Great time here. We had gotten take out from here before, but wanted to make sure we tried dining in to get the full experience. The food was great! The cocktails were delicious

Amazing food, drinks, service, and atmosphere! 10/10 experience all around. My husband and I agreed it was the best Mexican food we've ever had. We ordered the guac w/ pork belly, surf + turf quesadilla, fried fish taco, and pork belly taco. Quesadilla was our favorite, but the whole meal was divine from start to finish!

The only time I share reviews is when I am impressed by an experience. And that I was at Buenomalo. For starters, the service was incredible and it is amazing to see a culture of employees who are truly invested in providing excellent service-indeed a rare thing these days. The food was delicious with great combinations of flavor. The salsa in the trio was one of the best we've ever had, until the owner Mike brought out his spicy salsa for us to try which combined with the salt on their dangerously good house made chips was the absolute ideal balance of spice perfection. So good! We are big margarita fans and the margaritas looked as good as they tasted! We tried several of the tacos which were all so flavorful but I would rank the shrimp one as my #1. And then I had to try the fried oreos having grown up with them on the jersey shore, which were paired with Richardson's coffee oreo ice cream...insane!! So good and best fried oreo I've ever had. I rate our experience a 5 out of 5 and it looks like we will be making more trips to Andover in the near future! We found a favorite!

I've found the Holy Grail. The PERFECT eating experience from start to finish. And surprise, it's at a taco shop!!

Most meals, even fantastic ones, come with occasional missteps, whether it's cold, hard bread at a fancy steakhouse - or limp soggy French fries at a great burger place. You just always expect one piece of the meal to be lackluster, always.

However, Bueno Malo REFUSES to give a sub-excellent food experience. Every single piece of our enormous meal was sensational. Not a single bad moment! Here's a recap below:

Tacos - huge portions, generous amounts of pico de gallo salsa, big pieces of flaky delicious fried fish. There's no holding back.

Quesadillas - We opted for the steak and shrimp. Again, super generous portion sizes with large chunks of juicy steak. Honestly, it felt like we could eat this with a knife and fork because the steak chunks were almost the size of steak tips!

Sides - Homemade empanadas, deep-fried pockets filled with juicy mushrooms. This felt like a juicy lucy in the way that molten mushroom juice hit your mouth. Also, their French fries are cut in the most unique way, into thin, wide slats. Makes them extremely crunchy and tasty!

Finally to top off the meal, we got the deep-fried Oreos, which was our first experience having them. The Oreo interior was molten and soft, while the exterior had a nice crunchy bite. Paired with a scoop of Oreo ice-cream, this meal was finished with a bang!

This is one great spot. First and foremost Caitlyn, Mike, Franco and the staff are all amazing. the food and drinks are exceptional, side note always get the special. One page menu so they can perfect everything. I can’t say enough about it try it and you’re welcome.

Best Mexican place in the area. Started with guacamole and chips, and we devoured that (big portion too - they even gave us a refill of chips). Then we each got a couple of tacos. All 4 were very good. We barely even touched the beans and rice that were served for the table with the tacos. Their cocktail, margarita, and tequila list was both impressive and funny(with their drink names). Their craft beer was also very good, ended up getting a vitamin sea 16oz can! Finally their throne room is fun and a good experience. We love it. Will be back again for sure!

Ooh, so bueno, but I like the malo more. Excellent So-Cal Mexican in the heart of downtown. Only thing to make it better, would be to make it bigger.

They made it bigger! Congrats on the expansion. Same great food, same exceptional service, just bigger!

We were quoted a 40 minute wait, but only had to wait 20 minutes. It is rare to go somewhere and literally want everything on the menu, cocktails included. Well, that's what happens here. The "share" menu is amazing, and the tacos don't disappoint either. This is definitely worth a return trip.

Fantastic drinks, huge food portions. A little on the noisy side but that’s the construction of the place. Just shows it’s busy. The bottom less rice and beans is expensive, but if you have a part of say 5 or more it makes sense. Some of the best Mexican I’ve had.

Some of the best Mexican in the greater Boston area. We make a trip out here every so often, just because the food is so great. Their outdoor space is also very cute. Parking is plentiful.

My wife and I were looking for a place close to home and we stumbled across this place. Everything was on point from the moment we walked in. The staff were very attentive. We had Emily as our server and she was awesome! My wife got a burrito that was bigger than a small child.My wife enjoyed. I had the tacos, shrimp and steak. Both cook perfectly and were delicious. The drinks were also prepared to our expectation. The pricing in my opinion is in lime with the service and quality of the food. We will be back. Three words to describe our experience. " You nailed it!" Keep up the good work My fellow restaurateur!

Food was delicious, plentiful, and not very costly, place was cozy and quiet. Had a great lunch with my wife. I had the fish burrito and that is what I am getting next time.

It just doesn't get much better than this restaurant. Food is always super fresh and absolutely delicious. Drinks are absolutely spectacular. We can't go to too many other restaurants these days because we are just disappointed everywhere else we go. From service to food it can't be beat.

We absolutely love Bueno Malo, we can't say enough about the food. The menu is limited, but everything on the menu, is amazing. We love the staff, they are all very welcoming, friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, and that you are happy. The atmosphere is hipster, and fun, my only constructive feedback, is the noise, and how loud it gets, making it hard to hear and have conversations with your party.
