I had a good experience with Alex Auto Sales. Mike was responsive and easy to work with. I had a couple of minor issues with the car after delivery (typical stuff for a 12 year old vehicle), and Mike and Antoine didn't shy away. They wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I'll buy from them again in a heartbeat.

Recently purchased my Subaru from there. I was able to test drive it on a Sunday which was awesome because most of the other dealerships are not open on Sunday. I called there on Monday and spoke to the owner, Anton and told him I was interested in the car. Wednesday I was signing my paperwork! Anton made everything so easy!! Also Mike that works there helped me out as well with insurance stuff, he got me a local agent that helped with registration. With the the help of everyone at Alex Auto Sales, I was driving my car on Friday, registered and got the inspection sticker!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a car.

It’s rare that I am able to leave an honest, positive review for a car dealer that I have attempted to buy from. The sad truth is, most of the dealerships I’ve shopped have had bad deals, ignorant salesmen, awful pricing, or some kind of ridiculous bait and switch tactic; that’s just the sad reality of the world we live in. Anton is one of the few I’ve met who is honest, upfront, and trusting. His word is good, and your word is good to him. He happened to have the car I wanted in stock. He gave me a very fair price and I agreed to purchase from him, and even though it took longer than I had expected to get the money together, he was patient and took my word that I was going to complete the sale. He delivered exactly what he promised and included an inspection sticker for the price. Car sales is a business that requires moving large volumes of inventory, and since an individual doesn’t buy cars too often, some dealers make no effort to cultivate a long-term relationship. Alex auto sales is a notable exception. I don’t plan to buy another vehicle any time soon, but if I did, they would be my first contact.

Bought a Honda si 2013 a couple months ago . The customer service was pretty good. I could only blame myself for some of this because I was such in a rush to buy a car. The paint was in horrible condition, headlights fogged up . Something very suspicious is that a week after I bought the car , the tire pressure came up , didn’t think any of it thought it was a sensor . But figured out the whole time time the rim was cracked . Also the engine light now pops up . Thankfully it’s nothing to serious since it’s a Honda . But now I won’t pass inspection for next year . Very strange how the lights popped up right after I bought the car and they did the inspection on the car. I’m guessing these codes for cleared. Just recommend taking youre time and Doing research

Buying a car here was a good experience. I was told I could take the car (2016 Subaru Forester) to my mechanic. When I asked to look underneath the car, it was put on a lift so that I could inspect it more closely. There were a couple of issues that had to be resolved after purchase. They were done in a friendly manner and to my satisfaction. The people are down to earth. I would buy from Alex Auto Sales again.

I recently bought a 2006 Nissan Altima with low miles, he paid off my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. I'm saving for a house and I take the train to work and only drive on the weekends so I barely drove the Jeep although it was my pride and joy. Alex wouldn't come down on the price of the Altima, tried to mansplain things he would have to fix on my Jeep. Nope, sorry, I just had both the front and rear brakes and rotors done, brand new rims and tires on that beast. But whatever, I digress. Here's my issue, I get the car home, bring it to my mechanic. I admit, I should've done this to begin with, but he is located in Peabody, I live in Quincy, 30 miles away. So my mechanic, says, "well the engine seems ok, but the tires are more than 65% worn, the brakes and rotors are more than 75% worn, the passenger side mirror is loose to the touch, and the flexpipe is rusted out and extremely dented." Now, Alex told me he inspected all of these things and nothing needed to be done with the car, so imagine my shock when I find out all of this work needs to be done. I think great, I have two jobs, work over 80 hours a week and don't have time to dedicate two days to drop off the car to Peabody and then have no way of getting home to Quincy. I called Alex and told him about what the mechanic found, he acts shocked and doesn't say he'll fix it, he says, "well, bring it back and we can talk." Oh no, talk about it? No thanks, I know what that means, more mansplaining of why he doesn't want or need to fix A, B and C etc etc. So I drop my car off at my trusted and reliable mechanic. I get the car back and I email Alex and attach the invoice. *Crickets* So one week later, I call Alex and say, hey, did my email go through, because you never responded or called? He starts to mansplain and say how I didn't do it right and I should've gone through him and he's not paying. LOL. Wait, you want me to trust you with the car that you knew had problems and you didn't take the time or initiative to fix? You sold me a car that wasn't safe then wanted me to drive 30 miles back with said car? Don't walk, RUN away from this place. I also tried calling again and still have yet to hear back. I just emailed for a second time and all he has to do is send a check for the repairs that were made, the total amount of the repairs was $1280. Also, the car is back in the shop for some strange noise and vibration it's making. They say it may be a motormount. I'm actually shocked he has any positive reviews because this has been nothing but a nightmare. Imagine taken advantage of someone during a pandemic.

Tried to contact about buying a car. Did respond until 2 days later. Told them I wanted to sell my truck and trade for their car. Gave them Miles and VIN haven't responded in a week. Then Lowered price on the car. Not great sales tactic.
