They are also super supporting of the local photography community. They have a huge studio in the back that can be rent by photographers. On top of that they provide a discount on rental gear if you rent the studio from them.
Totally recommending it to any photographer even it’s a longer drive from downtown Chicago.

With lots of products you can shop comfortably, the shopper’s helpers will guide you through the process of decision making. Since cameras and accessories are one of the best inversion you can do while in this photography side of business. Many camera brands are its showcase here, whether new or used body or lenses, here at Procam, you’ll get tons of really nice deals. Not to mention about flashes, modifiers, lights, stands, etc. This place will satisfy your needs and, pretty much in agreement with your wallet. The staff here is super amazing, and very helpful. I can’t recall the number of times I’ve been able to count on them for help with studio solutions and odd problem solving.

They are incredibly supportive of photography education, and host many events of their own as well as local organizations and camera clubs. As the current PPANI president, we sometimes have very large groups and their sizable studio space can accommodate us. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

If you need to rent space, their studio will definitely accommodate, and you get discounts on rental equipment when you’re renting the studio.

Bought R6 used including RF lens. Very honest, sincere, and helpful staff with high quality second hand products at very reasonable price. Won't hesitate to purchase remotely of any future used cameras and accessories even without physical inspection from this store.

Thankful I found PROCAM for all my printing needs! The quality of photos 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 and large sizes is hands down the best! The colors are rich and professional (even from Iphone photos) The print and card stock quality at Walgreens and other competitors doesn't compare. Great price and speed of printing!

As a professional photographer, I am picky about where I purchase my equipment and Pro Cam is one of the top camera stores on my list. Not only do they have a great selection of the top cameras, studio equipment, and lighting, but their expert team is friendly and always eager to answer questions you have. One of the things that really sets this camera store apart from its competitors, is they also host workshops, bring in representatives from major camera and lighting brands such as Canon, Sony, and Nikon.

I don’t have enough words to properly convey how great of a job the team at Procam did converting my grandfathers old 8mm film reels to digital format. I brought in a huge pile of old film I found in my dads storage unit after he passed and they helped me organize and date the reels and then took it from there. They repaired and recolored what they could, and ultimately curated an absolutely priceless treasure trove of videos no one had been able to watch for 50+ years. I got to watch my grandparents get married, see my dad as a baby, my grandparents dropping my dad off to college in the 70’s, and SO much more. Truly cannot thank the team enough for what they did for my family and me.

I know there’s a quite a few companies to choose from when it comes to digital conversion, but this is the company you can and should trust. They are careful with the film, relatively quick, and I can absolutely attest that they are worth the price. Convert your stuff while you can! It won’t last forever.

Procam is THE BEST! Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have a wide variety of equipment and gear to cover any need you might have. Love the classroom space and all the events that Procam bring to the photography community.

This is my go to Camera Shop! The staff is super friendly and always help you find what you need. Tons of stuff on display as well. If you want to try something out they usually have one for you to try. If you bring in your body they will let you try a lens before you buy it if they have a rental or display model. They also have a ton of good video gear and lights so that is really cool since I am a cinematographer and content creator so I use alot of video centric gear as well as photography related gear. They also have alot of open box and used stuff if you like searching for deals. I haven't used their studio yet but it does look amazing in back.

If you're looking for great service and a reputable place to sell old equipment, go here. It is worth the drive.

Good people, glad to have them locally. I have showed their prices and they seem to be competitive on most items. The rental service is good with decent choices of cameras and lenses. I am looking to pick up a Canon C70 and will more than likely get it here.
