Brackett's Oceanview Restaurant

Delicious with an amazing view! We got the fish cakes, fish and chips, shrimp tacos, and the fried halibut sandwich (I forget the name). Everything was really good and the servers were super kind. ACd since it was such a hot day! Fish cakes were the best.

We’ll be moving soon, so we paid a visit to Rockport to enjoy a lovely sunny day by the water. Little did we know we would discover Brackett’s. What an awesome place! The food was delicious and the view was spectacular.

1) Brackett’s Fish Cakes (a local favorite!): Homemade fishcakes served with newburg
or old bay sauce.

2) Fried Shrimp Plate.

We loved everything. Couldn’t have asked for more incredible local seafood. And the service was lovely!

Great place for breakfast and lunch. With a staffing shortages, you order your food at the counter and take it to a table or to go.

Homemade donuts and pastries, great breakfast sandwiches and good hot coffee.

What a lovely lunch spot! All of the staff was so welcoming and engaging! The hostess told me more about the area since this was my first visit to Rockport. The food and drinks were great! And the view is spectacular :) what more can you ask for? Thank you for a nice relaxing meal!

The number one response you hear when you ask, "What's good at Brackett's?" is "Everything's good at Brackett's." I can't say that I've eaten everything, but what I've had so far exceeded my expectations. The menu is seafood heavy if you're into that. I don't eat seafood, but I highly recommend the BBQ pulled pork tacos with pineapple salsa. If you get the right spot, you also get a great view of Front Beach and Rockport Harbor.

Unassuming restaurant. Feels like a local favorite spot. You walk into an understated entrance . It's very rustic. The surprise is the actual dining room. Your walk into spectacular views of the harbor, people swimming, and sailboats gliding by. The food is good ,homey. Great fish. Well cooked nice selection of sides. You won't be disappointed. Make a reservation their popular.

Very pleasant dining experience. The lobster mac n cheese was delicious. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Hands down the best dining experience we had in Rockport all week. Lovely spot, great service, great atmosphere, wonderful view, and overall just an enjoyable experience that my wife and I agreed was the best of the week.

We had dinner at Brackett's last night and it was exceptional. Stacy our server was friendly and patient and on point with timing. We had delicious cocktails with fried calamari to start, and several of us had fried seafood for mains. My fried scallops were so fresh and sweet, and perfectly cooked. I didn't get a chance to try my friend's mussels before he devoured them but he had a big smile. Everyone loved their food. We can't wait to return!

Dark Sin coffee is delicious! Fresh doughnuts, muffins and pastries are amazing, lunch wraps, sandwiches and lunch choices are always fresh and yummy. Service is excellent. You can tell it is a great place because the locals love it in the heart of a tourist destination.

Love this local family run restaurant in Rockport. Usually go to the Brothers Brew part of Brackett's for coffee, fresh, homemade donuts or lunch sandwiches and wraps. Food is reasonably priced and freshly made. Unlike other retail establishments, they haven't increased their prices post covid.

We came here from South Carolina for our 40th anniversary and for my first trip to New England we had a great experience! Our last night here we chose Brackett's from the reviews which were better than all the other restaurants in the area. From the time I called to make the reservation to the end of the meal we definitely made the best possible choice. The staff was very friendly and did their best to make our last night here the perfect ending to a wonderful anniversary trip! The service, the food, the view, and even the bill was perfect!!

Rick asked for a romantic spot for us to set and dine. We were escorted threw the quaint little dining area to the patio where we could watch the ocean waves and feel the warm of the sun and the warm breeze. The waitress spent just enough time with us to get our orders and then seemingly disappeared. She seemed to always know before we ask what we wanted and brought it to us. We felt cozy and very comfortable. It was romantic and the place had an inviting appeal to it. Our glasses were never empty yet I never could figure out where she would slip off too and then suddenly appear just when we needed her. She was very pleasant and had this sense of romance about her that just added to our visit. I noted families as well as single individuals dining here. I recommend this place for your romantic adventure or just a great dining experience

Wanted a reservation at the trendier restaurant down the street before a show at Shalin Liu center. Ended up at Brackett’s Oceanview, so glad we did. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Baked, broiled, and scampi seafood all done well. Martinis and Manhattans very good. Waitress a joy. Classic. Thanks.

Brackett's has been our go to in Rockport for a few years now. The menu is relatively simple, but still plenty of good options. Everything we've ever ordered has been great. The view is great from the dining room, and the staff has always been kind and attentive. Great for lunch or dinner.

Delicious food, reasonably priced, and very friendly service. The view was excellent as well. No complaints about this place from our experience, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Rockport!

Great food, spectacular views. We tried several Rockport restaurants and this one really stands out. There was a good variety of food and drinks that were all very tasty. The asparagus burrata salad was awesome! Recommend eating here, but you might want to make reservations, gets busy.
