Seaport Grille

First time here! I don't eat seafood, but my bf LOVES it, so I was a little nervous. But I didn't need to be! There were plenty of other dishes available. The atmosphere was comfortable - the view was nice. The food was awesome - the service was perfect! He got seafood Ciopinno or something (I forgot the name) but it was HUGE- it was loaded with lobster & shrimp & calamari & octopus. He couldn't even eat half. I got a turkey bacon club. The French fry chips were so good and so unique - LOVED THEM! The turkey was quality meat and perfect! Stacked 3 high, so I had lunch for the next day too! Would recommend! 5 stars all the way!

Wonderful oysters and fantastic baked stuffed lobster. Clam chowder pretty good and Milo loved the beef filet. The employees were really nice and I'm super impressed by the friendliness of the local people. Real good experience for me.

The food here was AMAZING! Good portion sizes, fresh, and flavorful. The waitress was very friendly. Inviting atmosphere and overall very wonderful experience. We had clam chowder soup, coconut curry muscles, sword fish and sea bass all so delicious!! Highly recommend eating here!

Great restaurant on the water! Parking available if you’re early. I loved the whole belly clams and the homemade tartar sauce! Service was excellent. You definitely have to eat here.

My wife and I love the Seaport Grill, especially on Wednesday when they serve $1.50 oysters. These oysters are the real deal, not the small oysters. The firecracker shrimp and fried clam appetizers are great, large serving, excellent quality. Check out the beet and squash salad. Specialty cocktails are very good. This is the best seafood restaurant in Boston area!!! I love the Cioppino soooo much. Perfect and satisfying seafood stew. Taco is amazing too! I love the seasoning with fried shrimp. Fries are well made and delicious. The grilled octopus is surprisingly tasty. I definitely will come again even though I have to drive more than 1 hour to here.

We arrived around 5:30 on a Sunday evening and were seated quickly. Our server (Gabby) arrived at our table within two minutes of our seating. She was very friendly and helpful. She answered our questions and took our orders. The food arrived quickly (within ten minutes) and was hot off the grill. My wife and I were both very happy with the food. Were ordered the haddock and fried shrimp. The haddock was breaded and tasty. The shrimp had the tails removed, making them easy to pop. The portions were healthy and the prices were reasonable, given the portion size and restaurant location. All the tables were filled, so other people also seemed to like it. The chocolate cake we had for desert was a tasty (although slightly dry), four layer monstrosity.
In short: a great ambiance, friendly staff, tasty food, and large portions. We will definitely go again, when we're in the area.

Love the steamer clams, big and fresh. Oyster today is quite small but fresh! Everything comes in big plates. Service is great too.

This is an excellent seafood place right on the water. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. We were there to visit Salem and a server from a restaurant in Salem actually recommended this place. The crab avocado appetizer was amazing.

Absolutely delicious, I drive a truck and it appeared to fancy for a trucker, not the case. People were kind and welcoming even though I may have looked homeless wearing a beni on my head and after doing 7000 plus miles. Super kind people. Portion was wonderful. These people appeared to love their customers. A-Plus. Awesome...

Out server Stefanie was very nice, prompt, friendly, and accommodating. Loved her! Great knowledge of the food and drinks.

The portions were pretty generous and this place did not skimp out on the seafood. We ordered the lobster roll and it had more meat than slaw which was wonderful when you're on the hunt for a good lobster roll on the east coast!

The margaritas were absolutely huge! (They were the three in with the blue background on the drink menu- absolutely tasty!).

We came in on Tuesday around 2pm and were able to be promptly seated outside without a wait!

Bathrooms were spacious and clean.

There was plenty of hassle free parking.

10/10 would recommend and return.

The food was great. Our server was very friendly and patient. The food came out quick and was super fresh and delicious. Portions were big. Definitely what we expected.

Excellent Service, Food, atmosphere!!! The drinks, appetizers, and entrees were so delicious. They were really busy but still gave amazing service and the Lobster Cobb Salad was Amazing!!! Save room for dessert! They all looked so good but the Oreo dessert was to die for!

The fried clams were perhaps the best I've had in Gloucester ever and the lobster roll had big chunks of lobster meat, was very fresh and tasted great. The handcut French fries were good too.

Out of town visitor here. I was greeted by a very polite hostess and placed my order. This is the Lobster roll and fries. The amount of Lobster on this roll is insane. And it's absolutely delish! If I'm ever in town here again, I'll be back.

We were lucky and got a quick table! Nice view! Great food! Thank you for the service! We love the shrimp tacos and the fishermans plate! So filling! I also had the lobster roll before and it’s amazing!

A nicely run restaurant all around. Right from the start-gracious hostess, friendly and efficient waiter, great Cosmo from bartender and the chefs prepared an awesome fisherman's platter. And the view! Fantastic. I highly recommend this food establishment and if you're not that hungry, sit at the bar and enjoy the ambiance, cocktails and talking to the nice patrons and fabulous bartender(s).

The menu is very extensive, everything looked amazing, was hard to decide! I had the halibut and asparagus, it was delicious. The fried calamari for an appetizer was so good. The portions are big, the view of the water and fishing boats was pretty awesome too!

We were looking for casual dining with options (I enjoy seafood, my companion does not). The restaurant is lively and appears to be popular with locals. I had the Seaport Swizzle and Tuna tartare - the drink was quite good and the tuna was exceptional. My companion was more traditional with a rum and coke and the Sully Burger - which went over quite well.

Nice place by the water, Linda provided fantastic service, and the food was good.
