If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would. It’s so friendly, clean, and the food is DELICIOUS. German the owner was very friendly and made sure everything was made to perfection. Definitely try the muffins if you’re stuck on what to eat. By far the best muffins I’ve had ever! 10/10 recommend this place !!!

I ordered a blueberry muffin and the "Media Noche" sandwich, which consists of roasted pork, Maria's sauce, lettuce, tomato and cheese. It was delicious! All of the staff members are extremely kind and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting Maria's Java Sun.

Out of all of the options in the area, Java Sun is the best in terms of food and coffee quality, service, cleanliness, hours and seating!

What a homely, friendly place, with comfortable seats and lovely staff.

The Java Sun Coffee Roasters place is well located in Marblehead and serves coffee and treats to go or to eat inside. We opted for a lovely large Americano in a real china mug. I do so much prefer my coffee out of a 'real' cup. Polystyrene or even paper is just not the same. My partner had the same but also enjoyed an oatmeal blueberry muffin – the best muffin he has had for many a year.

Have been going here for years and have always had a great experience. Big fan of the avocado toast and recently tried the chicken salad- fab! Comfortable seating and friendly staff with fair prices.

I was taking a stroll around the downtown area and wandered upon this spot. I grabbed an ice mocha, and it was tasty and also quite pretty! Everyone was friendly, and I would definitely go back.

The muffins are absolutely the best on Marblehead. Maybe even the country. The manger Diego was super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return and try other menu items. May God bless this special business.

Such a lovely shop with kind staff! They have rotating coffee roasts throughout the week (in addition to a house blend), which is such a fun way to try something new. Great coffee and one of the best bagel breakfast sandwiches of recent memory!

YEARS AGO JAVA SUN USED TO MAKE ORANGE MUFFINS! THEY SOLD OUT FAST. SO FASSSSSSSST! MUFFINS WERE ALWAYS STICKY AND WARM FROM THE OVEN, WITH A SUPER ORANGEY, GOOEY CRISPINESS ON THE EDGES, TYPE OF COATING. THE HOT CHOCOLATE WAS TOO DIE... FOR AS WELL. SUPER NICE SHOP, REALLY NICE FOOD. MISS THE ORANGE MUFFINS.... SO MUCH! FABULOUS MUFFINS. BLUEBERRY MUFFINS ARE NICE TOO!

Such a fabulous resource. I lived in Marblehead for many years and loved this great place for its outstanding coffee selection and really, really good pastries and sandwiches. A standout!

This cafe is so lovely! I got a smoothie, and a coffee and they were both delicious! The staff was awesome as well!
