Quiet restaurant, very clean, a little bit romantic, and welcoming. Phenomenal food!
I can't wait to come back next time we visit the area.

We visited Zabagliones during our recent trip to Ipswitch. What a treasure this place is. We all ordered different dishes and we were not disappointed. Every dish was presented beautifully. Excellent service, excellent food. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

I can't believe this place averages less than 4.5 stars. I have been to Zabaglione four times over the last two years and am consistently impressed with the food, ambiance, and service. At times they are understaffed and that is reflected in slower than normal service, but why would you want to rush your meal at a place like this? It is so cozy, comfortable, and delicious. I love the mushroom ravioli and lasagna while my husband is a big fan of the fra diavolo and chicken parm. It is a gem of an Italian restaurant on the North Shore. Highly recommend giving it a shot!

Cozy Italian restaurant locally! Been here twice in the past few months. Delicious both times. The meatballs are so flavorful, the calamari has a delicious sauce, the Fettuccini Al Pepe is one of my favorite meals ever. The servers are super nice. Definitely recommend!

Top quality food! Best Italian around! A hidden Gem! Better be patient though his food takes time! You want fast food go elsewhere! You better not try to alter your order either that’s a no no. The screams and yelling heard from the kitchen is just him putting his all into your meal! If you can’t handle the Heat stay out of Zabs! This spot will knock your socks off! So will the Owner so be ready! Love the chance of getting my head chewed off for picking up my order 2 minutes to early but the food is worth the risk! Highly recommend! So glad they made it through covid!

The food, drinks, and ambience at Zabaglione's are all top notch. There are a lot of good Italian restaurants on the North Shore but this is my favorite. Somewhat quiet and relaxing with nice music. The Chef is one of the best in the North of Boston area. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely delicious! We’ve lived in Ipswich for a bit but just tried the restaurant for the first time. After getting it for take out, we were blown away by the quality and can’t believe we hadn’t tried it sooner. Definitely plan on ordering from them on a regular basis!

Worth a return trip. Sunday dinner was quiet, staff was pleasant. Food came out timely and looked great. Chicken parm had a much lighter coating than I am use to. It was really good. They were out of riesling, but the house pinot was nice. Overall good experience.

The Northend of Boston in Northeast of Mass. Great real Italian in a nice setting in Ipswich Ma. Had a great Octopus salad & Puttanesca main In their outside street side lighted tent with subtle Italian music. Always great food and service

True Italian gem in Ipswich. The food here is as good as or better than what I’ve had in the North End. Caesar salad is absolute perfection. Presentation is beautiful, portions are plentiful.

Tried to recall when I had a better meal and found it hard. I had the lobster ravioli which I realized was a mistake when the stuffed veal chop and Saltin Boca, not to mention the filet, arrived for the others in the party. Due to the large portions I ended up with a bit of chop and Saltin Boca, but don't ask for any splits (see 'of note'). The ravioli was outstanding, by the way.

Of note:
slow service (not a huge deal for me, have a drink or go to Bertucci's insteads).

owner/chef apparently has a reputation for dealing with any requests/issues that stray from the narrow confines of his expectations with psychotic episodes (not sure how to incorporate this into a review, plus it's hearsay).
