Devastated to hear that they are closing. Food and service was always excellent and absolutely delicious. It was our go to place. We will so miss it… thank you for many years of wonderful dinners and parties celebrating birthdays. Best of luck on the next chapter!

This was the old Hearthside restaurant and has been under new ownership for quite a while. They do a great job getting folks seated and keeping things moving forward. Wait staff is excellent, they'll remember what you order after a couple of times and bring you the food out piping hot w good portions. We don't drink but hear the drinks are well made. One of our favorites is the fried clams with the tartar sauce. A lot of places offer them but few match the quality here. Great for an appetizer while waiting for your meal. Ample parking easy access... Enjoy!

Celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at the Windward. Great food, waitress was pleasant and stopped by our table often. The bread was delicious. Fisherman's platter and fried scallops were superior!! Waitress surprised us with a celebratory cake! This restaurant is highly recommended any time you are in the area.

Delicious. Impressive seafood selection with dish variations that were tough to decide on. Comfortable, cozy environment with an excellent staff. We will be back.

Love this place!! The haddock was done perfectly, the waitress & staff were wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better night.

Joined my cousin, her husband and another couple for dinner. My husband had haddock, baked scallops for me. All was very good. Highly recommend for dinner - need a reservation.

What a wonderful place to eat. The food and drinks are terrific and very reasonable. I believe I’ve had just about everything on the menu except some desserts, and I’ve never been disappointed. Vicky and Tim know how to run a fantastic waitstaff and bar. The waitstaff is pleasant, efficient and always willing to help. I have my favorite waitresses but every one is professional and gracious. Thanks for being so special in an age of mediocrity. When you care, it shows. Special Kudos go out to Courtney who is the consummate waitress.

On vacation. Went for dinner. Got great reviews so checked it out. My kinda place all the way. Very charming and friendly atmosphere. Excellent service and outstanding food! Had steak tips and added stuffed shrimp. Fabulous. Clam chowder, scallops and stuffed clams were awesome. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and done right. Best baked clams I've ever had, and I've had plenty growing up on Long island.

Food and service was great as usual. We have been going there for years. We'll be sorry to see them close.

Love this place. Owner run and staff is so engaging. Excellent service, awesome cocktails and a wide variety of delicious food all prepared to perfection. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Plenty of bar space too.

Family met for dinner-we love this place!!! Always consistent; always good; always friendly; always have a great time!! We have been going here for more than ten years and will continue to eat here!!

A quaint restaurant with a friendly wait staff. We arrived for our reservation and our table was ready and they didn't blink an eye when we added one at the last minute. The food was delicious. Came out hot and the fried seafood was not at all greasy. We had a great Mothers Day lunch here.

This is my favorite place for dining out wit friends and family. I've been dining here for years I first went there when it was Dexter's Heat Side. It was very good then but since the new owners purchased it it is fabulous .The owner is always present tr waitress are all very nice. If you have a large group you can go to the second level where it is very private. Since the corvid situation they have it spaced out nicely. The steak tips are to die for. It's my favorite. Wife likes there haddock.

First time having dinner here, food and service were great!! Got the French onion soup to start delicious. Duck with butternut squash ravioli, buttered spinach and mashed butternut for my entrée fantastic. My husband got the soup and steak with bourbon pepper sauce he loved it....

This is an outstanding resteraunt in a charming building. The menu is amazing and the food is fabulous! The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We were visiting from out of town but if we lived near by I can assure you we would be there every week. If you are in the area this is a must.

Having dined at the restaurant since it became the Windward and previously, with two owners of the Hearthside, the service and the food would and will please the most discerning Epicurean.

The owners are gracious, concerning, and diligent in providing not only generous servings, but waitpersons exemplify five-star standards.

Dining at the Windward is always a Pleasant Memory and wanting to return.

Our first time here. Our 35th Anniversary. Kayla K., our waitress was very attentive. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was great. Definitely coming again. Oh yeah, the chowder is THE BEST.

Always an enjoyable experience at Windward Grill. Owners, Tim and Vicky are warm and welcoming. Victoria's most excellent culinary skills are a delight! If you haven't had a chance to experience Windward Grill. I highly recommend it. Sitting by the fireplace is makes for an intimate dining room.

I had the seafood casserole which was delicious. I was with 6 others who had seafood, lamb and chicken that was just as good. Only one person had chicken fingers that were not very good. Their martinis were different and very very good. Can't wait to go back.

Like the Century House in Peabody, this is an older set crowd but the food here is amazing. Terrific service, quiet and set in an (1700's?) converted farmhouse. Quaint and charming with amazing food and a limited but excellent wine selection. We go on special occasions since it can get pricey especially if you are having alcohol with your meal. Highly recommend the tenderloin with asparagus and goat cheese appetizer and or the scallops wrapped in bacon appetizer. De-lish!
