and Joey so make sure to check both boards!

A good ole-fashioned palaver shop. The modern age version of Floyd's in Mayberry. Any wait-time is negated by the sheer entertainment. New barber Joe is busy injecting some life into the place and it shows. Old barber Bruce is, well he's just Bruce. :-)

You don't stay in business over 30 years by bumbling through your occupation.

This place is super old school and awesome! You don't get a beer with your cut, but you do get great conversation and a great cut. Feels like what it would have been like to get your hair cut in small-town Oregon in the 1970s.

Price is on point for the service. Still offer hot towel and straight razor with your haircut included in your price. Great spot for a cut and some good old fashioned barbershop talk!

Dropped in here because another appt I had was late and I need a haircut. Now I'm tempted to drive 45 minutes here regularly for a cut. Awesome place. Great cut, better atmosphere.

Been getting haircuts from Marty and Bruce for as long as I can remember, and they’ve never given a bad cut. Very nice guys to talk to while getting a cut.
