Jalisco Taqueria

Always buzzing with cars in the drive-in. Even at the late nights. Have been here multiple times and was satisfied with the food every time. This time we ordered tacos, sope and burrito. We liked the tacos better, they were juicily delicious. Sope was good too. Burrito can have more meat, felt it was more rice than meat.
Nachos are must have.
Best thing is menu is designed to be simple. If you eat only chicken(pollo), there are two types, grilled and shredded(marinated).

Been coming here since Aug 96'. Back then it was a tiny shed almost that had great tacos and burritos. They expanded to the restaurant they have now. Over the years they added a lot of new choices only to take them away. I guess they decided to stick with what they did best. Menu is small as it used to be years ago but everything is solid. They have some of the best asada anywhere because it's tender and never gristley. It gets busy in the evenings but just a sign of how good this place is.

Jalisco Taqueria is in my opinion the best taqueria in the east side of San Jose. It also has a drive thru which is very convenient. If you want some good Mexican food stop by and see for yourselves!

The cook and clerk were very kind and caring. I ate tacos. 😋 were great. They baked bread and had many choices of drinks. Small restaurant but convenient.

First time here, and so glad they have a drive-thru. The line can get long, but it moves pretty fast. The super carne asada burrito and tacos were so good, so I'll be back.

The Al Pastor here is awesome. Get 3 or 4 Al Pastor tacos with everything, and when they ask if you want pineapple, say yes. It's good.
Tacos or burritos are good. I haven't tried anything else.
The horchata is good. You can drive thru or eat in or take out.

I like this place a lot. I had the supreme burrito both times. Once with Al pastor and the other with carnitas. Both were really good quality and I enjoy refried beans instead of whole like some other places. Not too much rice in them either. In my opinion they are the best burritos on the east side 💙

Great food as usual! Line was long, but it was Friday night and they moved through it pretty fast. Great service and just what we ordered. Visit here if you're in San Jose.

Been going for a long time and I really love the tacos and burritos. Enjoy a great meal can't go wrong with this place.

I've been eating here for the past 34 years when it was just trailer! We would leave Independence H.S. for lunch and this was our spot. We watched as it became one of the busiest and best places to come get tacos late night after going out with friends. Then coming once or twice a week with all of our kids! Jalisco will always be our spot for some of the best tacos and mexican food in San Jose!

Love coming here when I'm in the area for work. The food is always great and you can't beat the prices. The drive thru line can be a little crazy for lunch and dinner but it's worth the wait. The draw a big enough crowd they could move to a bigger location if they wanted. They're also open for indoor dining. Highly recommend.

By far the best Mexican restaurant. My husband took me here once and now it's a weekly thing. Super burrito, tacos, and sangria, the best combo you can get. The sauce here is great too. There's a red spicy sauce for those who prefer spice and then there's the green sauce for those who prefer their mouths to not be on fire. I would just suggest one thing. The sauce is so good but they give you small portions in tiny capsules. Please give us bigger capsules for the sauce. Other than that, food is great, employees are great, wait times are worth the wait. I've waited from short periods to longer wait times and never had an order mixed up. Just thinking about this place is making me hungry.

We LOVE IT. The meat is well seasoned, juicy, hot and ready to go. Their enchiladas could be filled a lot more than what they do. Other than that they are delicious. The beans and rice are delicious. Sometimes when I want a vegan meal I will eat just that. The only downfall of coming to this particular restaurant. IS THAT THEY ARE SO LOVE IT IS CROWDED AND WRAPS AROUND THE PARKING LOT. This is a eating spot when you have time to wait for delicious goodness (ONLY, OR THE WAIT OR DRIVE THROUGH LINE WILL DRIVE YOU CRAZY)

I love this place! When in a hurry, I like to pick up food for my family here. The food has authentic Mexican flavors and convenient hours. The drive through can have a long line depending on the meal rush hours.
