Minglewood Harborside

Overall excellent experience all things considered. The appetizers were very good. Drinks were all well poured. Entrees were good with a few misses but nothing major. We happened to have some music as well which was nice. Our server was great.

The food was delicious and there was a very good selection. All of us were pleased with our choices and they varied quite a lot across the board from sushi to a burger to pasta and children's menu items.
Service was perfect. Atmosphere was fine. I loved the music they were playing.

Fresh sea food and a good size menu. Outside seating was nice. Wait staff was prompt and very courteous. Food came out quickly.

First visit - won't be my last. My friend ordered a baked haddock dish which she loved. I got the orange chicken bowl and it was yummy. Would go back just for that. We both had wine, which we enjoyed - some interesting choices. Service was terrific. Highly recommend.

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at Minglewood Harborside, and from the moment I first emailed Zack, everything went perfectly, easily, and smoothly! The food was delicious, every staff member was lovely, and the private room was ideal. And I cannot stress how easy and stress free the organization was. Zack responded quickly with answers to every little question and he personally made sure all we had to do was show up and have a great time with great food & drink. Thank you Zack and everyone at Minglewood Harborside for a perfect night!

We came from NH to sail on the Thomas Lannon. We stopped in at the Minglewood Harborside as it was close and parking nearby was available. We were greeted warmly and escorted to a table on the deck. We ordered beers, all cold and tasty, and I delighted in the gorgeous Lietz riesling, ice cold and dry. A group of five, we ordered Fried clams, Mussels with wine and fennel,
Fish taco, sushi and Pulled pork! As we waited a small while, we thoroughly enjoyed the balmy sea breezes and the fishing boats coming and going! When food arrived, every single item was fresh, expertly prepared and served in a short time frame. I honestly almost wanted to forgo our sail and stay longer! We will definitely return to this great spot on the Gloucester restaurant scene! Highly recommended!

Service was exceptional, food was fresh and tasty, we were told the seafood is straight out of the ocean and locally purchased and I had no reason to think otherwise, we sat at the bar chatted with others and embraced the atomosphere. The sushi was a highlight

My friends in W Gloucester took me this restaurant and I loved the food, bar setup and it was a perfect place for sports lovers as they had multiple TVs.
My favourite was the seafood platter and it was so fresh and crunchy!! Most of the tables have a good view of the sea and they’ve patio during Summer.

Everything was great! It was pretty busy for a Sunday night, but the service was quick. The drinks were creative and strong, always a plus. The fried pickles were delicious! I had a Chinese Chicken Salad which was fresh and tasted great, the dressing was very good. I also had a sweet potato roll as well and was surprised by the quality of sushi at a non Asian restaurant! My partner had the lobster roll which he enjoyed and the price was about the same as anywhere else. Would definitely return next time we’re in the area.

We had an amazing experience at Minglewood Harborside on a Tuesday night of early November. We ordered lobster, haddock, corn, cesar salad and roasted sweet potato.
The food was great and the service was perfect. The space is very big and they were having trivia night but there were not so many people.

A very nice place! The food was very delicious, the salad was very good and unusual. The only thing I didn’t like was the seasoning on the fries! The drinks were good. The service was very friendly and helpful.

found this place on the way home from NH, cutest place to grab lunch!! we sat outside right on the harbor, it was perfect! our waitress was so nice and on top of everything. the food was absolutely amazing. and those nachos were probably the best i’ve ever had. this place is about 3 hrs from where i live, but i would make the drive simply to go back for their nachos!!

Great diverse menu options, something for everyone. Highly recommend parmesan fries were very good and Tuna King sushi roll was great also. Seasonal Drinks were fantastic!

I have had the pleasure of dining in all of the SERENITEE restaurants and all of my meals have been delicious and the service excellent!!! I strongly recommend if you are in the areas of their establishments.

I recommended Minglewood to a friend recently. I was told it cost much more than expected. Minglewoood has a MANDITORY TIP for takeout @15%. I thought wages and food costs were already factored into the price of the meal.

Additionally my friend was charged a $1 fee for ordering takeout (why?) and $1 bag fee (Why?). Needless to say I was embarrased. If I had known all of this, I would never have recommended Minglewood.

Comsumer beware of added fees. Please make sure you know what you are being charged. This definitely changes my opinion and I would certainly not recommend Minglewood to anyone in the future.

Best seafood and drinks we’ve had all summer…such a great afternoon ! Can’t wait to visit again from New Hampshire !

The best food, great service & beautiful outdoor seating on the water (also nice indoor seating too)! The restaurant is really clean and they have social distance seating and many outside tables on their dock on the water. The food is some of the best we've eaten in the Gloucestor/ Rockport area, great homemade ranch dressing, my favorite cobb salad, and there is a kid's menu, and meals besides seafood. Full bar and good coffee too!

By far the best sword fish i have ever eaten...we went back 2 days in a row for the sword fish and fish tacos....the truffle fries amazing as well. They have trivia tuesday nights, open mike nights and a dj no matter what night you go there is something fun going on. Good beer selection and very attentive staff all the way around. Parking is a bit of an issue but you can park in the public lot 2 lots down.

Her name is Shawna and she is an Absolute Angel !!! This woman took on a football team of vibrant energetic young men that just won a huge hit from an undefeated team today…. Pretty much by yourself!!!! Great job to her Great job to EVERYONE INVOLVED!! GO GLOUCESTER 🏈💗💪🏻🇺🇸
