Plentiful coffee and chai/tea options and a good variety of pastries as well as some breakfast and lunch options.

Friendly staff and beautiful ambience.

This place is great and is the perfect place to become a regular. The coffee is on par with any other place, but the matcha and the smoothies set it apart. Even the breakfast sandwiches are top notch. Little trinkets and stickers always attract my two young daughters and I've picked up several nice wood block prints that were for sale on the wall. Plus it feels good to support female owned local businesses. Thanks Maddie

This is definitely my favorite coffee shop in the metro area. The music is quiet enough that I can work on my laptop. Everyone who works here is always nice, and I've actually had a few really nice conversations with other patrons, too. I really enjoy the drinks and baked goods I get here, they're always yummy. The vibes are absolutely adorable and sitting outside chatting with a friend when it's warm out is nice. I haven't taken my dog here yet, but outside the door they have a water dish, treats, and a place to hang up your dogs leash while you run in and get your coffee. I love the browsing and sometimes buying things from the little shopping area. The only thing I'd change is I'd love if it were open later, I just can't get enough of The Bean!

Went for light brunch with grandkids and their parents. We took a big table, and 5 chairs. It worked out. Kids ate most of their sandwiches. We all enjoyed our food. The place was steadily busy, but not too crowded. It was a Sunday.

I come to the Wild Bean often for coffee. Although the coffee shop is small, the atmosphere and staff are always nice to be around. On weekend mornings it gets especially hard to find a seat, but if you go more so in the afternoon, you should be fine to grab a seat to hang out. The cold brews are always great, and in the wintertime, the lattes are warm and delicious.

The Wild Bean is a fun coffee shop right in Mahtomedi. I've had lattes and regular coffee. Both were good. They have quite a few different treats (donuts, muffins, etc), and other food options. I'd like to try some of their breakfast options. There's a place to hook up your dog outside and a very friendly place.

My favorite coffee shop since I was a kid. I love stopping here for a latte and some breakfast sandwiches. It is a good place to get some work done or read. The inside is smaller, and can fill up quickly by overall it is a wonderful coffee shop and really the only place for good coffee in mahtomedi.

Very cute coffee shop. Outgoing and friendly staff. The food and drinks are excellent. I always get the turkey pesto panini, and the matcha strawberry latte, it's my favorite breakfast to have in the cities. It is wheelchair accessible, and there is ample parking both in the lot in the back and the front.

All the elements I love in a coffee shop. Great coffee. Delicious snacks. Locally-owned. Comfortable interior. And the buzz of loyal local clientele. This could become .y new favorite coffee spot.

This is such an amazing coffee shop, my favorite outside of the Twin Cities. It is so cozy and they have very creative and delicious drinks. The food is super good too. I recommend to everyone I meet!!

The cutest small town coffee shop, just because it's small, it's menu is not! Many options for syrups, coffee, and milk substitutes are available!! They offer limited food menu as well. Highly recommend, the service was very nice too.

I ordered a lavender cold brew with cold foam and a sausage breakfast burrito and both were very good. The cold foam was on point and I would drink a glass of just that!

Nice community coffee shop and outdoor seating. Good bike and pet friendly destination.

My kids and I really love this coffee shop. They go for the mango smoothies and the loud questions about other customers. I love it for the easy walk and the delicious coffee. The staff is always friendly and brightens your day. They have plenty of regulars who must feel the same way.

It feels good to support a local business, to show your kids it’s important to do. I’m impressed by the owner who’s doing something big at a young age. We’ll definitely be back!

I usually stop in while out for a walk. The atmosphere is relaxing and the coffee is excellent.

I came in from the cold on the first snowy day, in October, and was looking for hot 🔥 soup or chili....they don't do that currently, but they had very fresh baked goods, and the foam on my mocha bespoke a pride in craft not all coffee shops uphold.
The staff was helpful and efficient and nice to me, that and their gifty wall made me want to come back when I have more time to relax and enjoy a beverage there!

Absolutely amazing new ownership! Staff is super friendly and quick, they redid the patio as well as the inside and they’re both gorgeous, there are new delicious and creative drinks and it’s such a relaxing, small-town, welcoming space! A hidden gem that’s charming because it’s so different from many of the coffeeshops in the cities.
