Top tier Shop! Donna was communicative and beyond helpful with scheduling and getting me an estimate quickly. Josh is an incredible and skilled mechanic who went above and beyond to answer my many questions, fix my van, and to get me travelling safely again.

The folks at this shop operate with integrity and kindness, they are knowledgeable and incredibly capable, and I would recommend this shop to everyone needing any type of vehicle assistance.

Me and the wife were on vacation in Netart Oregon, our car battery was in need of replacing. So first thought was find a Napa near me. I don't mind paying more money for parts generally to get good parts and help if I'm in a bad way(I didn't have any tools with me) the guy at Napa told me they can't change the battery for me to call Coleman's automotive I call the gal on phone was a sweetheart and told me grab the battery from Napa and come right over. And Coleman's hooked me right up(literally) my car is a 2017 Ford escape and the battery is not the easiest one to get to but they replaced it for us and got us back on the road. I payed them more than the $20 they billed me for..would highly recommend these guys. I have found in the past when driving a newer car and appearing to have money and most importantly not having grease on my hands some will try to take advantage of a bad situation. Not these guys! Keep on keeping on guys thanks again!

We were heading back over the pass towards Portland when my transmission went out. We were broke down in an area that had absolutely no cell service and cars just do not stop for people nowadays. Fortunately, we had a tow truck driver pass by and he was kind enough to help us out. (That is a whole other story) He took us back down the hill to a little place called CAR (Coleman Auto Repair) in Tillamook Oregon. I cannot say enough about this auto shop. Donna and Barbara were amazing. They took all of our information down right away and got right to work trying to price out our problem. They were kind and friendly and most importantly, they are real, down to earth people that care about others. We left our car there over night and the next morning I called to report that I had to have the car towed to the Portland area because of a possible recall issue. These folks were not mad or bitter about losing business. On the contrary, they were very supportive and enthusiastic about us finding the best possible solution to our problem. We were so taken back by their positive responses to our situation. Please don't judge a book by its cover, the shop is not what you might expect at first glance but these people care and I believe they care deeply. Give them a shot. I have a feeling you won't be disappointed.

Came out to Tillamook on vacation and had my battery light come on. There aren't a ton of choices in Tillamook, but I googled what was around and eventually ended up with Coleman. They told me they were busy, but they they'd be happy to take a look if I bought it in. Arriving there I met a mechanic who happily dropped what he was doing abd evaluated my vehicle. After consulting with another mechanic they decided it was likely my alternator (which is what I expected going in). They told me they couldn't start immediately, and that I'd have to wait, but they they could get it done that day. Having no other place to be, and no way to get there I sat with the shop boss, Donna, who did her best to get me a ride. After sitting for about 2 hours, and trying to get that ride, one of the mechanics came in and said he was almost done with my car! I couldn't believe it! Apparently "we can't start right away" meant I had to wait about half an hour for them to begin!

At any rate, I was really impressed with how fast they handled it, and how friendly they were. I got told the estimate right up front, and it was entirely accurate.

As far as being out of your element when you're from out of town, I've been there a lot, and you could do a whole lot worse than the fine people at Coleman.

Great bunch of folks, have a great work ethic and are extremely competent in their work. Down to earth and seem to go the extra mile when needed. Did a great job for us despite a few things that came up after ( as will sometimes happen) we highly recommend Coleman Automotive and we will return when we have the need.

I started noticing some front-end problems with my truck and I work out of town, I called up Coleman and they got me in 2 days later and fixed my front-end issues that same day so that I could get back to Idaho for Thanksgiving with my family. My truck is driving great and I feel safe for my long trip home. Great mechanics and staff that explain everything to you up front and keep you informed. I will be using them in the future, thanks to all of you.

We brought our Jeep in with a bucking or a hiccup while accelerating. After several days of eliminating issues, Josh and his team found the issue and resolved it. We were traveling through and had no way of leaving our vehicle and getting back to our camper. Donna took time from her day to take me back to our camper so I wasn't stuck all day. The day before while trying to diagnose , they shared their pizza with me as I had not been able to leave and get lunch. They are a compassionate, knowledgeable, patient and professional group. I would take my car to them every time I had an issue if we lived in the area. We are grateful for all their efforts and their kindness. They are very fair on pricing and are very up front and honest.

I came to Coleman because my truck was misfiring. They went above and beyond! They fixed my the issue with ease and had me on my way in just a couple hours. They also gave me a tune up and had my truck sounding like new. Couldn’t recommend these guys more! Thanks for the phenomenal service!

These guys are the best auto repair I've ever experienced. My RV would not start -- they scheduled me quickly, drove out to me, and had me up and running quickly at an extremely reasonable price. I had paid another mobile mechanic the same price and they simply replaced my blown fuse and told me not to drive it too much. If these guys were located closer to home I would never bring any of my automobiles anywhere else. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Josh Coleman is the man you want to see.

My RV starter went at Tillamook Cheese Factory and I was stuck. I had a difficult time getting a 36 ft. RV towed to a repair place, actually happened the following day. I called Coleman Auto repair in the morning and they kindly told me to get in and they would fix it that day, which is difficult to even get same day repair these days. Turns out the towing company didn’t get to me until 5 1/2 to 6 hours latter. I was sure I was stuck again in Tillamook another day. When the tow truck pulled into Coleman, I think it was after 5:00 pm and Donna assured me they would try their best to get it done that day. I was truly amazed, they went out immediately to get the correct starter and stayed there until the job was finished. I found these people astonishing. In today’s world it would be hard to find such wonderful people. Thank you Coleman Auto repair.

They are absolutely amazing. I took my car here after another mechanic was working on it and it was an older car and there was a lot wrong with it, I mean a lot, thank goodness for these guys, they were willing to work with us 💯 percent. We Love them! And we couldn't be more grateful that this mechanic shop locally owned is in Tillamook. We will NEVER let anyone else work on our cars. We are actually taking two more cars here. They are incredible and know exactly what they are doing. They are definitely in this business to help this town and every single one of their workers have their heart and soul into their job. This now a days is almost impossible to find people like the Coleman's. My family and I so appreciate all your hard work!

From the initial phone call to the business to the completion of my truck repair, Coleman Automotive went above and beyond. Very friendly folks, honest, and professional. We were from out of town with an issue and they got me in quickly and finished the job in half an hour. Highly recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My partner and I were in a bind and needed an oil change, Donna was able to get us in that same day. We ended up showing up early as we were afraid to drive the car elsewhere, lol. The mechanic greeted us promptly and began to service our truck even though we were early! Another mechanic soon began helping him, and they even helped us out with some transmission fluid problems. Everyone was so kind, professional, knowledgeable and helpful! The cost can't be beat either. We are so incredibly thankful for your help and will be lifelong customers! Thank you again!
