Cape Falcon Lookout

Trail is mostly under tree canopy shade, so excellent for hot sunny days and dogs that struggle with heat. Much of the trail has significant tree root exposure, which may trip you up occasionally. Moderate incline and decline provides enjoyable challenge. Views at the end are quite worth the journey.

Amazing, magical place to visit. The views would be among the most picturesque in the world. The trail to get there was extremely muddy at end of April. Take a zoom lense with you if you can, great opportunity to shoot sea birds on rock outcroppings.
Find a secluded spot, gaze into the deep ocean and soak in the marvel of nature

The hike is easy. The views are beautiful. Don’t forget to stop at the Short Sand Beach. And yes, it’s moody.

Outrageously beautiful hike. Not too much elevation gain, some technical parts with roots, and SO MUDDY. As in, unavoidable sloshy mud pits. Ideally, wear tall waterproof boots or galoshes. Totally worth it for the views.

Nice trail with intermittent views. Continue on to the end of the point from the lookout to see the best view!

Beautiful hiking trail and the view is so worth it

Absolutely stunning hike and view!! The trail was full of beautiful roots to maneuver over and around, plenty of wildlife and little creeks. The beach is a good spot to surf and located in a cove so the wind isn't bad at all.

Muddy. I mean MUDDY, but a great view. Time it right and the waves crash hard throwing water about 20feet high.

Great views. Trail is a bit muddy, but you should be ok if you wear hiking boots.

Trail feels like you're in Jurassic Park.
