The Muffin Shop

I grew up in Marblehead and always loved this place. They have a great selection of food and pretty much everything is very good. It's simple diner food done right, and their baked goods are just fantastic. Bagels, muffins and cookies are all delicious. Everything is also fairly priced and has large portions. Worth the trip if you're from out of town, and a great local spot to pick up food to go and walk around the cute part of town it's in (old town).

Party of 4, each of us was extremely satisfied with our lunch choices of soup , sandwiches, & cookies. We were surprised at the great lunch selections thinking this was only a bakery & coffee. Lots here to enjoy.

Excellent place for breakfast. The french toast, egg sandwich, and chicken panini were great! The cold brew coffee was top-notch as well!

My kind of place on a windy cold day like it was when we stopped by. Amazing assortment of muffins, which were pretty much gone at 1pm on this Sunday afternoon. Lots of people evidently buy them by the dozen judging by the neatly stacked piles of boxes at the end of the counter. They also have apple cider donuts (amazingly good), Joe Froggers (authentic molasses cookies from colonial days!) as well as chowders (lobster one very good ... not corn starchy) and lobster rolls. Will be back soon!

The Mufiin Shop is a great place for breakfast or lunch. There were 6 of us, some ordering breafast (which is served all day) and others ordering lunch. All of the food was delicious, and the staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant.
You need to order your food at the counter, leave your name, pay your bill when you order, and find a table.
When your food is ready, one of the staff members brings your meal to your table.
There is free parking at the back of the restaurant. If you park in the back, you do need to walk up some steps.

Stopped in for lunch and burn some time on way to airport. I had chicken wrap it’s enormous really tasty with a pickle and a bag of crisps nice coffee and lots of sweet options too

Great local place for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast: muffins! And large cookies all homemade. Breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, waffles and French toast. Lunch: big sandwiches all made with fresh ingredients. Comes with pickle and chips. Can't go wrong. Really good iced coffee drinks. My daughter likes the cold brew with soy, and my favorite is the iced chai with vanilla syrup. Owner and staff are helpful and friendly. Our go-to place when we are in town.

Stopped in for a cold drink. I walked out with some yummy pastries!

After running a half marathon, there’s no place I’d want to go than this ! Delicious food and quality service !!!

I had the best lobster of my life here earlier this week. It was so loaded with lobster meat that it took me two days to eat it — and it was even better the second day! Also got a cranberry nut muffin that was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Too bad we live in Wisconsin or I would be hitting this place up ALL the time.

The Muffin Shop is so warm and friendly. As soon as I walked in, an older cute couple sitting, drinking their coffee greeted me with a smile and a hello. I walk to the counter and order my breakfast sandwich (which was sooooo goood) and proceeded to look at the freshly baked cookies and muffins... it was 830 in the morning and that Hermit cookie looked too good to pass up! Haha! So I asked for one. Ate it as I waited for sandwich to be made. It was delicious! The owner saw I enjoyed it so much he handed me another, saying take it for later...and it was free!
I can't say enough great things about this beautiful little shop and the people in it. Whenever I am in Marblehead, it has become a must stop. I'm hoping you are ever in Marblehead. MA, tgat this review would prompt you to visit here. You'll see....it will become a must stop for you too!!!

Google says no dine in. This is not accurate- you can eat inside. I love the cookies - especially the holiday cookie. They also make great sandwiches.

What a surprise. Took my sister out for a lobster roll and fell into the Muffin Shop in Marblehead. Amazing 👏 Friendly help and I will go back over and over.

We are staying in Marblehead at an rental property. This place came highly suggested by the owner. We've had our coffee there every day. The customers are so friendly! Not to mention the sweet staff. The owner is a real peach and treats everyone the same. This is one of the most home town feel type of coffee shop every town needs...I still need to try there lobster roll....

I’ve been here about 10 times for breakfast with my fiancé and it was perfect and very reasonable price. Every is fresh and made to order. Simple classic breakfast dishes. The coffee and lattes are actually really good too!
Breakfast is definitely my favorite thing to get here, great value for the amount of food. Also muffins are amazing. Same with waffles.

The owner is very nice and the coffee is delicious! I got a full breakfast with pancakes eegs and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly. It is casual, and family friendly. You serve yourself and throw your stuff away when your done which is perfect for the casual atmosphere. Very clean place. There is a great local atmosphere and I cant wait to go back and try the scones they looked amazing!
