Kelly's Roast Beef

This roast beef sandwich is the best. Had it three way with, mayo, provolone cheese and their house BBQ sauce. The roll is crusty but soft, covered with sesame seeds. Delicious! The restaurant has all these great old photos hung in the restaurant of attractions and places in and around the North shore. The help needs a little bit of training, but there was a attentive manager nearby to correct the mistake. This restaurant is clean with plenty of free parking, and there is a drive thru too!

Kelly’s food is always consistent and that’s a compliment in the restaurant industry! Great Tuna Rolls and Fish Sandwiches 🥪

The service was above and beyond, I had the fish sandwiches and did not like the management quickly got something I enjoyed, the food is good and the service is awesome

The place was big I didn't expect such a big dinning room and very nice Hunter at the counter was courtes and packed extra napkins and forka the roast beef sandwich lived up to a north shore 3 way legend ask for extra BBQ sauce if you go. I wanted to go back and get fried scallops and whole belly clams but had to fly home to soon

Wicked good lobstah roll! Surf and turf is a good value even @ $20.95, pairs well with @16oz draft for $5. Not the same scenery as the beach but still enjoyable.

This place also has very friendly staff, I enjoy returning when I am in town.

Overall this place is top notch. $17 for a lobster roll, roast beef, and side combo! Best bang for you buck thats for sure, and the lobster rolls are filled with lobster not just mayo!

The clams are full bellied though my only complaint is the breading is a bit lacking in flavor, but since I usually dunk them in tarter sauce its basically a non-issue.

They got a bunch of locations so its easy to get access to as well. Definitely worth a try!

As an out-of-towner with zero expectations or knowledge of the history of this place, I can tell you that this simple (huge) roast beef sandwich was outstanding. That beef is rare and tender, not the overcooked processed stuff I'm used to. The BBQ sauce is feisty! I added some horseradish to calm it down 😁 The bun was fresh and perfectly toasted. The staff at the drive through was very patient as I asked them all my questions. I'm very sad Cincinnati doesn't have a Kelly's because I would be a regular.

I absolutely loved my time at Kelly's! I've had a roast beef you get at the deli, I've had a thick roast beef you'd get at Arby's, but this was like something I've never felt before! A group of friends walk in, with it being new to 5 of us, with 2 to spare. Without any prior knowledge aside from hearing it's the best roast beef ever, we drove well over an hour away, took time off work 3 weeks in advance, and made a day trip just to go get this sandwich. I walk up to the counter, 2nd in command, and more than likely looked dumbfounded at the train of a menu above their hulk of a counter. I took way too long to order, but I went with the Large Roast Beef sandwich, with pickles and pepper Jack cheese melted on it; and a Dr Pepper. We walk past their fishtank filled with Surgeon fish and knife jaws, and sat down in a corner booth with a diamond table. The aesthetic was really nice, everything was a muted moss green and a medium darkwood finish. There were old carnival pictures and carousel memorabilia scattered throughout the building, even housing a piece from a carousel! After waiting for a few minutes, our food came to us pretty quick, and then the moment I'd been waiting for... I grabbed the massive block of beef between 2 bubs with both hands, extending my jaws like a cobra and sank my teeth in. I pulled straight through the sandwich, with the only drag coming from the pickles who were more resilient than anticipated. I chewed for a moment, and as the final verdict I compiled everything it took for me to get to this sandwich in my hands. The weeks of planning, the convincing of coworkers, the dodging traffic, and the long day of shopping; the entire journey has been all for this sandwich, this exact moment, and it was absolutely worth it! That sandwich was big, but my determination was bigger, and my teeth cut through that beef like a blade into overgrown grass. It was thick, juicy, tangy, and salty (from the pickles), which gave it a well respected crunch to an otherwise already powerful sandwich. Every flavor was felt on your tongue, and every ingredient on your gums, it was a sandwich filled with ambrosia that only the gods could create, and for $14.28, a large sandwich, medium drink, and half hour later, I had finally concluded and it was time to go home. It's been 2 days now and as I write this I recollect the same feeling I felt that whole car ride home, that night while I lay in bed, yesterday whilst at work, and now writing this, I miss that sandwich, I crave it! I crave the taste, the feeling! It is not just a sandwich but a sandWitch, and it has placed its hex on me, for I'm not sure if I'll ever be the same... after eating the world's greatest Roast Beef.

Fast, tasty, and friendly! Great spot for lunch, tons of clean tables and lots of tasty items. In and out in 30 minutes easily.

I was amazed at the selection at a drive thru! Got the roast beef sandwich and it was huge, fresh, and delicious!

Haven't had a good roast beef sandwich for a long while. Today's visit didn't disappoint. Got a large beef 3 way. It was piled high with great tasting roast beef. Washed it down with a cold Harpoon Ipa. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Will definitely be back on my next visit.

Ordered a ton , the manager was great, forgot tarter sauce and I got some for free , food is always good

Had a really good fried clam roll, my grandaughter had the chicken finger kids plate! She loved the huge fish tank which occupied her while we waited for our food. A casual place to eat with kids!

Believe it or not it was the first time I went to Kelly's roast beef. I had one of the best fish sandwiches that I have ever had! The lady at the counter was very nice. The place was spotlessly clean I definitely would go back to this place.

Incredible clam chowder, packed with clams. Super creamy and flavorful. Most importantly - it was not too salty! The lobster roll was light and balanced and let the lobster flavor shine through.

Real chicken fingers, the absolute best. Also ordered the clam strips and scallops. Nice light, crispy batter, not greasy. Fresh tasting and convenient drive thru.

Always a classic! Big shoutout to Ryan who helped me navigate their new app rewards program and he was not wrong about their cheese fries! 10/10 would get them again. Great service and better food!

Great Roast Beef sandwich. Their Coke machines did not have many of the usual flavors. Not much atmosphere to speak of. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I have been eating at Kelly's for around 30 years now (the original Revere Beach location) Everything is good here.
