Be prepared to wait for this tiny but unforgettable breakfast join in the heart of Old Town. The kind and quirky waitress only adds to the charm and the food is exactly as delicious as you expect. But the real winner here is the building itself, an antique in every sense of the word. The Driftwood is legendary in sailing circles worldwide, and once you eat here, you feel like you're a part of the history of this magical little place.

I lovvvvve this place! The food and coffee is so good and they know how to keep their customers' pocketbooks happy! The fried dough!? Hell yes!... my bestie and visit Massachusetts once a year for 3 days and we love eating here every morning!

Driftwood is a special and timeless breakfast and lunch venue. The food is always fine but the atmosphere is a local treasure. Small space with tight seating and often a couple minute wait to get in the door at breakfast. worth it. bring cash.

Driftwood is incredible!! We loved the cozy, coastal vibe and our waitress was super funny, sweet, and accommodating. Not to mention the food was super delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back here!

My mom and I were visiting from ohio and this was just a couple blocks from our air BnB. It was a small place but we loved it. Breakfast was like being at home and the staff was kind, made us feel welcome and gave us tips on where to visit. We ate there 3 out of 4 days we were in town and only didn't the last day because we had to be on the road early. They are cash only but we didn't mind one bit. We loves hearing all the people coming in and out and talking about life in the area. It was a good experience!

Place is small but food is excellent and they made us feel at home. Definitely would recommend to anyone and will be back again. It's cash only, just a heads up. Wish I got the waitress's name she was on top of our coffee with refills and cream and sugar.

This place is a great trip down memory lane. It's a pretty basic diner but they do a few things really well. I think the might be something a little bit magical about coming to the harbor on a rainy day, walking up to this old but welcoming little shack, and ordering up some banana pancakes (with the bananas cooked into them!). I recommend sitting at the counter, where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee mixes well with the salt air. Try a grilled muffin, you won't regret it.

My favorite breakfast spot. Cheap and cheerful, with a great menu. Hash and eggs and fried dough are favorites. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Cash only.

Great place for an old fashioned type breakfast. After only 2 mornings there I developed a definite crush on our waitress. Maybe I'm overly prone to that IDK. But I highly recommend Driftwood for a solid meal to start the day.

If you ever find yourself in Marblehead Massachusetts go find Driftwood 10/10 recommended eating here, cheap food and a great atmosphere. Things to know first hand they only take cash. Their clam chowder is the best I have had in a long time and their fish-n-chips where just as good. Don't forget to get an order of their fried dough (I highly suggest putting butter, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and syrup on it 🤣). Our server Tori was amazing. Great mom and pop place.
