One of the best dining experiences of our New England trip. We appreciate higher end restaurants that are accommodating to small children. The staff and especially our server were very welcoming and friendly. We had the carbonara with housemade pasta and the roasted half chicken. Both outstanding. Solid wine list too.

Amazing atmosphere and ambiance. I went in with my husband on a winter night and the staff was super nice and the food was great. Highly recommend the gambas, the Red duck Curry and the blackened salmon. The drinks were unbelievable, the bar staff was amazing. We met a young man who worked the bar named Henry, amazing!!

It’s our date night place for me and my husband. Our favourites are mussels and Jona’s crab. 🤤 However each dish in the menu has my five stars mark!

Excellent dining experience. The fish, the duck, the cooked vegetables. And an excellent service in a cozy, upscale dining room with photographs from the Rockport Granite quarries worth an art galley. 5 stars all around.

Feather and wedge is my favorite fine dining restaurant in Massachusetts. The food is fantastic. I’ve never been a fan of broccoli rabe before but I get it with the steak fairly often nowadays. The staff is also stellar. Highly recommend.

Get the chicken!! Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. The mashed potatoes and green beans were delicious. The mussels had a lovely sauce and the best toasted bread to dip. The pear salad was a great starter. One our way in a gentleman highly recommended the sole. Our waitress was friendly and had great humor - when asked if there were specials she responded, “they’re all special” and I certainly agree. Definitely recommend! (And check out the art gallery next door - Sidoti Gallery of Fine Arts!)

Place was everything we had hoped. Went here after leaving another restaurant. We should have gone here first.

Server was great. Place was vibrant and full of pictures from Rockport's past, which gave it a great vibe. Food was outstanding. I had the lamb and my wife had the sole. The sole was next-level.

Highly recommend.

This place is a gem! I was greeted by Justina at the bar promptly, she was amazing. I read the menu and loved the fact that their menu is small but the choices on it are just the best. I ordered the Sole Meunière, pan seared to perfection, top with capers shallots, served with Yukon mashed potatoes and sautéed string beans. For desert I had the panna cotta, by far one of the best I ever had. If you eat here, you will be delighted. Don’t miss out on great food, you only live once!

Stayed at the Sally Webster Inn, and went here for dinner - only place in town that was open! Interior is nicely decorated and spacious with a long bar. Wine list is extensive for a small restaurant and a great selection. We all had different meals, but the pork chop was the best choice of the table! Thanks everyone at Feather & Wedge!

Loved this bar. Compared to Shea's and other "high rated" bar/restaurants...this placed beats them all. The bartender was super friendly and suggested the Jungle Juice cocktail which we loved. We ordered small plate of potatoes and damg they were good. Loved the drinks and the food...and they had someone performing some music as well giving the whole place a nice Sunday Afternoon vibe

Inside can get rather noisy, but outside on a warm summer evening, you can't beat it!
Excellent food, attentive staff, wish I didn't live so far away...

Let me start off by telling you that this place is worth the wait. I suggest making a reservation for dinner, we were just lucky enough to wait 15 minutes and get seated at the bar. This restaurant is a farm to table experience with a seasonal ever changing menu. The atmosphere in this establishment is cool, upscale and chic. Our bartender was friendly, and approachable. We started out with white wine and a craft cocktail. Both were refreshing and not overly boozy or cloying . Then we got a serving of the local oyster, which were wonderfully cold and sweet. Next we had the Mussels and let me tell you it was an out of boy experience. To say they were the best mussels I have ever had is an understatement. The mussels themselves were piled high with a fresh caught that day taste. They were served with a thick cut peice of buttery grilled bread, with thick crispy crust and a soft luxurious inside. But now to the sauce that you got to dip that bread in. The sauce was bright to the taste buds, being both sweet and savory. A perfect marriage with the mussels and pairing with my white wine. For dinner we both had the Seared Tuna with udon, carrots, and cucumbers in a scallion ginger sauce, which was a refreshing treat after our opulent mussels. The tuna was seared perfectly leaving the meat of the tuna vibrantly pink and raw in the inside. We finished our night out with the Affogato and Chocolate Lava cake. The affogato was delicious but slightly to melted for my counterpart. The lava cake was sweet but not too sweet but beautifully cut by the caramel sauce. Overall it was a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back.

Fantastic bread course with honey butter. The oysters are super fresh. The caeser is good. I didn't like the eggplant because it was described as seared and was a less successful dish. The quarryman cocktail is excellent. My dining companion enjoyed his pork chop. Great cider offerings. I would opt for the tuna tartar and hanger steak next time. Superb service. I highly recommend eating here.

We stopped in for some oysters and a drink during Sunday brunch and ended up spending a couple of hours sampling more of the wonderful food, incredibly welcoming staff and live music until well after the brunch crowd left! Sitting at the bar gave us the perfect view of everything coming out of the kitchen, and it all looked incredible! The pride they take in their food is evident in every bite. A nod to Travis for making the afternoon drinks perfect (your Espresso Martini set the high bar).
A very special thanks to Ryan for the impromptu Okonomiyaki treat! You are both Jedi and artist at your craft!!
I highly recommend Feather & Wedge to anyone visiting Rockport! We are certain to return again soon to continue experiencing the variety of flavors they have to offer....simply Amazing!!

June 2022 Addendum: A year later, and they're just as good! Still hoppin' when we left at 10pm on a Sat night. This time I had the cod and my wife had chicken. Both relatively straightforward-sounding dishes, but oh-so perfectly done! Paired beautifully with their version of the French 75 cocktail, a glass of Grabazan Albarino, and finishing off with Dow's 20 year old Tawny Port and a slice of coconut almond cake.

June 2021: A real gem of a restaurant, that's been for four years right in the heart of Rockport and somehow we're only discovering it now. We had spent the afternoon on the trails at Halibut Point and since it was already 6pm, we decided to do an early dinner in Rockport rather than drive back to Boston. Sitting outside on their deck was peaceful and not too crowded at all. The service was excellent right from the start. We got our drinks right away, and my cocktail was simply fantastic. The "Trinidad Sour" is a whiskey drink with lots of lemon and bitters, sweetened with just enough Orgeat syrup.

For main course, I had the Fish Stew and my wife had the Lobster Risotto. Both were fabulous! Unlike courses at many restaurants that want to be fancey, these weren't overly complicated, and more importantly, not too salty either. Instead the flavour of the ingredients really shone through: Plenty of lobster, offset by the creamy texture of the risotto, and the stew without any filler. It really was just four types of seafood with onion and spices. With a side order of bread, this was a perfect meal.
