Westford Knight

Neat little shrine on the side of the road, carved out of someone's front yard. I've read about the Westford Knight since I was a little kid, so this was exciting to see. The stone itself was hard to see because it was covered with plexiglass that was dirty and covered in leaves. The bronze knight statue and the stone monument are impressive.

Nice roadside attraction with a wicked cool Historic Story. We parked down at the school and walked back up. Kinda weird it's on a major road, can get busy but you are off on the sidewalk so no issues.

A very unique part of North American history. Featured on several History Channel shows in the last 10 years and very interesting to see in person. The protective weather cover makes it hard to see the full image but imprints and photos made in the past are shown on the informative plaque. The 5 to 10 minute read tells the story of the knight and adjacent archeological finds. Easy walk from the nearby school. There is a slight gtade to the sidewalk but very manageable. Be careful of poison ivy on the tree trunks along the sidewalk.

For bit of American history that's pretty cool, check it out. Recently it has become more of an attraction. Look up Henry Sinclair and his voyage to America a 💯 years before Columbus. Check out his connection to Oak Island and Salem, MA.

It’s a very nice town

Right in downtown across from the common. Possibly Knights Templar. Interesting, but just a 5 minute stop to look see. Westford Historical society is close by, walking distance, for more information

Was pretty cool to see what was once blunt tool carving, it was hard to see, glass that surrounds the area is cloudy, but history is history!

This monument is named after Wayne Knight from Seinfeld. Very cool.
