Cushman Market & Cafe

Cozy ambience. We went around 12PM-1PM. I ordered the Safe Hit; the cranberry mayo paired really well with the wheatberry bread and the turkey breast. It was stacked with turkey slices; I would’ve been full even without the side of chips.
Highly recommend the lavender matcha latte. I don’t usually like the texture or bitterness of matcha but the lavender cuts it nicely.
My friends got the JoJo sandwich and the Iced Americano, those were great too.

Cushman Cafe is a must try. The cozy atmosphere has a quirky vibe and great energy. The employees are friendly and accommodating. I had the "Jolly Rabbit", a 3 egg omelette with spinach, cheddar, and roasted red pepper. It was cooked to perfection and served with yummy roasted potatoes and thick sliced toast. The cheesy potatoes are also a must try. The pastry offerings are plentiful and yummy with a latte, cappuccino, or hot chocolate. This is the perfect stop for travelers just passing through, or a go-to regular spot for our locals and college students.

After hearing my cousins rave about Cushman for years, I finally had to stop in. I ordered the Big Fred with an oat milk chai. Loved the homey and rustic atmosphere as well as the scrumptious food. Will be adding this to my Amherst restaurant rotation.

Super charming gem of Amherst. It’s like a hippie Cracker Barrel. Lots of antiques, great vegan options, cool pictures on the walls, and a quaint general store with healthy, sometimes quirky, provisions. Clean restrooms and a cozy dining setting. I will definitely be adding cushmans to my rotation of restaurants around town. I had the matcha latte with soy and vegan breakfast burrito add vegan bacon. Worth the trip for sure, even got some Christmas presents for my family back home !

Quaint and a wonderful selection of organic foods wines and beverages. Great little novelties for gifts or fun. There is a cafe in the back with amazing fresh made selections all day. Coffee station with a fabulous selection fresh to grind. You will miss out on a special little spot if you haven't been here yet😉

Such a lovely cafe and market. Tried a shute and my husband tried a shrub, such unique delicious drinks. The vegan granola bar was delicious as was the lox bagel! Will definitely be stopping by again!!

A little slice of hippie heaven! I had a wonderful time at the Cushman Cafe. It's welcoming, comfortable place with many vegan and vegetarian options. It's also a neighborhood place, with families, teens, older folks and laptop workers (like me) enjoying the good food, coffee and tea drinks and solid wifi. I felt as though I'd been transported to Marin County in California. I'll be back!

The cafe has delicious sandwiches with gluten free bread available. The small shop has a limited selection of foods and goods.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. The food is ALWAYS good, and the decor is super funky and cozy. I just feel at home! Plus the staff have always been super friendly!

Great breakfast, fun and cool vibe. Good coffee. Definitely will be going back when in the area.

The vibe is cozy and hip. Very good breakfast and coffee. Not a lot of outlets but a good place to sit and work

I survive on the Pullman hobo and can find nothing comparable to have for breakfast anywhere in the valley. The vegan Reuben is amazing also, and the primrose, but you have to remember to ask them to make it on a roll, and it used to be even better when they used spicy cheese in it. But there are plenty of hot sauces they offer and even more to buy in the other half of the store, and the sandwich is even better if you add vegan sausage to it with the vegan bacon. If you miss faces, then you will find parts of the store reminiscent of the vibe, especially the ultra unique random toys and gag type things. Best atmosphere in the valley since we lost the thirsty mind years ago and then rao's later, and on top of all that there's a great train that passes by. Make sure you spiral walk the lizard across the street and admire all the unique art.

Please do yourself a favor and come here to Cushman Market and Cafe. . Cushman has great coffee and outstanding food. The breakfast sandwiches are particularly good. The staff is outstanding. There is also outdoor seating with an occasional passing train to watch. Cushman is also a neighborhood grocery store that carries a wide selection fo high quality products. OT also has a and a well selected wine section. Fresh bread is always available. Excellent rotisserie chicken is available by reservation.

Cushman market is an awesome spot with great food and coffee delivered in a cozy room with a funky vibe. Can get a bit loud and crowded but an awesome local spot!

It is really a surprise for me to find this wonderful and intimate breakfast restaurant with the Market. I bought all of their garlics,and a tiny picture book for my kid. The cashier has a angelic smile, the food is incredible meeting my flavor!

I love this place. Their breakfast sandwiches are *chefs kiss*. Everyone is so kind and the food is delicious. Weekend mornings do have long lines, so prepare to wait or order online in advance! Limited seating inside and an outside patio area.
The front market is also great!

Great funky space and cozy atmosphere. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The sandwiches were fresh and very tasty. A nice little market for a few supplies. Well worth the stop.

The convenience store part of it is super cute and convenient.They offer local and/or environment friendly products have everything you need including refills of dish sop, dishwasher soap etc… bring your own container! Waste less plastic! They offer fresh bread, have a nice offering of beers and wine.
